I highly recommend Elite Roofing. Colin and his team replaced our roof as well as a neighbor next door. Both roofs look awesome! We also had a skylight replaced and add some solar attic fans. Colin’s knowledge and expertise is evident. He’s super communicative and reliable. He also got insurance to cover new gutters because ours were not up to code.Colin is also working with my mother-in-law’s insurance company on getting her insurance to fully cover her roof when they denied full coverage although many roofs in the neighborhood are covered. I can guarantee you will not be disappointed. We met with Colin Hald of Elite Roofing after our roof was damaged due to a serious hail storm. He surveyed the damage and used drone and arial photos to get an accurate estimate for replacing the roof. Colin also worked with our insurance adjuster to help us get a fair claim paid. He stayed in touch with us regarding the time-line for replacing our roof and has stayed in contact since to make sure we are happy and had no problems. Our house is unusual in that it has a 12x12 pitch making it very steep and it is tall. This was not a problem for the roofers. They were very conscientious about cleaning all debris from the damaged roof and anything from the new roof. We also had a skylight that had to be replaced and it fit perfectly. I could say more, but I would recommend Elite Roofing for anyone needing a new roof or roof repair. I sent the below email to the owner of Elite Roofing, regarding one of his representatives. I feel it is necessary to share it with others because finding a reputable roofing company can be a daunting task, and I can relate to this. Please see my letter below and reach out to me with any questions.Hey Colin,I wanted to reach out regarding Tristan and express my absolute appreciation of this fine young man. He has truly represented your company with great distinction and exceptionalism. This is NO joke. I sincerely believe his work ethic buries 99% of the people from his generation. I must commend you as well because I know you saw great potential and took him under your wing. You have done a fine job teaching him about your business and customer service as well as holding him accountable; however, integrity, work ethic, personal drive, and self motivation cannot be taught. Either you have them or not, and Tristan clearly has all of it. His responsiveness to an issue is second to none. As you know, we had a little mishap occur with the vents and inability to use our clothes dryer. After reaching out to Tristan on a Saturday morning regarding our issue, he was at my home within 25 minutes. He had a 2-man crew at the house 45 minutes later, and the situation was fixed within an hour of their arrival. WHAT DO YOU SAY TO THAT?!?!?!?!? I challenge ANYONE to find a company who will respond, on a SATURDAY mind you, with the same exigency AND resolve the issue. Simply, you will not find one because they will push you off until Monday. They already received their money, so they can take their time. NOT your company. It is clear Elite Roofing lives up to its name beyond others. Heck, Tristan showed up, by himself, on a Friday at 6:00 p.m., in order to pick up the old gutters in my front yard. And, it was his girlfriend's birthday. I'm still aggravated at him for not telling me because I would have prevented him from showing just to spend the time with her. I just can't express enough gratitude to have Tristan on the front line of your company. Listen, sitting down and taking the time to write this on a Sunday afternoon should speak volumes to you. It is not something I do unless someone goes WAY above and BEYOND my expectations. It does NOT happen unless I see great qualities and feel something positive about a person or company. This is coming from a 51 year old, 24 1/2 year retired cop with great instinct and believes in accountability and professionalism. You and Tristan have it! I highly recommend Elite Roofing and Restoration to anyone in need of a new roof. I was referred to them by the Dripping Springs Neighbors page on Facebook, and I am glad I contacted them.Colin Hald, the owner of Elite Roofing and Restoration, came to my house to survey the roof damage and to determine if I had a valid insurance claim. He was very thorough and professional, and he explained everything to me in detail. He was also very patient with my questions and concerns.Once Colin determined that I had a claim, he met the insurance adjuster to show him the hail damage. He even came out to my house 15 minutes before the adjuster arrived and chalked up the roof to highlight the damaged areas.Working with the adjuster, they determined that I needed a new roof, including new gutters and window screens. They even surveyed the metal roof on my workshop.After working with Colin on shingle choices, the tear-off and replacement was scheduled. The new roof was installed in one day, and the gutters went on a couple of days later. Elite also provided the gutters. I upgraded the window screen to solar screens, but I used a separate provider for that.The new roof, gutters, and window screens gave the house a facelift. My wife and I are very happy with the results!Colin was easy to work with throughout the entire process. He promptly answered my phone calls, texts, and emails. He was also very responsive to any of my concerns.I highly recommend Elite Roofing and Restoration to anyone in need of a new roof. Worst company to work with by far. The owner is a piece of work and fails to communicate or respond. He overcharges immensely and back logs getting your easy roof fix done by 6+ months. Seems nice and willing to help but will leave you high and dry and with more roof damage then you’re started with. Having to deal with insurance and getting a new roof generally sucks. We had to go through the process last year and went with Elite based on online recommendations. It was painless and seamless. They dealt with the insurance when they tried to lowball us and their communication was great. The roof looks beautiful and the follow up from Colin and Tristan has been terrific. After we got our roof done two neighbors across the street got theirs done with Elite based on my recommendation/experience. Hope this helps somebody cut through the noise of opportunistic non-local people that come knocking after a storm.
