Building is very nice. The staff is great to work with. Although the crews overall did a very good job, I feel like they could use a little more caution. Scratches, dents, etc. Overall, very pleased and would recommend them.

I don’t usually write reviews unless I am sure that the vendor is either awesome or pathetic. It has been my practice to look at reviews before I buy most anything. There are always some who never seem to be happy. I look for reviews that are thoughtful and detailed. I hope this is just such a review. Joey and crews at Five Starr erected a 30 x 50 garage for me almost 2 years ago. I couldn’t be happier. The work was done timely and correctly. The framing crew worked quickly, and the ground was packed well. I have no concrete cracks anywhere. The concrete crew worked with me and helped me to put in the floor drains where I wanted. They also connected my floor slab to my driveway exactly the way I wanted it. The siding crew was also first-rate. The site was cleaned up completely. The insulation contractor that Joey recommended did a fair and fine job of spraying in the closed cell foam. The electrician he suggested was top-notch. The best part is the after-the-sale service. A few days after the first rain, I noticed a few leaks. The guys were there the next day to correct the issue. I asked them if I could have a few matching siding screws. They left me with half a bag. Just yesterday, I had a door failure. Joey promptly sent me the door contact who asked for pictures of the damage and is coming tomorrow to warranty the door. After dealing with these folks, I would never choose to work with anyone else in the area. If you want cheap, don’t use these guys. I am amazed when I read some other reviews...sounds like they were dealing with another builder. If you want a great building and a fair price, Five Starr is it.

Kyle and his crew built us a 30x54 building. We are very pleased with the quality and workmanship of our building. The crew was very professional and left the area clean. We highly recommend Five Starr! They will take care of you afterwards also.

Had a 30x50 shop built. Happy with the work and the materials used. The only thing I would ding them on is service after the sale. If you want updates of when will they start work or finish something up you will have to call. They will not contact you. They are quick to stake off your land and take your deposit and sign the contract but don't expect much contact after that. Also I was never asked are you happy with the shop or even contacted after it was completed. Might seem picky but their customer service skills are lacking. I have recommended them to others but do warn them of this.

They built me a 24’x50’ shop. I see why they are called 5 starr builders, they are great. Guys were very professional throughout the whole build process. Cleaned up all the scrap wood and metal pieces. It took them 3 days in total to build my shop. I was very impressed with the timeline. Everything is arrow straight and level, all the way down to the screws that hold the metal to the framing. Everyone that comes to my house compliments this building. Would highly recommend these guys to anyone. I should have posted this as soon as they built it but that was 4 years ago. Just had someone at my house in my shop and they were very impressed with the way it looks that’s what made me decide to write this 4 years later.

If you’re looking for a place to store your tractor or put up livestock, then maybe they’re OK.If you’re looking for quality with people that take pride in their work, I would highly NOT recommend them!!I must’ve called them over a dozen times to come back out and make repairs that should have never happened. Here’s a list of the problems I had with them.1. Not one pole in my shop was level. Because I was framing out the inside of my shop, I had to move all my interior walls in about 2 inches to compensate for how off the framing was.2. One pole was not set an a line with the others causing a major bow in my wall.3.I had to have them replace every screw on my roof because they used the wrong screws.4. I had to have them come out three different times to replace the trim around my garage door because they kept on slapping up bits and pieces instead of using whole lengths of trim.5. I had to have them reframe a window because it wouldn’t open.6. I had to have them re-frame two doors because they wouldn’t shut.7. They don’t fill the holes around the post entirely with concrete. This is East Texas, wood rots here!8. They over torqued every screw on the building causing major dents in the sheathing.9.Workers are not careful when handling the tin. Workers constantly slammed ladders into the tin causing major scratches and dings.10. They framed all the windows incorrectly by framing all the way up to the window to where it touches the window. Now I have to go back and use a chisel to chip away the wood so I can put my trim in.11. They asked me if I wanted my front porch roof installed at normal height. I said yes and they installed it at 12 feet up in the air. When I asked if they could fix it and drop it down to a normal 8 to 9 foot height, they told me they would but we’re going to charge me an additional $9000 for their mistake.12. When they framed two of my doors, there was a gap over 2 inches wide underneath the door jam allowing the water to run in under the door. I had to go back with shingles to fill the gap and use an entire tube of silicone to stop the water from leaking in.13. There is absolutely no supervision on the site. Workers get in a hurry and slap up whatever so they can get in and out of there.14. Not once did Joey or Kyle (head contractor) ever come to the job site after having had reported these numerous problems.Please do yourself a favor and spend a little extra money and hire professionals and preferably a steel building.I’m still kicking myself for using them and wasting the money that I did

These guys built a quality 30 x 50 for me. Call Joey at Five Starr if you want a great product. Fantastic experience! Don't bother with anyone else. I read some of the other reviews after I posted. If you have any doubts about the building, come look at mine.

Would give 0 stars if possible! Very unprofessional in the way that they treat their employees!There’s no training or safety involved, if you’re hired it’s “here’s a hammer get to work”Then have the audacity to act as if someone is incompetent on what to do.If you cannot treat the people who work for you with respect/kindness (the same people who keep you IN business) then you don’t deserve to run a company! Thumbs all the way down
