This place is awesome! Unlike the big box stores, they have a little of everything and a big selection. Customer service was great. They also have homeware stuff as well! Sour Lake is fortunate to have a general hardware store. Like the town im from, Lowes put the local store out of business and now everyone regrets it.

Always asked if I need help finding something and prices are very reasonable. Saves me a trip all the way to home depot or lowes. Pretty wide variety of items to choose from.

Who doesn't love Ernie's?! A hometown hardware store with so much more. When you walk in the door - you are immediately greeted and asked if you need help. If they don't have what you need in the store, they will probably order it for you. This time I got beautiful hanging baskets, and advice on how to keep them alive (they are still going strong).

Employees are always so helpful and friendly. Shop here often because I live here. It is pricey compared to Beaumont hardware stores, but it beats having to go into Beaumont for one little thing. I will definitely be back!

Today I was beyond disappointed in common human decency. An elderly gentlman on a cane came in and asked to use a restroom because he takes medication. He was told, "That is against our policy!" He said he understood but could he please use the restroom it was an emergency. The blond behind the counter said, "Go across the street to the convience store" This across the street was the 5 line part of 105 in Sourlake...the man was well into his 80s and on a cane. The old man was not allowed to use the restroom and in terrible pain. Today I was disappointed in human kindness, and today your business lost a customer for life. I will not support cruelness with my money.
