The process from beginning to end was very professional. They worked with my insurance carrier (SAFECO) on the hail damage which resulted in a full replacement. They were always on time and sent a larger than usual crew so my roof was completely replaced in a day. My pool and landscaping were covered by tarps for protection. During the replacement some old shingles broke a sprinkler water line. The Sloma crew fixed the break right away. Clean up was very thorough. I do not know what the problem is but I have found it very difficult to find trustworthy, competent, and reliable people in the construction trade these days. Recently, I have had several bad experiences with work done on my house. To add insult to injury, construction costs like most things you pay for these days have skyrocketed. When you hire the wrong service provider to complete a job it can have dire consequences. Let me go on record as saying I do not have the type of money to redo something I had already sacrificed to pay for. A short while ago, my roof was damaged due to a hail storm and was in need of repair. An estimate was conducted by Matthew Rae, employed by Sloma Roofing and Restoration. He inspected the roof very thoroughly and suggested I consult with my insurance provider for resolution. Admittedly, I was unsophisticated in what it entailed to teardown and put on a new roof and more specifically the exorbitant cost associated with the project. So being able to file a claim with my insurance was beneficial to helping me save lots of money. For which, I am so very thankful. At my behest, Matthew who was well versed in dealing with insurance companies in these important matters handled my claim from start to finish. I believe his handling of the claim was instrumental in getting my provider to take responsibility and pay up. The insurance company approved the claim. Pre-dating the selection of Sloma to complete the project, my wife and I had several conversations with Matthew and the owner in person or by phone to clear up questions we had. They were attentive to our needs and concerns which gave us the confidence to move forward with the transaction. Sloma completed the job in less than two days and my house is over 5000 sq feet. Also was very quick to respond and keep us constantly informed and in the know as to what was happening. He also helped with our HOA approval. After hail storm we contacted Aldo at Sloma. He handled everything with insurance company and got us approved. Can't say enough about Sloma's team. Workers showed up about 6AM to get everything in place and began work as soon as there was enough light. Roof replaced and everything cleaned up by 7pm while I see neighbors having their replacements take 2-3 days. Sloma provides sufficient number of workers to get the job done in one day and Aldo stays on top of the progress. Very happy with our new roof!

We came across Aldo Cabellero from another friend who got his roof replaced and gave a confident review about his work and professionalism.So we decided to try him out and asked him to come out to inspect our roof.The storms that we had early February this year damaged the roof with the hail.Aldo came in to inspect and getting on our roof was not an easy task but he did it and walked us through the wholeprocess of getting in touch with the insurance and was ready for the agent to come out to give us a quote.Our HOA took a lot longer than the insurance.Once we got the approval Aldo was on a roll. He gave us choices of what to choose for the shingles and the color choices. He gave us a good warranty on the labor.He gave us a time frame of when the supplies would arrive and his crew were just amazing. They finished the work as promised and cleaned up after.His crew is amazing with their work and time. Very professional and committed.Seeing us changing our roof my brother who lives a few streets down replaced his within a week. They have completed some big jobs for us including 4 new roofs on 2 story houses, and a 12,000sqft bldg, and small jobs like patching a flat roof. It was exceptional service ! Tim Welsh from Sloma Roofing went beyond to convince Allstate for insurance cover on my roof replacement. With only 6 hour notice, Tim and his team thoroughly inspected and showed the evidence to the insurance adjuster.For comparison, I also asked two other famous roofing companies in Sugar Land / Houston for quotes, one without climbing up the roof told me that insurance would NOT pay and the other one ripped off some old shingles to create fake damage evidence.Tim at Sloma worked hard to help me select top shingle design and function with no extra pay. And they did outstanding jobs on the installation with all details to ensure long-lasting roof. The owner Trey is very professional yet easy to work with, and flexible. I had hail damage on my roof and was able to get the damage covered through insurance, only paying a small deductible.
