Nitro (Duane) helped me with the claim through TWIA and all I had to do was pay the deductible, deposit the insurance checks, and cut checks to Nitro. I did plenty of research to understand the process, but mostly no need with these guys. The TDI inspector had only positive comments about the quality of their work, which really meant something given I brought in a TDI inspector instead of the one Nitro connects with. I highly recommend contacting these guys if you need a new roof.(Keep a close eye out for nails afterward, though. I watched them do a comprehensive cleanup with a magnet, but I've had dozens of nails show up over weeks, including one in my tire.Edit: Patching my tire was free - one benefit of always buying your tires from Discount Tires.)Service: Roof repair

I should have written this review a year and a half ago when they installed my roof. They deserved it then. But we had a small issue around some of the vents in the roof recently, and they came out first thing the next morning and repaired those spots and inspected all the others. They were so responsive when we were getting our roof replaced in early 2021. Always on time and did such a great job. The roof looks great, and they walked us through filing the insurance claim for the wind and storm damage and old broken shingles. We even used them for interior painting of several rooms in our house, as well as patching drywall since we were moving our wall-mounted TV. Again, professional, good job, responsive, immediately fixed any issues that popped up, and just a pleasure to work with. Very refreshing to have a contractor like that. I will be using them and recommending them for anything roof-related, and we will be using them for interior projects as well. Very nice people! I purchased an older home that was in need of some roofing work. What I really appreciated about Nitro Roofing was that Andrew inspected the roof and explained that the roof had a few more years left in it and that all that was really needed right now was new boots around all the vent pipes. Andrew took before and after pictures and was responsive to my questions and timely in getting the repairs done. You may contact me if you have any questions about this company-this is a 100% honest review of Nitro Roofing. First off I will say the guy who first knocked on my door wasn't very knowledgeable; I found out later he was new and was learning and he basically was someone who was just going door to door to find out if there is any interest in using Nitro Roofing's service (So I don't really fault them for that-but just be aware and don't let that scare you off). The young man said he would have one of his field inspector's come inspect the roof and answer all of my questions as soon as possible and within 15 minutes I was getting a call from Andrew, an extremely knowledgeable consultant, who said he could take a look at my roof within the hour. I call him a consultant because he really was someone that guided me through this entire process. Andrew was there as promised within the hour and conducted an extensive inspection of my roof. I asked him not to BS me and to tell me truly if there was any damage to the roof and how likely I would be to have a successful insurance claim as I did not want to make a claim for no reason. He was matter of fact in his answer, showed me where all the damage was and was extremely confident that there should be not just repair but complete replacement. He explained that they would only execute the roof contract if the insurance covered 100% minus my deductible responsibility and that they would meet with the insurance field adjuster. He met with the adjuster while I was at work so I didn't even need to be there and was successful in showing the damage and getting a full roof replacement approved just as he had indicated he was pretty confident he could do. He and the owner were extremely responsive to all of my questions and I couldn't have asked for a smoother process. As far as the actual work... I've never seen anything like it. There was a dumpster and pallets of shingles in my driveway at 7:30am and workers started at 8am ...roof was 100% complete before the end of the day and there wasn't one piece of trash, old roof piece, or nail left on my property. I have a pretty big roof in Galveston county so the process actually requires them to use so many nails per shingle piece and to do it by hand nailing vs a nail gun plus it had to get some windstorm roof inspection or something afterward. Even with all that they still finished in 1 day and it was PERFECT. Look, I'm a skeptic about door to door solicitors and I don't usually like to use people that I don't know, but I will tell you Nitro Roofing is PROFESSIONAL, KNOWLEDEABLE, DEPENDABLE, and HONEST. They will be the first people I call if I ever have questions about a roof at any other house I ever own and will be a company I have 100% confidence in referring friends, family, or colleagues to and know they will all receive great service! Again, if you have any question feel free to contact me- I don't normally write reviews but these guys deserve it!
