One of the best experience we had with super friendly and helpful staff of the store. Early July we I and my wife were heading toward a month long trip in beautiful north west national and state parks. near Monahans TX the support of the solar panels on top of the van broke and we needed to temporary fix it. Google search directed us to True Value hardware store. James and other staff helped us a lot to do the job. They even let us use some of their tools such as ladder, drill, etc. Within a couple of hours we were on the road again. Many many thanks for all the help. It was truly a southern hospitality.

The lady's there are super, as soon as you walk in the door they are greeting you and helping get what you need... The place is clean. Bathrooms clean. Parking lot is great. They have everything. If they don't , they will get it..

Help was very professional. The gentleman that helped me knew exactly what I needed and where it was. He even informed me if it was not the correct size, I could return it. Now that is not normal in Monahans! I would have given 5 stars if this had not been my first time shopping there.

They treat you from the moment you walk in like you're stealing. I have no problem with them watching customers, but they literally won't leave your side. They trip over themselves to get to you before you make it down an isle (no, not in a good customer service kind of way). I have tried going in a couple of times and it's always the same. Will never go back.

Go here before you go to Ace hardware!!! I went to ace for a couple of things and when they realized they didn’t have ONE of the several things I needed, they ditched me, even though I still needed help. The workers at True Value are so sweet and beyond helpful! And they usually have what ace hardware has at a better price. I’ll be making this my go to hardware store in monahans, tx!

Staff was rude. Went to drop off a truck, that I brought the night before, but had to wait till they where open because they do not have online drop off. Went in to turn in the keys and the staff got offended because I didn't want to sweep out the back of the truck. I did that the night before, but was still charged the additional fee. Will not be returning to this store and thank the good lord I do not live in that town.

Came to Monahans for a project, told my guys to shop local, purchased $169 yesterday got a couple of items thay had already bought. Went in today for additional items and exchange excess items in original packaging and in their store bag. Left receipt at job told nothing without receipt i expect this out of box store not a family owned business so I left and went to Tractor Supply and spent $800 sad business model.

I was really offended by the two employees who attended me on Monday, March 2020, I went to deliver an ulhau trailer and they laughed at me for not speaking enough English, I should have responded in the same way but I am not such people .If I were the head of that establishment and one of my employees makes fun of one of my clients, I immediately dismiss him because nobody is better than anyone.I don't remember or pay attention to the name of those two employees.This happened on Monday, March 2, 2020 around 8:30 a.m.My name is Cesar Laguna and I'm 58 years old

Very Rude and have to load your own materials..they need some youngsters in there that can lift 80# sandbags . Bad enough they're high in price but load it too ?!? Wont be going there again

Tuve una fuga de agua en el departamento ,. Fui porque siempre que paso no hay clientes y crei que lo iva a ser rápido,Me dieron una pieza que no funcionó,La quiero cambiar y no quisieron .Super molesto, una mujer joven según la manejadora, fue la que me recomendó el producto y no tarde ni una hora en regresar y dijo que no porque esta usado.Aparte iva a comprar o intercambiar por otras cosas pero no , sali muy molestó.Tienda chafa 👎
