Brandon and Travista were extremely professional and helped me through the whole process from start to finish. He was there when the insurance adjuster showed up and also when the roof was being put on making sure everything was correct. He made sure we got the kind of shingle we wanted and that we were happy with our new roof after completion. The workers were very friendly and made sure all trash and debris were removed which I was worried about because I just got done thoroughly working in all my flower beds. I would highly recommend Brandon and Travista for your roofing needs.Services: Gutter repairs, Gutter installation, Roof inspection, Roof installation

Our roof was installed in June of 2016. We had agreed on brand new tech shield decking, new roofing paper, and upgraded shingles (Owens Corning). Roof was finished and installed in 3 days. Everything seemed fine and seamless until Hurricane Harvey hit. We had a leak in our ceiling coming from the laundry room vent. It had left water marks down the ceiling to the exterior wall. We texted the owner and he said he would get someone out. Couple weeks go by and it still was not fixed. We texted again and never heard anything back. That was over a year ago. February 9th of 2019, we noticed water pooling up in front of our dishwasher, so we pulled it out and found some wet flooring. We called the insurance company out, they suggested Serve Master come out to do a saturation test on the floors. When Serve Master arrived he found extremely high saturation levels all the way to the ceiling and that the kitchen cabinets were molded and ruined so insurance denied the claim, determining it could not be from the dishwasher leak that we had just found. We had to hire a contractor to come out and rip our kitchen cabinets and flooring out so he could replace the saturated sheet rock. During the demolition process, we discovered lots of mold in-between the exterior wall and the sheet rock which resulted in more cost for mold remediation on our home. Upon further investigation, after the insulation was ripped out due to the mold, there was water dripping in from the roof. It was wet to the touch and visually saturated. We again called out our insurance company to inspect the roof. During their inspection, they found that the Valley of the roof, exactly where it was leaking inside of the house, had a one inch gap in the decking that was causing it to leak inside. There was also no metal flashing or roofing paper laid on the decking. The shingles are the only thing "trying" to keep the water out of our home. So again, the insurance company denied our claim due to workmanship error and suggested we get a hold of the roofing company who installed it. Our next step, contact Travista Industries Roofing company to come out and look at the roof. Upon telling them our situation, we had to call multiple times to get them to try to resolve the problem. We had MULTIPLE promises to come out and take a look at the roof and then they would be cancelled last minute. He finally told us that he was just appeasing us and had never planned on coming out to look at the roof. During this process, we called out a roof inspector to look at the rest of the roof. Upon inspection, he found multiple things wrong with the installation of the roof including ridge vent problems, bad shingle patterns resulting in little valleys through the roof for the water to get onto the decking, tons of nail heads sticking up that were not properly installed, and many other things. In conclusion to his inspection, he notified us that the manufacturing warranty on the Owens Corning shingles would be denied due to the horrible roofing installation. So not only do we have a 2 1/2 year old roof thats leaking and potentially will start leaking in another spot at any moment, but our 30 year warranty on the shingles has been voided due to the install of the roof, as well as the insurance company having noted that any roof repair will not be their responsibility because of it. Due to the damages and renovations happening in our home, we have had our renters living in a hotel for the past 3 weeks and needed multiple contractors to come out to fix the damages in the home caused by the water leak from our defective roof, including new cabinetry, sheetrock, insulation, flooring, paint, hotel expenses and having to pay out of pocket for repairs. We have gave them multiple opportunities to come and look at the roof and suggest options for repair. We have multiple documentations and invoices proving that Travista Industries is to blame for the damages.
