We had a part of our roof fall out (see pictures for before and after, I've heard people call it doghouse, but don't know the exact term), discovered it Saturday afternoon. Bret's company was referred to me, fast response time, he came in that same day to take a look, got my issue resolved the very next day. This all happened during mid January, with about 30 degrees outside, so appreciate the fast turnaround and work he did.

Recent storms created a substantial leak in a portion of our roof. I called Bret at Texas Pride Roofing and he came out the same day, assessed the situation, and returned the next morning to repair our roof. Bret was personable, professional, and did an excellent job repairing our roof. I am very impressed and highly recommend Bret and Texas Pride Roofing. The cost of our repair was surprisingly low and very reasonable. Given the destructive nature of spring storms in Texas it is refreshing to have a trustworthy resource you can count on. My name is Joe my house was hit by hail in a bad storm, it totaled my roof and damaged my fence.We had already worked with Bret in the past. so we went ahead and used him on the roof replacement and dealing with the insurance.He was able to get a few items added that weren't on the original insurance estimate. Which was good for us we were able to upgrade our shingles to impact resistant.We scheduled the roof insulation while we were going to be out of town on vacation. I did not want to be around for all the banging. My wife's only concern was the front flowerbeds and all the flowers. 💐 Bret promised to cover them all up and keep them safe.We left Bret a key and off we went margaritas on the beach. We came back home to a new roof with our flowerbeds exactly how we left them. After the roof, he built us a new 8 ft board on Boardfence. The gates are built stronger than Fort Knox. If you're looking for a good company to use on your roof or fence I highly recommend Bret with Texas Pride construction we've had a great experience using him 😎

Texas Pride is, in a word - Awesome!! They were very quick to respond to my roofing repair request. Not only did they have a quote for me fast, but were able to get to my repair BEFORE the rain came!! I will be having them back to do another roof repair in a couple of weeks! We reached out to Bret to replace the drier jack on my roof and fill two holes on my exterior. A good price hard to beat. Miguel was a nice person and got the filling work done nicely. Bret is a friendly and skilled roofer. He also did an extra roofing inspection for us and helped identify damage around my attic by rodent chewing. Both guys are the type of super cool pals who you may want to hang out with after work.I highly recommend this company if you have any roofing or handyman work with height.

Bret and his guys Josue’ and Jose did an amazing job on our arbor over our master bedroom back deck. They came out to look at the job and gave me a very fair quote for the job, and once I approved it they got to work and finished it very quickly. Now it’s on me to run my electrical for a fan and string lights so that it can be closed up with cedar underneath. We couldn’t be happier with the project.Thank you Bret for the awesome work. My neighbor recommended Texas Pride to me and I could not be happier with the company. I needed my roof looked at after the recent hail storm. The roof was beyond just repairs. Bret delt with my insurance company so I did not have to. When they came to redo the roof my yard was tarped off to prevent any debris from being left in my yard and to prevent any damage to my landscaping. My new roof looks great. The process was seamless and painless. Bret even gave me a hook up for being a veteran.

Texas Pride replaced our roof a few years ago. Bret upgraded the shingles to impact resistant. He and his team did a great job and they protected our plants as well. If I could give Texas Pride 1000 stars, I would. With all the roofing companies out there to choose from, it's not an easy task picking a good one. I am lucky I found Texas Pride!!! Jackie and Lance were extremely courteous and professional. Jackie did an excellent job preparing and then staining our fence. It looks great. Chris an Angel did a poor job of replacing the rotten pieces if wood, most of the nails weren’t even attached. Ended up with more holes in existing slats. Would not recommend. They said they would come back because stain they put on wasn’t dry even after 4 days. Never heard from them again

Texas Pride and Brett have been a great help on a number of different home projects over the past 5 years. Initially he installed a horizontal fence that turned out amazing; both in design and build quality. So nice that my neighbor had his fence done a month later. Next he did a partial kitchen remodel that turned out great, went off without a hitch. Lastly, 3 months ago he completed a new roof (3,700 sq ft) on time and not a penny over budget! He managed the job site and effectively lead the crew to complete the entire roof in a single day. He was on top of everything and even provided weather reports leading up to the job and had multiple contingency plans in case there were unforeseen circumstances.Most roofers will tell you what you "should do" what you "need to do" and tell you "you don't want that". I decided to use a special order and upgraded tile, a little more money, a very different mixture of colors, but most roofers I spoke with were "certain" I shouldn't special order because they can get me a "better deal" aka materials they want you to use. They told me it" would look terrible" and better to use generic tile; they were quite wrong because it looks amazing!!! I will try and upload a picture.later . Bret was totally open to my ideas and supportive of the architectural designed tiles and custom ridge tiles. He has an artist like need for perfection, takes great pride in his work and possess a refreshing direct integrity ; these are the qualities I look for when hiring someone to tear my home apart and put it all back together again.TX Pride has my FIVE star seal of approval, may even have my floors done by them.

It was such a pleasure working with Bret from start to finish for the repair of my roof. As a first time homeowner all by myself, he made this experience a positive one. It’s hard to find honest people especially in this industry but I definitely recommend Texas Pride Construction to all my friends and neighbors.A few homes in my neighborhood have had roof replacements. Not sure how to go about this process but I had to have it inspected due to the fact my house was placed on the market. It was in my best interest to have the roof reviewed and repaired or replaced if needed.After a full inspection, Bret told me it was not necessary to replace the roof and there was only a few minor repairs. He recommended I contact my insurance company to verify if they felt it prudent to have an inspector investigate the roof as well. A USAA representative stated, “If you have a local roofing company inspect your roof and they recommend repairs, not replacement, THAT is a good roofing company.”Bret is a great communicator that is kind, honest and genuine person. A couple years ago we had a hail storm in Carter Ranch and we needed a new roof. Now my wife and I are in our 70's so you want to be cautious. We had a lot of contractors knocking at our door, but we didnt know anything about them. I had met Bret a few months earlier when he was working for my neighbor and felt he was honest, hard working, young man, so we called him and we weren't disappointed. Bret took charge, worked with the insurance company to get everything we needed to bring our roof up to code. Plus move money for things the adjuster had missed. Now after 2 years since our roof was installed we haven't had one problem. I now morning let call Bret my contractor I also consider him my friend and I would highly recommend Texas Pride Roofing to anyone who needs a new roof or repair!

I contacted Texas Pride after a recent wind storm took out part of my fence the day before Christmas Eve. I knew it would be tough to get anyone to come out but Brett responded to my call within an hour(and this was late at night). Mr.Bret Dickey he is very honest businessman and doing excellent work. I asked him to repair my fence and give me an inspection on my roof after storm. I was shocked to find he told me there wasn't any damage when multiple other roofers told me there was so much damage. Bret said there was not enough damage to even call the insurance and sure enough the adjuster came out and said my roof is fine, no damage. I was very pleased with his honesty and excellent fence work.

Brett Dickey was a HUGE help. My wife and I are on a 1/3rd acre lot and recently spent thousands to replace one section of our fence with a DIFFERENT fence company. I called Texas Pride Construction to check out my roof. I assumed because of the age of the roof I would be recommended to replace it. Every other roofing company said immediately after hearing the age of the roof said it needed to be replace. Not this company! They came out and found a few nails that were popped up and that around the vent pipes needed to be recaulked. They took care of my needs immediately. I truly appreciated all of the honesty that I received from this company. I would highly recommend them to all of my friends and family. I would even recommend them to my enemies! It’s a breath of fresh air to find an honest company. Thank you Bret for everything.
