Carlos Serrano repaired a section of the exterior stone wall of our home where a narrow crack had formed. I could not be more satisfied with his skill, work ethic, and professionalism, and I will not hesitate to call him if I need a stone mason again.To be clear, Carlos did not simply hide the crack by applying a cosmetic patch. Instead, he removed the stone around the crack, and rebuilt that section using some of the original stone and new stone that perfectly matched the existing wall. During the repair, Carlos discovered the crack probably formed because the original stone had not been properly anchored to the interior framing. So, as he rebuilt that section he anchored it properly. The wall is now stronger and more attractive than it was when the house was built. And he completed the job while standing on our steep roof for hours in 100+ degree heat.
