My initial review was ZERO stars due to lack of professionalism and poor communication displayed by Jacob Atchison and some of his subcontract employees… I am ONLY revising my review because after lighting him up on the internet with poor reviews, he immediately changed his tune and prioritized the work to be completed to my satisfaction. The overall experience was still deserving of a poor review and I DO NOT recommend them to anyone. It doesn’t surprise me he is unable to retain reliable skilled staff on his team.

Jacob and his team were a great blessing for us. They did a siding job on our house. Communication was frequent, the job was completed in a timely manner, high quality materials were used, and the price couldn't be beat. We are more than satisfied. We will definitely go to Hillview Remodeling for our future needs and highly recommend them to others.

Finally!!! An honest great company who does incredible work and is reasonably priced. Will tell you up front if something isn’t do-able and will stand by their work. Discussing about Jacob, the group including him is truly working productively. As a matter of fact, there is still a great deal of work to be finished in my home. I certainly educate Jacob concerning the work in my home. I have really seen him going about his responsibilities well overall and perfectly. The country actually needs workers for hire like this. Since you can convey any work with certainty, everything looks great, I energetically suggest.

I had a similar experience as “forever welder-previous reviewer) I feel that Mr. Atchison is the epitome of what a gaslighter is. I feel he tries to intimidate by using Bible verses to make you feel like you‘re the one that is wrong . I feel his method of operation is do what he wants to do and then ask for forgiveness after it already done his way!! I had to get a lawyer to intervene because he does not listen to reason. I feel he is either very slick con or a very inadequate business man. I didn’t write a review before because I thought that I was the only one he’d try to take advantage of because he thought I was naive. I was happy when I didn’t have to deal with him any more. I really feel doubtful of the authenticity of the good reviews posted here. Some of them are relatives I believe and others don’t even live in San Antonio. They are too incredible in my opinion and from what I experienced. Beware! PS I posted this before but I just want to update it so it stay on top of the fake reviews. I see since I originally post this he has scammed another person. People, do look him up on the Bexar County Clerk and District clerk COURT records website before you decide to work with this person in whatever capacity he reels you in with.

We hired Hillview Remodeling to repair and refinish our deck. They did a thorough job and got it done in a timely manner, even with some rain delays. Our deck is sturdy, buttoned up, and the stain looks great! Thanks Jacob!

Since then, I’ve had a devil of a time trying to find a competent craftsman that can help us build a better mailbox, and fulfill my wife’s dream of having a planter mailbox. Thomas is the best home remodeler that I know. The guy does it all - floor, tiling, kitchen, bathroom, etc.. you name it. They even threw in free security cameras! He can answer any question you have and will always recommend you the best and functional design. As long as Thomas is there you won’t have to worry about a thing. Your home is in the best hands. If Thomas can’t do it, then Lord almighty help me because no one can.
