T.X. Steele and all (not some but all) of their subs are complete slop. Every phase of my build that they attempted is shotty and not per plans or modifications. This is all backed with pictures and documents.The concrete beams are not the depth as requested and then confirmed by T.X. Steele representative. The steel framing is incorrect and sloppy. The wood framing is extremely sloppy. There are studs not nailed, nails missed completely in some studs, many studs with only one nail top and bottom, door ways framed out of level, many studs on wrong side of mark, headers over doors with shims instead of OSB sandwiched in the middle, walls framed wrong height, floor plates in down stairs attached with a wood screw here and there into concrete instead of with concrete anchors or concrete pins, one of three garage doors is smaller than the others, a custom window that I paid Honest Gary and his team $4500 for but never recieved, not one closure strip installed on my entire structure but yet had atleast 6 boxes on site, master shower concrete not correct , conduit for my island filled with concrete, electrical work has to be removed and redone by a competent master electrician, plumbing fixtures had to be jack hammered out and moved, doors set out of level, and more. Needless to say , T.X. Steele is not qualified to build barndos based on what they did on our project nor would I recommend them to anyone for anything.They are very untrustworthy, not reliable, dishonest, obviously not good at reading plans or maybe just don't care , they don't inspect the work of their subs (just move to the next phase and ask for money), extremely messy crews , and just flat out horrible at what they do.These guys do not build dreams , they crush them!

Horrible. Worst contractor I’ve ever experienced. I hired him to do a job for my customer and he never finished. He still was asking me for a check at the end and wasn’t even close to finished. Left a mess at my customers job site. Left a huge pile of dirt in his backyard, concrete wasn’t even straight. Left the fence down when left as well. Communication was awful. Do not recommend.

Absolutely horrible! Worst contractor i've ever experienced! Never takes ownership of their workmanship. They used unlicensed electrician to do work on my place and i've had to spend thousands of dollars to fix the issue. Do not hire !!!!!Gary if this was not the truth then why did you block me on Facebook? And why did you unfriend me on Facebook? Only people that have something to hide remove others so the truth is not not found out. In one breath you said you would reimburse me for my electrical expense and then hire an attorney to backout of your word. I have ALL the correspondence texts and emails. I'd be happy to share with anyone who wants to know exactly what kind of persons you and Riley are.

We were very impressed with the way Gary and Riley handled business with us! There were no hidden fees, no surprises and everything we wanted and asked for they handled with no problem! We changed our minds so many times and they were very patient with us and were still happy to do what we wanted. We got our roof completely redone, added on to our back porch and our front driveway all in one day! When all the workers left there wasn't even one tiny nail left behind! We are very impressed with TX STEELE and I will recommend TX STEELE to everyone I know!

Gary and his crew did a great job on cutting out a hole and adding a second garage door to my shop. TX Steele was punctual on being there when they said they would and make sure the job was done right. Their craftsmanship and pricing were hands down, great! Our company subcontracted TX Steele to do concrete work for our customer. They refused to complete the job and left a mess on the home owners property. They have the worst communication and did not provide quality work. Would not recommend you do business with this company if you want quality work and completion of job.
