I was in need of a metal roof installation at a remote location so I needed someone who was dependable and fair. I searched for roofers close to the house location and reached out to a few. Only one, Castex, responded to my quote request. Hugo, drove the distance to meet us and quote the work. This was a good sign because we don't live at the house location and needed to know we could depend on this contractor. Hugo listened to our wishes and was open to our unique situation. He offered additional solutions to some issues we had which showed us that he knew what he was doing. The quote was very fair and affordable so we went with them. So glad we did because they did a fantastic job. Hugo was very responsive, dependable and did quality work. The other Google reviews were telling the truth. In short outstanding service at a reasonable price. This company came out and did the initial inspection of our roof and we used them to complete the repairs. Their initial inspection was confirmed by our insurance company and they provided a very competitive quote. Very responsive for scheduling or any issues they are having. Castex Roofing company replaced our roof which had some hail damage and also did some other repairs for us. I found them after doing an online search. They had a great website with good information. I contacted Fransico and he listened to our needs, answered all our questions. He provided an estimate and kept in contact with us about our product. Him and his team showed up when they said they would. His team completed the entire project in one day! They were thorough and cleaned up everything. You would never know they were here if it weren't for our beautiful new roof. I highly recommend them!

I highly recommend Castex Roofing. I was needing my roof replaced due to hail damage and went online which a dreaded. Francisco was the first person to call me. He looked at my roof that same day gave me an estimate that fit my budget and the roof was repaired in just 48 hours. He was so good to me and the communication was great and he dealt with the insurance company for me. I highly recommend them for any matters pertaining to your roof. We contacted several roofing contractors to find out what we were looking at to get our roof re-done. Hugo was one of a few who called back. He actually called back within a few minutes. He came out as agreed and called before coming too. He looked at our roof and answered some of our questions and explained a couple of things. We had the insurance come out and look at the roof as well. Hugo came back out a second time and answered a few more questions and submitted a quote shortly after that.After we decided to hire Castex Roofing for the job we contacted him and agreed on a day a few days later to get the roof re-done. The workers came as said early in the morning and were careful with their truck when they drove it through the back yard and close to the house so that they could dispose of the old shingles / roof paper etc. from the roof by throwing them into the truck bed. Since our roof is not so big, they were done by mid afternoon. They also meticulously checked and cleaned up around the house/yard before leaving.This was a refreshing experience and we highly recommend Castex Roofing. Hugo understands that good communication is essential to good business. I had a roof leak around the chimney base. As you can understand, it's very stressful to have a roof leak. I called him and two other roofers yesterday and he is the only one came over this morning. The second one won't be available for 2 weeks and the third one wanted over $200 for an inspection first. Francisco went to the attic to check from inside then went on top of the roof. He spent over one hour on my roof, not only plugged in the leak at the chimney base, but also checked all other roof vents and plugged in any minor cracks. He walked around and inspected the entire roof. Guess, how much was the bill? $0!!! Can you believe it? I could not believe it when he told me that he was not go to charge me. As a professional engineers, I dealt with over 100 contractors in different trades in last 20+ years and this is the first time!!! Thanks again Francisco, you are my hero! I would definitely recommend him to all my friends and neighbors.

At some point, you may fall victim to Mother Nature as I did. I was one of many who experienced extensive damage from the4-26-23 hailstorm in the China Spring area-- roof, gutters, broken glass, and more. If Mother Nature strikes or if you just need a new roof due to age, all you need to do is remember Hugo Castillo, Owner and Project Manager of Castex Roofing Company in Waco, Texas.Most contractors have let me down big time, and you may have had similar experiences. They charged big bucks for a job, did shoddy work, left a mess, and damaged my property in the process. Enter Hugo Castillo and the tide changed. I promise that you will be impressed with him and his company on every level. Nothing (no matter how big, small, or in-between) is left to chance.After the hailstorm, roofing contractors appeared at my door like they were Trick or Treaters on Halloween wanting to and insisting on putting up yard signs and trying their best to make a sell. Some were from out-of-town, and some were from out of state. Three high profile local roofing companies were persistent and wore their welcome out with me. All were eager to make a sell and one company representative resorted to what I perceived to be a scare tactic to get my business. He had assessed my roof and left messages asking, “Just touching base to see if your roof is leaking.” This was a double Red Flag. Either he was not knowledgeable, or he wanted me to hurry up and sign his company’s contract. My roof was badly damaged and needed replaced, but leaking was not imminent. The insurance adjuster had told me this and so did Hugo. Unethical practices to make a buck should alarm anyone. There are ambulance chasers and storm chasers. Roof chasers were new to me. Castex Roofing was NOT one of them.After some time had passed after the hailstorm, I received a mailer from Castex Roofing. I usually discard these without even bothering to read them. This time was different. I read it and was curious to know more. I called and Hugo promptly responded, came to my home, and we visited. From the outset, I was impressed with his authenticity; professionalism; likeability; communication skills; extensive roofing knowledge; many years of experiences starting from the ground up; and with his business and marketing skills including the mailer that got my attention.I just knew that Castex Roofing was the ONE. I could not have made a better choice!! The contract was a single page and did not require any interpretation—simple and to the point. All I had to do was sign it. Everything from start to finish was seamless.Hugo’s ethics, dedication, customer service, and pride in his work were a breath of fresh air. He was prompt with everything including answering calls and texts. He went over and beyond in all respects and even assisted in a non-related chore just to be helpful.This was my first insurance claim, which was a bit intimidating because I didn’t know what to expect. He guided me through this process and explained everything in detail. Now I finally feel insurance literate.The experienced and skilled all local Castex roofers could not have been nicer, friendlier, and more respectful. Hugo was on site throughout the entire process overseeing, inspecting, and updating me on progress. I wonder how many roofing owners also manage their projects. The clean-up by the crew was extensive and thorough, just like it never happened.Bottom Line--My new roof is gorgeous and exceeded my expectations!!Hugo coordinated everything else that needed repair from the storm damage. He uses the most experienced and skilled contractors; they completed repairs in a timely manner and cleaned up after their work. Very pleased with everything!I am so also grateful for everything that Hugo Castillo did in my behalf to make my life simpler during a very challenging time.Castex Roofing in Waco rocks and will be my roofing company for life! These guys go above and beyond when they do a job for you.
