I run an Airbnb and that's how I met Arthur, he booked one of my rooms for work.On the second day, I was working in my garage and we had a very healthy, lengthy conversation as he came in from work. I began sharing the issues that I was having with my roofing claim through my insurance company, and that's when I found out, that's his line of business. *Unbelievable*Arthur and his team aren't great at what they do, they're awesome. He worked with me with the adjusters, and the insurance company.The first adjuster that came out had an attitude and dared to tell us, the damage on my roof was not hail and was just disrespectful, to say the least. So I told him to leave and I called my insurance company to request another adjuster and report him. This guy tried to tell me, he will submit an incomplete assessment of my roof and I almost lost it. The second adjuster was a friend of the first adjuster and had a biased approach to the process. These adjusters definitely were not acting in the best interest of the homeowner (me). They don't care that you pay thousands for coverage and without Arthur's guidance I would have lost out on a valid claim.The third and final adjuster was extremely experienced and even took the time out to educate Arthur and I on the entire process. I was actively involved from the beginning since I'm meticulous about everything I own and I keep up with all maintenance.In the end, Arthur got my entire roof and storage shed redone in see than 1 month from the initial claim. It's been nothing but transparency, communication, and professional service since I met Arthur.When you love what you do and you truly care about your clients/customers it becomes second nature to completing a process that doesn't feel like work while you end up networking and making friends for life.Arthur, from the depths of my existence, thank you for getting my roof redone for a minuscule fraction of my deductable.I will be sending you more referrals brother. Nails Roofing, LLC utilizes very aggressive and unprofessional methods with customers. They like to intimidate and bully customers. BEWARE! On 5-20-2021, we entered a mostly verbal and partially signed agreement to fix our hail damaged roof. The agreement was made to help with the insurance claim. The final agreement would be done once the claim was approved. The claim through our insurance was approved within a few weeks. We contacted Nails Roofing owner, Leeshawn, and advised him about our success with the claim, and that we were ready to move forward with a contract to establish things in writing. That's when problems began. Leeshawn, would get upset with us from time to time when things were not done as he wanted them to be. The formal contract was never developed, and never signed by both parties. Things got so uncomfortable with this deal, after he told us we would get paperwork (but not until after the roof was done) and he said that he'd ordered our materials, that we stopped contacting Leeshawn, and just waited for Nails Roofing to instruct us on what to expect next. On July 24, 2021, Leeshawn, informed us that in 6 weeks they would start our roof due to McCoy's having to order the supplies needed. This update was done because originally Nails Roofing told us they could fix our roof in the first week of July 2021. Well, due to the uncomfortable conversations with Leeshawn, we waited for 7 weeks with no word on anything, including when they would start our roof. Intimidated by Leeshawn, and his employee Arturo, my wife and I decided to involve the BBB. On 9-14-21, after 7 weeks of silence, we did a formal complaint. We explained our experience with Nails Roofing, LLC. We requested for BBB.org to contact Leeshawn, and to inform him that we no longer wanted to do business with his company. We also, informed the BBB that we did not want Leeshawn or any of his employees to contact us or retaliate against us. The BBB did forward our complaint to Nails Roofing, but Leeshawn took matters into his own hands, instead of replying via BBB mediation. On, 9-16-2021 he called my phone. After I had answered the first call, and explained to Leeshawn that we no longer wanted to do business with his company and ended the call. He proceeded to call back 2 more times and then Arturo called once afterwards to harasses me too. Then very shortly thereafter, he sent his employee Arturo to harass us in person! We asked Arturo to leave our property, and told him that our business was terminated. Not even 5 minutes later, just as Arturo was leaving, Leeshawn showed up to our home too, and decided to start screaming at us, harassing us on how he was going to take us to court, and sue us "along with 4 other homeowners in your neighborhood". We asked him to provide the "signed contract" he was screaming about, but he refused to produce it. We had to ask him to leave our property, and notified him that we would contact San Antonio PD. He very bravely said "good call them", but left very quickly, well before PD could show up. Shortly thereafter, Leeshawn apparently decided that all that chaos was not enough, so he sent several threatening text messages to my phone. I wish this page would have a way to upload the video I took of him intimidating my family. Interestingly enough, through all this chaos Leeshawn kept denying he'd been contacted by the BBB, however he kept mentioning things in our complaint to scream about. It also just so happens that he decided to call and show up just after he got the complaint from the BBB. This entire chain of events was forwarded to the BBB and is pending investigation. There was a harassment report created by SAPD. All we requested was to professionally end our business with each other. No money was exchanged at any time, nor were the correct materials ever ordered for our roof to be replaced as the shingles manufacturer Owens Corning's warranty requires (even after thoroughly discussing it with Leeshawn and McCoy's); only many weeks of delaying a one-day roofing job.Service: Roof inspection

Nails Roofing hired my company as a subcontractor for a Solar Deinstall and Reinstall so they could do a reroofing project. 2 months later and we are still awaiting payment for the reinstall. Do not hire Nails Roofing. I would give them zero stars if I could. My partner's company hired them in January to repair a commercial roof. Nails Roofing asked for $40,000 from the insurance company to start. He hired a subcontractor and didn't supervise him. The subcontractor tore off about 30% of the roof and the rains came and caused damage to the inside of the building which has not been repaired. The section of the building which was completed, (maybe 25%), still leaks when it rains. Nails roofing stopped coming to the job in April or May and hasn't been back since. My partner has had to hire another company to repair the roof and is planning on suing Nails Roofing. There are more bizarre things about this contractor but too many to mention. Be warned.

Nails roofing was hired to repair my residential roof through my insurnce and this was my experience.-poor customer communication.-a owner who refuses to acknowledge or response to complaints.-a roof that was left damaged and unable to be inspected after the work was done by city inspectors.-poor “finishing” as described by the company’s own quality asurance Supervisor after the job was competed.A roofer fell through the second story of the home leaving a man sized hold in the upstairs bedroom. This was never repaired properly nore did the company respond with complaints. I was then forced to pay out of pocket for repairs from Blackmon Molding for drywall and ceiling repairs.Roofer broke off a section the side molding of the roof covering the attchaed garage exposing the interior of the roof to the elements. This was left open and no attempts to repair the damage despite my insurance company authorizing repair to the entirety of the roof. A roofer from the company only patched the hold with a pice if wood not treated for outside elements and spray painted poorly to match. Exterior color. There is still a hole and the company has refused to come and compete repairs with the owner stating “job has been completed”.Additionally less then three weeks after the “job was done” the metal siding used along the trime of the roof started to fall off. This is not to mention the roofing company neglected to finished placing the metal siding alone the first floor. The roofing company also never placed any of the metal siding on the sedcond floor. The roofers also left a considerable amount of this same metal siding on the first floor of my roof leaving me to remove it along with much of the excess material the roofers never bother to clean after they “finish the job”.This is not to mention the nails left all over my property which the roofing company failed to clean properly with a magnite to pick up.This was a botched job from start to finish. Additionally BBB was contacted and after nearly eight months with no response from Nails Roofing my complaint has been posted on BBB’s website unchallenged. I agree with Daniel’s review. BEWARE! This company is horrible. They also caused damage to the interior selling of our home and sent someone to ‘repair it’. That person said he had never done interior repair and had the audacity to say ‘oh just turn the lights off in your room, it won’t be noticeable’. I was blown away by his excuse as to how bad he left the ceiling. What he ‘fixed’ had to be redone at our expense as this company never responded to our attempts. The owner is extremely rude too. We called and his excuse was they couldn’t come because they have thousands of roofs they’re working on which I call BS! BBB was contacted and of course they’re hiding like the rats they are. They never responded to their attempts either. Of course because they don’t know how to do good business. We definitively learned our lesson sadly the hard way.

Had salesman knock at my door selling if i had house insurance could get roof replaced...did not do my roof to city code just bascially replaced the old shingles with new do not i repeat do not pay in full to this company until it is reinspected by whatever city you live in i felt disrespected he would do this to a us veteran of war...it was a tough lesson for me to learn i will not do business with this company again.Service: Roof repair
