In late August, I was helping my daughter’s family move from OR to CO. On a downhill stretch of I-70 the SUV I was driving overheated, but I was able to coast in to the only rest stop in the area. K & K Automotive towed us straight to Otten Auto works where Danny stopped what he was doing, replaced the broken engine belt, added fluids, charged a reasonable fee, and got us back on the road. Great professional and compassionate treatment! Highly recommend this shop!Service: Engine repair

They are thorough and do quality work. The wait time was reasonable, the waiting room could use seating with a place to put a drink. I know now I’m being picky. The price of an oil change is reasonable but the cost of fixing a slow leak in a tire was a little high. They could add a complete lube and fluid fill with oil change. I would be really happy then. They are professional and proficient. A good place to have your car or truck repaired.

Had them fix my truck. I knew the problem and they verified. They also found another problem i had suspected. They fixed it as well. Both jobs were very labor intensive. The turnaround time was almost a week. Great job, very knowledgeable, and a very competitive price.

Had my car towed there after major engine failure. They diagnosed the problem and then towed it to the dealership since it was covered under warranty.So I can't speak on the quality of work but the diagnosis was spot on.They were super friendly and helpful!.

This business saved us while driving through Gunnison to go camping. We ended up broken down on the side of the road, and an amazing technician came to us, diagnosed the problem. He went the extra mile to get us on our way by taking the part we needed of one of his personal vehicles and installed it on the side of the road. We are extremely grateful for that technician and Otten Auto Works. We 100% recommend this place to everyone.

Damian,,, I cannot thank you enough... !!!! Was passing through on my way elk hunting, truck lost power, all guagrs showed nothing abnormal. Check engine light came on..... I called you to see if you could help me out, you told me to swing in... I pulled up 5 minutes later and you basically met me in the front,,,, ran a diagnostic test, popped the hood, pulled the air filter, ,,, which had seen better days,,, ordered a new air filter from across town, put er in, and voila!!!! Just like new..... you folks from that are are spoiled,,, if the same thing would've happened in salt lake,,, they would've had me park it, leave the keys, and pick it up tomorrow.. 😆🤣😂....Thanks again, would recommend you to anyone..Service: Auto engine diagnostic
