Jenkins Restoration came to knock on my door on the same day my house caught fire. They started to work on my house, putting boards on windows without my approval. A few days later, after my family was released from the hospital, their salesmen met us in the hotel and began telling us everything we wanted to hear, saying a lot of good things about Jenkins Restoration. He was very convincing, but they did everything to secure my house reconstruction contract. Over the course of one year, which is how long it took them to finish rebuilding my house, three different project managers oversaw the construction. They were disorganized and dysfunctional. Each time the project manager changed, my house construction paused and communication with the previous manager was lost, creating a difficult environment between me and them. Their general manager, Brian Asbury, was arrogant and out of touch when I started to complain about their poor performance, lack of customer service, and empathy for my family. My house construction was supposed to take 6 months to complete, but it took them a year. Even after a year, I had to rush to move in because my insurance didn't want to cover my rental house any longer. Jenkins Restoration never fully completed my house, and in the end, I had to settle with them to move on with my life. Here is my advice: if you hire Jenkins Restoration or anyone else, study the work scope approved by your insurance for your home. Jenkins Restoration added many extra demands to my home work scope, which my insurance company approved for thousands of dollars, but they never completed the work. They used cheap materials for my house, including flat paint, to save money for themselves. Be involved in the materials purchasing for your house, as they only hire low-paying contractors, many of whom don't speak English. Jenkins Restoration prioritizes money over customer care. Additionally, when they are counting your personal belongings, be present and take pictures of each item. Contractors from Jenkins Restoration who counted my belongings stole many items from my house, including electronics and tools from my garage. They also scratched my brand new $3000 Samsung refrigerator and refused to replace it. To ensure the money approved by your insurance for house construction is properly used, know what is in the work scope and make sure everything is completed as listed. If not, make a claim as it is your money. If you are not familiar with the work scope, they may take advantage of you and not complete the work as approved by your insurance. My experience with Jenkins Restoration was awful, and I do not recommend them. If diversity is important to you, note that Jenkins Restoration does not exemplify this value, as they are dishonest and lack diversity, consisting of only one race of greedy individuals.

Jenkins Restorations was terrific to work with. We had a tree fall on our roof and destroy half of the upstairs. The staff at Jenkins was professional and a great calming influence - helping us through a very stressful situation. They worked with our insurance and county inspectors, provided helpful recommendations and employed equally competent subcontractors. The work was done on budget and 6 weeks ahead of estimates. The site manager Rich Shelton was wonderful to work with. We would definitely use Jenkins again if we ever need a remodeling company in the future.

My family and I went through a house fire in December 2022. Everyone was safe, thankfully, but we were out of our home for six months. It was an incredibly disruptive and stressful experience, but our work with Jenkins was the one piece that was as smooth as we could have hoped for. All the folks at Jenkins were kind, helpful, and empathetic about the experience, which helped us deal with the shock in the few days after the fire. Andrew Jenkins and Mike Sauer were the project leads in repairing our home and getting us back as quickly as possible, and we could not have hoped for the whole process to have gone more smoothly. My family and I are deeply grateful for their efforts and professionalism in getting us home.

After water damage to my home, Matt oversaw the repairs which included testing for asbestos, replacing the floors, and repairing and painting the ceiling and walls. I appreciated his willingness to listen to my concerns, answer my questions, and to keep everything running smoothly.Wilmer has done painting and other tasks for me. We went with Jenkins Restorations after we found black mold in our master bathroom. It was a total gut and rebuild so we decided to make the bathroom just the way we wanted it. I selected all the materials and supplied them myself, and Chad was so helpful along the way when I had questions about materials. They really helped me make the image I had in my head a reality. We are absolutely beyond happy. I recommend Jenkins Restorations to anyone. We had a house fire and because of all the damage the house had to be taken down to the studs and rebuilt. We chose Jenkins Restoration. We worked with Mike Peters and Andrew Jenkins, and they were with us every step of the way. They worked with our insurance company and kept up to date on everything that needed to be done and when they were doing it. They answered all my questions and were very responsive. I highly recommend Sean Cantrell, our project leader. Our project was a house remediation and reconstruction post fire. My service person was Wilmer Medina and I had a great experience. We had an issue during the initial water restoration that required some extra work, and took longer time due to folks scheduled and holidays. Wilmer was professional, courteous, patient, and reliable. He had to work with a couple of my neighbors in the condo building too. He was available and tried to make sure to accommodate everyone's schedules. And I think did a nice job across all the work necessary.

My family experienced a fire in our 1940s home. The county determined that our electrical system had to be replaced. This meant gutting the interior of the home and replacing everything! Jenkins Restorations helped us every step of the way with knowledgeable and patient guidance. Mike Sauer, the large loss cost estimator did a great job communicating with us and helping us make decisions regarding overall expenses. Andrew Jenkins, our project manager quickly responded to our questions and led us to vendors he has worked with for years to make choices on kitchen cabinets, flooring, bathroom tile and more. He was excellent at timing the project including scheduling the work crews and having us make selections and purchases when needed. His customer service skills are outstanding. He has expert knowledge of all aspects of restoring a home and what makes all the systems work. We easily passed all county inspections because of his efforts. The results were spectacular. After a recent flooding inil ident caused by a broken pipe while we were out of town, our plumber recommended Jenkins Restoration. I called to get started on the water and mold mitigation process and was assigned Keyven and Ali as my mitigation team. The were extremely responsive and made a great team and made me feel like I was in good hands right from the start. They were professional and personable which put me right at ease which I really need during this stressful time. They explained all steps of the process as they went through educating me on the water mitigation steps and they never made me feel like I was asking too many questions and explained everything thoroughly. They worked well in conjunction with my insurance adjuster and made sure all the bases were covered. When I had concerns they listened and addressed them completely. Now that the mitigation phase is done and we’re moving into the repair phase I feel like we are well positioned to recover from my flooding. We contracted with Jenkins Restorations after a major townhouse fire which required a rebuild. This occurred during COVID so there were delays with sourcing materials (roof trusses, flooring, windows) but Jenkins kept us informed every step of the way. They also worked with us to incorporate changes to the floor plan and were very helpful with some of these decisions. Brian Catts was the lead and managed expectations very well. He helped work with our insurance adjuster to answer any questions. He was also quick to manage any problems with sub-contractors so potential issues were addressed and corrected immediately. Jenkins Restorations was a preferred partner with my insurance company. From our initial meeting in October to the project completion the Jenkins team (shout out to my contract PM Amy, she's awesome!) was responsive and timely with their repairs. We had a kitchen leak that led to our entire kitchen cabinets and living room flooring being replaced in addition to the floor in the basement that was under our kitchen. They did such a great job coordinating the rebuild that we also used them to install additional kitchen cabinets and countertops. Jenkins Restorations is a contractor you can trust with all your building repair and rebuilding needs. They were timely and did high quality work. It was due to Jenkins Restorations that our stress due to the fire damage was completely erased.They make the process very smooth and dealt with the insurance directly on estimates etc. so it was easy to get that approved as well.Besides that everything was taken care of in a timely manner and the quality of workmanship was excellent.Andrew Jenkins and Mike Peters were excellent and so was their entire team. This is the contractor that will lie to you, waste three months of your time, fail to include the basic items in scope, and try to get you to sign a contract where you pay out 3x penalties out of pocket for the items they were supposed to scope as included by the insurance company. When you ask why they aren’t doing what the promised, they never respond. Run away as fast as you can.

We had a huge tree that fell on our house and took out most of the front of our house. Jenkins assisted us with the restoration process. PM Andrew Jenkins is communicative and professional, and he is pretty hands-on as well throughout the entire process. Andrew was also very patient in answering all the questions and concerns that we had. Additionally, Andrew made sure that we kept moving forward in this process. I also want to mention Mike Peters, the estimator who came out right after the damage. Mike was thorough in his work and also very patient in addressing our concerns. My husband and I are pleased with the restoration, and would highly recommend the Jenkins team.

Jenkins Restorations was the preferred partner with my insurance company (the advantage is that payments go direct from the insurance company to Jenkins and the project management is handled by Jenkins - tremendous advantages when one is living through a disaster). Sean Cantrell, who managed the project, and his team did a beautiful job repairing our home. Our home suffered a flood from the third floor bathroom that was labelled "catastrophic" as it damaged all three levels of our home. We needed to move out for about 2.5 months. During that time, Sean communicated with me on a regular basis. Provided reports every Friday to the insurance company cc to us so we understood exactly where the project stood. If I had questions, Sean would find the answers. Going through a disaster like this is extremely stressful, but Sean and Christian Lugbill, who was in charge of packing up all of our contents/personal property and storing it, were extremely professional, communicative, and made me feel that I had a lifeline back to our normal life. This 5 star review is specifically for the water mitigation team , Seth and Tyler. They were great. Water damage from leak in my wall occurred when I was out of the country creating a major issue as I travel for job but had to work from home while trying to resolve the leak which required being on phone often. Seth and Tyler were very respectful of my time, letting me know when they would arrive and communicating any delays. They even tried to minimize noise levels when they knew I was on calls. Even when they had to start the demolition of the wall and flooring I hardly noticed they were here. Both men and a third gentleman I did not catch the name of were professional and kind to me. They tried to guide me through the process when I was not getting responses from insurance and other departments. Thank you to them for that kindness during a difficult process.I cannot give a review on the restoration process as I gave up waiting on that piece and decided to just move forward on my own. Delays with responses from my insurance adjuster, communication issues with 3rd parties, holiday weekend involved, my being left out of emails containing estimates/ information regarding my claim sent to insurance company, lack of documentation I requested being sent to me and responses to my concerns when I got erroneous confusing documentation seemingly treated as irrelevant became too frustrating to deal with anymore.My insurance company probably is responsible for the majority of the negativity and delays that surrounded the repair project but Jenkins could have done some improvement. Should have put Seth and Tyler on it!! LOL Overall though I would still recommend Jenkins and If I came into a similar situation again I would try them again with the knowledge the insurance company caused so much delay. We had Jenkins here for water remediation. Kevyan was our lead and he was great! The team was efficient and thorough. We even had some stubborn sub-flooring under tile that wouldn’t dry. Kevyan worked very hard to first dry it out then when it became necessary he pulled out the tile. Through his many visits to our house he was pleasant and kind. Over the Christmas Holidays, while out of town visiting family, we had a house sitter taking care of our home. Unfortunately, she didn't do such a good job. Fast forward, we came home to catastrophic water damage from an upstairs toilet that had continued to run unchecked. When we returned home and called our insurance company, they recommended Jenkins Restorations. Jenkins' representative (Mike) was on the phone with me that day. Mike scheduled a visit and was very thorough and professional. All of the work was completed within a reasonable time frame. Every aspect of the job, from the movers that packed our belongings, the gentlemen that did drywall repairs and painting and finally the hardwood floors that were sanded and refinished, was done with great care and attention to detail. We are extremely pleased with the end result. Our home is beautiful again.
