Every member of Lee Brothers Construction made me feel that my home was a priority. The entire roof was replaced along with 2 corners that were knocked off by falling trees. One whole room needed interior repairs to sheetrock and painting. All the exterior repairs were painted or stained as well. Outside plumbing and a deck ripped up by root balls of trees were repaired and replaced. Every area was not only repaired it was improved thanks to their conscientious attention to detail. All of the workers were very polite and helpful. Great experience with Lee Brothers to do a total deck replacement and new roof including new skylights. Terrific staff and expert project management for a complicated two story deck that required demo and rebuild in same footprint. Having never done an add on or a remodel on any home, they walked us through every step, holding our hand and giving us a nudge when needed. The entire team maintained the upmost professionalism while working with us through changes, unforeseen issues and literally absorbed our stress as their own. We used Lee Brothers Construction for a remodeling job on our house which consisted of enclosing a portion of our back porch as well as building an elevated porch extension with a roof. I was impressed with the quality of their work and, despite some delays due to the inevitable supply chain issues everyone experienced the job was completed on time and on budget. The workers on the job, especially Ben, were very friendly and did a quality job. Not all bad, but mostly. My husband and I hired Lee Bros. to rehab/remodel (dry in only) an old farmhouse on our property that had never been completed. We researched Lee Bros. and felt confident about them. First issue - they were supposed to work within the existing framing and only replace the rotted/deficient portions, which they said they could do. We drove up around 10:00 am to find only a slab! No one was there working so it had to have been torn down the day before. No one from Lee Bros. had called to let us know that the whole thing needed to come down, why it had to come down, what impact it would have on the budget or timeline - no information at all. After having a direct conversation with the CM about communication, we thought maybe it was a blessing in disguise, and I worked with someone at Lee to revise the plans. I have to say that she was so helpful with this - even sending me revisions on Thanksgiving evening. We resumed work. Next, we were asked to provide paint/stain colors, which I sent over to Lee Bros. The CM also made the comment during one of our early conversations saying, "I'll be ready for paint next week." I found out later that paint is not included with our bid since we wanted only dry in. Why was I asked to provide paint colors?? There were other small issues/concerns so we asked for a meeting with the team to get things on the right track. It went well and then... Third issue - we were told on a Tuesday that they needed a tub and valve on site for the plumbing rough in. the plumber was scheduled to come on Thursday! We knew the plumber was scheduled but had not been previously told they needed these items. I then questioned the size of the tub and was told, by three different Lee Bros. employees that it had to be 60x30. The opening for the tub is approx. 74" so I questioned this. They assured me it had to be 60x30. So, I go buy a tub and have it there Friday morning. We couldn't get the valve in on time. This now delayed the plumber by a week, and we still stressed over a tub. When the tub was put in, there was almost 12" gap! It was not the right size. By now, I'm just exhausted from dealing with Lee Bros. I could go on with more like different trim on each side of the porch, leaking fireplace, window order confusion, but I think anyone who reads this will get the picture. Poor communication - bottom line. I'm in real estate, and we have done several build and remodel projects - none of them were this frustrating and demeaning. I don't mind paying for good service, quality work and respect. The work was mediocre with typical contractor quality issues, but Lee Bros. definitely did not communicate well or respect us as customers. By the way, I have an extra bathtub for anyone who needs it!Services: Design, Project management, Remodeling

Lee Brothers Construction replaced our roof after hail damage. They were great to work with. They helped us with selection of new roofing material, insurance, and the work product has been great. Since replacing the roof, we've experienced some massive amounts of rain with no leaks. They also did a very nice job of keeping the work site clean (no nails in our tires). We hired Lee Brothers to do a large home addition to our house in Elkins lake. We added a little under 900 square feet of living space and a new garage. After unsuccessful attempts to shop for a larger home or a lot to build, we decided to go with adding on to our existing home.We started with a consultation and went quickly into a meeting with and architect. The design process was quick and painless.Shortly after the designs were finalized, we received the estimate and entered into a contract. Yesterday, we did our final walk-through and the work is 100% complete.I must say that living in a home during construction is not the most pleasant experience that I’ve ever had, but it was well worth it! Lee Brothers and Kayon (GM) made it way more comfortable than it should have been, and the end result is even better than we expected. The work was done in a matter that it’s difficult to tell that the house wasn’t always this way.I highly recommend Lee Brothers to anyone building from scratch, adding on, or remodeling their home. When my wife and I decided to extend, cover and enclose our patio we got quotes from 4 reputable local contractors. Lee Brothers Construction was the clear winner in the quoting department. They were professional, thorough and took plenty of time to answer all our questions.Once construction began Tony, Rocky and Jake went about their business as true professionals. No corners were cut, everything was done according to code and the jobsite was thoroughly cleaned at the end of every day.We now have a beautiful 430 sq. ft. addition to our home and couldn't be happier. Hurricane Harvey literally sunk our sunken master bedroom. Everything had to be replaced- custom wood trim, carpet, walls, doors, vanities, fixtures, paint, even wall mirrors. Lee Brothers did an amazingly awesome job, even better than original. Their attention to detail and craftsmanship is excellent, the job was done in a timely manner and the workers were all very friendly AND very conscientious about getting it right the way we wanted it and not leaving a huge dusty mess every day. I heartily recommend Lee Brothers Construction for anyone needing home remodeling, they actually care about their clients and take pride in their work.

Lee Bros. did a fantastic job with a complete renovation of our lakehouse. They replaced wiring, plumbing, flooring, and changed the interior layout to accommodate an additional half bath. They handled the entire job professionally. Rick was able to give us an accurate estimate and time of completion and he stayed on plan throughout the project. At the end, he even presented us an album documenting the renovation. I strongly recommend Lee Bros.

Large oak tree fell on my house. Not catastrophic damage but needed to be repaired. Also had some water damaged edging that needed to be replaced. Had the roof re-shingled as well. Lee Brothers workers arrived on time, completed the jobs in a timely and professional manner. Very satisfied with the quality of work performed and the cleanup afterward. Along with many others we suffered damage during hurricane Harvey. We were at a total loss on what to do and who to hire. We saw a contractor at one of our neighbors house and stopped to chat with him. He told us he did a lot of work with Lee Brothers and the homeowner let us see the progress of the work they had been doing. We were impressed and called Russell to see if they could help us as well. Being our second home we were very limited on when we could be there, he accommodated us and we met right away.Richard came by and surveyed the damage and said they could help us. From day one everything was great, the contractors were all very professional and courteous. One thing to note is that we were unable to be their daily to monitor any work performed so we placed all our trust on Lee Brothers. Richard and Russell made an anxiety filled event the most organized one ever for us. Any issues (hardly any at all) were quickly resolved, we had constant communication and use of Portal to track work. All of the contractors - from flooring, bath remodeler, tile layer, cabinet maker to painters were all fabulous and easy to work with! All were very friendly and knowledgeable in their areas and none tried to push things on us we didn’t need nor request. The quality of their work exceeded our expectations! The best part of it all was we were able to get everything done within our budget, just as promised!If we ever have to go through anything like this again, Lee Brothers will be the first one we will call!

The Lee Brothers replaced our roof after a bad hailstorm a few years ago.We were very happy with the work they did for us. They were also easy to get ahold of and responsive when we needed to contact them. Later, when a falling branch damaged the roof while we were out of town, they were able to fix it while we were gone. When another hailstorm damaged our roof again this year (2020), we contracted with them again for the repair. Things didn't go quite as smoothly this time around. The job took longer than predicted, and a couple days after it was finished, we had to call to get them to come by and remove some of the materials they'd left in our driveway. But they remained very quick to respond whenever we reached out to them.

I gave a rating of a four only because of the experience I had with my first GM, as soon as I was paired with Kayon the project started moving along and the quality was excellent. He made the experience enjoyable and created a relationship with the people that he works with. If I would have started out with Kayon as my GM my rating would have been rated a five hands down. David took us every step of the way from making sure that the insurance claim was accurate to making sure that the shingle replacement was done quickly and in a very professional manner. I contacted Lee Construction last week and asked if I could have someone come out to look at my roof to see if it needed any repairs. The lady I spoke to said they were no longer doing repairs so I asked if someone could come out to give me a quote on what the cost would be for a new metal roof since my husband and I have been talking about replacing our current roof with a metal roof. She scheduled an appointment for Friday and said someone would call me. No one called me. Customer Service has really gone down the drain in the last 2 years. Sad to see. I will be giving my business to another roofing company.

My husband and I had an initial in-home estimate to show Lee Brothers Construction where we wanted a room addition and additional small project to have the back yard gate and wood fence move out 8 feet. From that in home visit we were verbally advised that they usually charge $140-$160 dollar per square foot for their constructions., so we calculated maximum $160 per square foot and taxes plus some additional charges. We decided to move forward and agreed to have them perform the design for $1500. After a month long wait we received the estimate which was significantly higher than expected, so we were very disappointed. In follow up conversations, our PM basically did not agree with what was said during the initial site walk. Additionally, while there was an itemized list of the work pieces to be performed, the overall quote did not have the amounts broken out line by line as one might expect. In essence, we felt misled and as "experts" in construction, you would think that if you are doing a 100 square foot room addition, that Lee Brothers would be clear, up front in initial conversations, that the square footage is actually larger than 100 square feet because of the additional space on the existing structure that would be impacted by the addition. We were hopeful to find a good partner to work with but instead feel misled, and went from excited to disappointed.Service: Home addition construction
