Root Homes has done a few of projects for us over the past year. New concrete pad and fence, remodeled both guest and master bath with smart shower and custom lighting. Then a complete exterior remodel. new roof, new windows, board and batten and stucco. All was managed in a professional and excellent way. Communication was great and all the sub contractors were managed well. We have future plans for a kitchen remodel and plan to use Root Homes. They make sure the job is done and everything is perfect. Highly recommend them!

We hired Root Homes for a commercial project to finish a large percentage of our basement space. We also decided to remodel the existing space on the top level at the same time. The opportunity to work with Ronnie and his teams of contractors has been all positive in every way. The project was finished with everything to our satisfaction and the workers went above all expectations. Ronnie was wonderful to work with. We had him remodel our whole main level which entailed demolition of archways, pillars, and a wall, building a custom wall, new flooring, paint, counter tops, lighting, new stair railing, and building a custom locker/mud room area. Ronnie listened to our ideas and brought them to life. He is very detailed, thorough, and professional. He kept our project on the exact timeline he discussed with us. We hired Ronnie at Root Homes to do a complete remodel. This include demolition of walls, removal of archways, flooring, painting, cabinetry, casing, baseboards, shiplap (you get the idea). I am a difficult client-to say-the least and the fact that I am giving him a five star rating and a glowing review is something.He helped us develop and design a plan. This part was a bit intimidating for us but he made it easy. He is a unique builder who has an eye for design and the attention to detail to execute. Most contractors, in my experience, are skilled at executing on plans designed by others. Ronnie can do both design and execution. We joked with him that he laid out his tools like a surgeon.Ronnie provided us with a detailed project plan prior from the very beginning. He itemized everything and gave a price for each line item. Most importantly, there were absolutely no surprises in terms of cost. He communicated with us every step of the way about timelines and budgets.The quality of the work in all phases was excellent. If we had concerns, he addressed them quickly and professionally. He always met or exceeded our expectations. His subcontractors are excellent and Ronnie was always there to oversee their work.After completion, he went over the final bill and there was absolutely no surprises. He wasn't the cheapest (or most expensive), but the value (price + quality) was completely worth it.Finally, and this might sound trivial, but he was in our home almost every day for 3 months. He was clear about when he would be there and worked around our schedule (we both work from home). He was easy to have around.I could not recommend Ronnie and Root Homes more highly--if there were six stars--he would have earned that.
