Our furnace went out completely, this was a couple of weeks ago when the temp was down around 10 deg. We called Mike's Service & Repair and worked with Nathan, he was very responsive. We had a couple of quotes on a replacement, very pricey and long estimates on installation. Nathan went right out to our house, assessed the situation, found us a deal on a new Rudd furnace, he quoted a much better price. We needed a replacement for 20 year old heat pump, got a few estimates and Mike's had the best price for a quality product. The two installers arrived right on time and really went out of their way to make sure we were happy with the service and the product. They gave us a two year warranty on labor, (besides the ten year warranty on the heat pump) so they stand behind their work. I woke up with no heat and called super early. A live person answered the phone and set a time window of when they would be by. They showed up in that window. Nathan with his apprentice/helper were very helpful, respectful, and answered all my questions. They even observed COVID precautions, which I appreciated. They went out of their way to get my heat back on, absolutely more than they were required to do. They even gave me a lesson in how the HVAC works, which being a new home owner was much appreciated. Recommended to objectively inspect our heat pump just before the end of the home builder's warranty. Complete, thorough, system OK. Two months later compressor stopped, no AC. Thermostat set right, no warning lights, circuit breakers OK. Mike's crew traced the obscure, "one-in-a-thousand" cause. The slots in the breaker panel's front cover were slightly misaligned, just enough to over time (past the warranty, of course) push a circuit breaker out of position and intermittently cut power to the outside compressor, without tripping the breaker. Brilliant--a lot cheaper than the logical next steps: recharging the coolant or replacing the compressor.

Mike's Repairs are now my go-to heating and A/C guys! We called Nathan in once in the summer for an A/C fault and once in the winter for a heating problem. Both times they were out either the same day or the next day and fixed the problem quickly. You can tell these are hard working guys! The thing I like most is that Nathan is very good at explaining the issue, he will show you the faulty parts and let you know exactly how they went wrong so you will end up feeling very confident that he has done a good job. Highly recommended!

Came to fix a switch on my tub, said it was no problem and just needed to order a part. He said he'd call me on Monday (would have been 4 days later) It's been a month now and 35 phone calls. He keeps giving me actual days he's coming and then just doesn't. He told me on Tuesday that he'd come by Friday. I called at 5p to confirm and he said he was on his way. Didn't show yet again. Repeated phone calls this evening were, of course, unanswered. Don't call this guy!

Nathan was super helpful in diagnosing a problem with our AC/thermostat. Friendly, knowledgeable, and gave us great insider advice about which parts and local retailers are the best for the supplies we need to maintain the system. Definitely not one to overcharge or over-sell on services. Highly recommended.

Came in to work this morning and there was no heat! Called Mike's Repair and Nathan answered at 7:30 AM! He came out before noon and got everything back to working fine...Thanks Nathan for the quick service.We have been using Mike's Repair & Service for many years and have always had great service from this local family owned business.

The 1st time I used this company, they messed up my thermostat. They came back and fixed it for free. I have another issue so I thought I would call them again. It is Friday morning. Christmas eve is on Monday so I know I need to get someone in. I call and he states he will be here between 2pm and 5pm. 5pm comes and I havent heard from them. I call him and he states they are running behind but they will be here. 8pm comes around....they are still not here. I call and leave a message. I wake up Saturday morning and call at 8am. I am told to find someone else to fix it. I was just a work-in and they don't have time. Well if you had been honest on Friday, I could have called someone else. Now I have called someone else and I am going to pay double for the service call because it is after hours and on top of that, I haven't had heat for 2 days!!!! Poor customer service. Very disappointing.

Nathan came out right before scheduled time and did a fantastic job on start up our furnace. He was very polite and explained all to us. So we are set for winter.

Came out 7/24 to look at unit that wasn’t working. Said he had to order part. I called again after not hearing from him and he said he was picking up the part that day and scheduled to come out 8/21 (month later) and again no show no call. Called him again and scheduled to come out 9/5 and again no show no call. I called him again this morning and told him I am done with him I will find another company.
