If I could give negative stars I’d give a negative a million. Don't shop there saw an employee name Jake assault a customer. They are crazy and some girl named Michelle is on her phone 24/7 even when helping customers. Manager apparently has favorites because she hires drunks will report to better business for terrible customer service considering that most the employees ignore customers to go out to smoke. Store is a mess and completely disgusting. They never clean and 99% of food is expired in a day. Be careful and check your dates. Be careful if you are also a woman I’ve heard that guy say some pretty gross stuff about women on the phone and at work, even in the parking lot. Some store just needs to be shut down. This place is the most disrespectful and dangerous place to shop.

Usually has what's needed however finding it may be a challenge. Store is dirty, unorganized & stuff thrown wherever. And the restrooms...🤢don't even get me started on those.Employees are either helping customers @ the register, standing around talking w/ eachother, talking on their phones or out front smoking. When I'm in there trying to find what I need I don't want to hear about how bad the employees lives are, who is sleeping w/ who or why the government cut them off all their benefits & especially in their choice expletives they use...everyone has stressful stuff going on however very few of us bring it into our work places & talk loud enough about it so our customers etc can hear it. Anyway, it would just be nice to be able to run in quickly, find what u need, pay for it & leave in a timely manner.I've been to several Family Dollar stores & not all of them are as terrible as the Gunnison Ut & Salina Ut locations.

Store closes early every time some blonde and tweeter work. Of course the always are smoking outside when I come in and they leave others to do all the work by themselves I feel bad for the rest of the staff who are actually good to customers. This store is a complete waste of land. Don’t go there if you want good quality even if it’s cheap it’s never worth it.

Decent store I’d you need something fast. Customer service isn’t definitely not the best. I tried calling ahead to make sure they had what I needed and nobody answered. I called 3 times.

As far as the upkeep, it's not great, but it could be worse. Everything else here is a joke, customer service isn't a characteristic most of the girls that work here have. They're always talking on their personal phones and literally answer personal calls in the middle of transactions, then continue to scream their conversation for the whole store to hear, it's honestly distasteful. I don't know how no one from corporate has put a stop to it yet. They have extremely bad attitudes, if they don't want to be there they should find a different job that doesn't involve customer service.

The guy who works there was complaining about how much work he had to do. He was complaining about the other employees. When I mentioned that every time I went there, the employees were outside smoking, he became upset and started yelling at me that they had every right to smoke outside.Then, he actually turned around and started telling another customer what a b**** I was. When I started to check out, he came up to the checkout stand, stood behind the cashier and very threateningly glared at me. He was obviously trying to intimidate me.This store used to be wonderful when Bonnie was manager, however, it's gone so far downhill that most of the time I go to a different Family Dollar.The previous time I went in, when I started to check out, the cashier was on the phone with a personal call, obviously arguing with her husband/boyfriend/whatever. She never put the phone down, but kept talking the entire time and, when the total came, she merely pointed at the price instead of even saying anything.I'm not sure if these stores are independently or corporate owned, however, the employees here need to be replaced because they're so rude. The store is also very messy with boxes in the middle of the aisles and so narrow that often I have to back out of an aisle and go down a different one to even get to the products that I'm trying to find. All in all, a very unpleasant experience. AND that guy needs to be told that he shouldn't be staring down and bullying customers. He needs to be replaced immediately. He's scary.

This store has went down hill fast!! It’s a complete DISASTER!!! The workers have their dogs in there and stock is all over in boxes. You can’t get down the isles because they are a mess! Things are not where they’re supposed to be it’s just thrown wherever! The workers are to busy doing their own thing to worry about the store or their customers. It’s to bad the main office don’t do a surprise visit. Everyone would be out of a job there. Wait that might be a good thing maybe we could get our store back!!!

Many great things to say about this store, from the staff to the inventory particularly the manager heather and amber, they are always working hard in the store and will often go out of their way to be polite, I've never walked into the store when they were there and had a bad experience. If only they had an abundance of sour starburst gummies, the food trucks cant keep up with my demand.

The store is a BIG mess and the cashiers are rude. They make rude remarks about what you are buying and the freight is stacked everywhere. I have went in three times to but dog treats and they are out but there is boxes of them to put out. Cashiers either sitting do nothing or outside smoking. It has went down hill fast

Store is always super messy... Employees are not friendly and do not show any kind of good customer service. Not impressed at all ! I feel uncomfortable going there, and until they hire some better people and clean things up, I won't be going back .

What a MESS!! What happened to this place? It used to be clean and organized, now it looks like a bomb went off in there! I don't live in Gunnison, so it's been awhile since I'd been in there. I was shocked, and not in a good way. It looks like nobody puts anything where it belongs and then at the checkout they push soda pop or water to "help them meet their goal"? Really? Clean your dang store and have some pride! You might "meet your goal" by attracting customers! I don't know what happened there, but it's nothing good!

Not really a dollar store. They have great things here but not a lot of stuff at the really cheap end. Lots of stuff in the 5-10 dollar range in electronics.

Night staff are horrible. They help you only when they feel like it. They'll let you stand at the check-out while they do their thing right in front of you.

Has great deals but it is disorganized, hard to find things, and you cant take a cart through most if any of the isles without running into something.
