**DOT NOT USE SATTERWHITE** Brett was horrendous to work with. We ordered an awning package in May. Brett told us it would take 4-6 weeks. It took 15 weeks. I understand wood shortages; but the communication was non-existent. I would call for periodic updates. He would tell me that he didn't know what order I was talking about or wouldn't go look for it. He said on at least 7 occasions over the last 4 months that he would call myself or my contractor back with an update. He never called. We always had to call him and deal with his attitude. He was always short and rude on the phone; like he doesn't enjoy his profession. He was given the measurements of the awning. He assured my contractor that he had an equation to figure the amount of material needed for the T&G roof decking, to include waste. It was a 540 square foot deck. He sold us 1300 square feet of decking. I was overcharged $864. After talking to him about HIS mistake, he was still unaccommodating. He told me to drive the remaining decking back, which is 6 hours round trip for me. He then told me he would schedule a truck to pick up the remaining decking. He then emailed my contractor telling him that it was my contractor's fault that Brett doesn't how to do math. I haven't heard from him for a week. With that I contacted his supervisor, Sam. Sam, while much nicer than Brett, was also unaccommodating, saying that I would have to spend a day and $100 on gas to drive the remaining lumber back to Gunnison; which is not worth the $864 refund. In addition to the horrendous customer service; half of the T&G decking had been left in the sun for sometime; as it was warped. We had to fight it the entire time during assembly. Satterwhite Log Homes were absolutely horrific to work with. The amount of unprofessionalism and obtuse ineptitude was disappointing and stressful. I recommend no one do business with them.

$1,200 in damages to my equipment while loading logs for these people and they tell me, “oh well you’re from Wyoming, so you must be used to it.”Pure Ignorance.
