While construction can often feel invasive, having strangers in your home, we never felt uncomfortable with any of the contractors and often had very friendly interactions with them. My husband and I have found ABBA General Contracting to do their work with excellence whether the job is as small as installing a lift bar to help my husband who has Parkinson's to get out of bed or as large as putting in a walk-in shower. The owner and workmen have always been personable as well as efficent. We now have a friendship with the owner. His personal interest in us included his following us to our doctor's office when my husband developed severe low blood pressure while Carl was working at our home. Painted the house, replaced a portion of our driveway, installed new fence and gate, installed security cameras.... Everything we had issues tackling on our own they handled. They are polite and amazing and helpful and just the best contractor we have dealt with in Houston. I cannot recommend them enough. If we ever can afford to do more work, i will gladly call them. They did repairs on the soffit and facia around the house. Painted the repaired areas to match. Also repaired our chimney. Removed a tree that was damaging the roof. Replaced all the damaged screens on our home. Workers were on time, did quality work, and were pleasant to deal with. I used ABBA General Contracting LLC having some floors put in after Harvey. After not even 1 year my floor started to tent. I had them come out and Joe stated it was the foundation and another guy looked at Joe. Joe nodded his head to him and the guy agreed. I had it checked, it was not a foundation problem, it was their people put Ceramic tile up against the outside frame, no room to for the tile to breath. I am very disappointed in abba. I continue to try and reach them, they have not returned my call and does not answer.Services: Install flooring, Flooring

ABBA replaced my substandard detached garage with an attached 3 car garage, a mudroom connecting the new garage to my existing house structure, and a screened in back porch. Even though their progress was hampered significantly by the county lockdown due to COVID, they persisted in juggling subcontractor tasks to get the work done. Joe was an outstanding project manager, always on site to direct the work, seek my input, and to advise me where I was unsure (should I use a left or right hung door, should I use a sliding or a double hung window, what color gutters should I choose, etc.). All the subs, including the engineer, framers, carpenters, roofer, and painters were excellent. We had issues with the concrete subcontractor and Joe assured me they will not use him again. Several neighbors in my subdivision have stopped to tell me me how good the addition looks. I had this company do all my tile work and the work looked good, but now that my floor tile started tenting I called them to come and Check on the situation, I was told that I have a foundation problem. I had checked on o see if I did, but I have none. The tile guy put the tile all the way against the outer wall Not giving the tile room to expand and contract.
