House Doctors just adjusted multiple interior doors that didn’t close/latch properly and installed two large window shades for me. One shade installation required diagnosing a problem and moving existing brackets, while the other required modifying some trim prior to installation. The process of getting an estimate and scheduling was very easy. The guys were professional and did a great job. Will be using this company again soon for other jobs. Highly recommend.

This is the first time I engaged the services of House Doctors Handyman of McLean. And, given this experience, I plan to engage them again and again. Our house is a bit old and there are many opportunities for repairs to the house. I think I have finally found a good company I can trust to make excellent repairs on those type of "handyman jobs" and repairs that do not require a complete reconstruction (although these Doctors might do those, too). In this instance, I had a hole in the ceiling drywall that needed to be repaired because of a leak. The leak was fixed, but the plumber does not fix ceilings. Enter House Doctor Benjamin Carrillo. He did a fantastic job. You cannot tell that there was ever a hole in that ceiling. And he left the area so clean afterwards; no debris left behind. Excellent work!

House Doctors just finished a small bathroom renovation job for us, and the experience was excellent from start to finish. The crew (Mauricio, Miguel, and Benjamin) did top notch work with great attention to detail. They were highly professional, friendly, and courteous. They were always punctual and communicated very well every step of the way. The owner, Rich, and the Office Manager, Angela, were always responsive and super professional as well. They even came back to adjust a small item after the job was done! Clearly, customer service is their top priority. We have had several visits from Home Doctors, all excellent results. From adding an additional shelf in a kitchen utility closet to lowering a closet hanging rod half a foot, all work is professionally done by courteous technicians. Today I had Rich come by to give me an estimate on repairing a dishwasher cabinet cover. He managed to fix the problem himself without having to schedule one of his guys to come out to actually do the job. Happy customer, will continue to use to use for future projects.

Starting from the initial consultation set up to the work being completed, everything went very smoothly and everyone we dealt with was extremely professional. Hector was very helpful and communicative during the estimate process and while I don’t recall the names of the gentlemen who came to install our office door, they were courteous and very dedicated to their job. They even stayed late to finish the work on their last day scheduled and did not rush- the project was meticulously completed. The estimator came on time, discussed all aspects of 3 projects, provided a detailed written estimate showing labor and materials. He advised that my picking up certain materials would save their markup and provided the links to order. A two-man crew appeared at the agreed upon time, discussed each job briefly to make sure we were on the same page, efficiently worked together to add lattice panels to our deck to prevent our small puppy from falling through. They then fixed some cupboard doors that needed adjusting and installed a new exterior light fixture. Work was completed on time, competently, politely, and using the safety precautions I requested. Because the exterior light had a sensor and was installed during the day, we weren’t able to test it. It seemed not to be working the next day. I called at 9 am, and they had someone out to check it within half an hour who was able to test and demonstrate that the system was working in about 10 minutes. Excellent responsive customer service and showed that the original installation was properly done. I will use them again.Service: Deck repair

My wife and I had House Doctors of McLean perform a fairly substantial restoration of our 20’ x 6’ portico and we couldn’t be more pleased with the results. Our project required both structural repairs to the aged and dated Victorian-style vertical supports; as well as functional upgrades to the ceiling/eaves. Given we live in an end-unit row home, we also worked with their foreman, Hector, to design a custom semi-privacy screen between us and our neighbor’s unit; the result was better than we hoped and blended well into the exiting home design. Hector is easy to work with and the team assigned to our project, Jacob and Mauricio, were excellent. They showed up on time each day and got the entire project done in a week. The improvement not only extends our outdoor living space but also provides a much-enhanced curb appeal to our property (not to mention needed structural repair).
