This place rocks. Showed up 8am when the office opened and got my card and was loaded and on the road in 30 min!Awesome service, loaded me right to where I wanted, loader operator was fantastic! The salt is a little sticky to unload but it came out in a timely manner at my unload destination.

We took a few big rocks (thanks again) and have shared them galore with friends and helping to make others believers in this incredible salt. By far, best on the planet-chefs and salt snobs alike agree. Great for the family, kids, chefs who want to better source ingredients, farmers who use it for their cattle. WOW!

Everything you didn't know about salt mining and for kicks the ability to shoot sticks of dynamite. The mine is so large you drive a bus holding at least a dozen people down 500 feet. The walls, the floor the ceiling are all pink salt. The air revitalizes the lungs. As an added bonus to our group we had some fun shooting at sticks of dynamite and watching a canon fire 16 pound bowling bowls. Nothing to do with salt but seriously had a "blast"

This place was great.only 1 hour from check in, to scale out on outbound. The scales are quite accurate. Only 40 lbs different on gross between theirs and the cat scale 7miles down the road at the loves. Hit drive 3 to check in with your dry van.call the number posted on the sign and follow easy directions. It's that simple. Set your dandems where you would like them before empty weigh and they try to load the weight based on where your axles already are. Tow motor man was quite nice and did a excellent job on me.

Top-notch company with professional staff. We were invited to a dealer conference here, and really enjoyed our visit and our tour of the mine. The guy was very informative and explained how the mining is done. After we were all done, we got to go to their shooting range and try to shoot sticks of dynamite with high powered rifles. Talk about the ultimate exploding target!

Picked up a load there...got there at lunch time and only waited 20 minutes...forklift driver(toonie) was great and very experienced on how to load and correct weight distribution..they have a scale on site and scaled correct the first time..everyone I meet was very friendly..thanks to all

A great big shootout to the Redman Salt Mine. The Wayne County senior citizens had a fabulous day with Kyle, our tour guide. He led 2 groups into the mine. He was very knowledgeable having spent 38 years in the mine. Thank you for your hospitality and I hope we can do this tour again.

Just learned of this place from HeavyDSparks on YouTube. This place looks absolutely fascinating and they have retail stores to purchase their products which are made from salt they mine. If I can make it out west I would definitely like to check it out in person.

Easy loading. In and out in 1.5hrs. Go in first gate, park, and walk to the office to check in. They'll give you very clear instructions.
