SmartRoof got our insurance company to cover the hail damage to our 19 year old roof when other companies failed to deliver. Every aspect of the job was well planned out and we felt very comfortable having them lead the way. The job was completed in time and looks great. No damage to my screens, bushes, or exterior. Out of the possible 30,000 nails that come off an old roof, I found only 2 around my yard. The workmanship was excellent and I appreciate the care they took to clean up. Our onsite supervisor, Jairo was excellent and kept me informed. David, who did the initial inspection was top notch and documented damage missed by the insurance inspector ensuring the maximum payout from the insurance company. I would highly recommend this company for a pain free experience.

No one looks forward to replacing their roof but doing it with Smart Roof makes it a much easier process. I started the process with Chris, with a reference from a friend. He did a great job of explaining things and worked very closely with my insurance company to make sure everything was processed properly. If I had any questions I could ask him and he explained everything. He even stopped by during the work to see how everything was going.Jeremy was the second person I worked with who helped me get the best value for the replacement roof and a few extras that I wanted for upgrades. No one likes a hard sale and Jeremy made this process very easy and professional.Finally, Jonathan was the project manager who made sure that everything worked properly during the day of installation and did a final inspection with me to make sure that it was completely clean and the work was conducted professionally. I was very pleased with how he made sure I was comfortable with the final result.The team who put the roof on worked swiftly and professionally. I don't foresee any problems. I strongly endorse them if you're trying to get your roof replaced because it's just time or you had hail damage like I did.

Nathan Jerge and the team at SmartRoof were so wonderful to work with. We had hail damage and shingles no longer on the market. They worked with our insurance company to get a full roof replacement, and we chose to re-do the gutters with a larger size and covers. We had such a great experience with SmartRoof from start to finish! It started with Donnie Ware who stopped by and offered to check our hail damage of our 20 year old roof. We had 2 bad hail storms and he was really on the ball. He worked well with our insurance agent and provided everything they needed for an immediate approval. The design for our roof and the actual work was so professional and amazingly fast. They seemed so thorough to protect our deck and things near the roof and also in their cleanup. We added extra gutter work and aluminum cover and they completed it reasonably and well. We are delighted with our new roof and highly recommend SmartRoof to anyone.

SmartRoof was hired to assess roof damage caused by an awful hail storm that blew through our area. They provided a highly detailed report complete with photographs, explained all of our options, and were highly communicative throughout the entire process. This review is for the replacement of the skylights and not the shingles replacement.They sold us 2 skylight replacement and did only half the work. Apparently, it was in the fine print that they are not responsible for any "interior" work or damages caused by the replacement of the skylight. What the heck does replacement mean if they're only going to complete part of the work?I will never use these guys again and will post this on our neighborhood newsletter informing neighbors to watch out for the partial replacement of sky lights and their lack of care when it comes repairing damages they cause.

The SmartRoof team handled all the details of working with my insurance company to get the hail damage to my roof fully covered. They accommodated to our schedule requirements and installation was completed in two days. The installation team was amazing. they worked together as a well drilled unit. I can find no fault with their work, the results speak for themselves. The cleanup process was well and completely done, with multiple sweeps for nails. Every thing is satisfactory, except that the unused materials have not yet been removed by the supplier.

OK work but bad sales for solar projects.Sales: The sales person made a lot of false claims on tax incentives during the estimate. For residential project, there is only 30% credit. But he added 10% domestic content credit (commercial only with tons of restrictions, 5% VA tax credit (non-exist) to make it like 45% initial cost reduction. We got tricked and signed the contract based on those lies. The cost was slightly above VA average.Work: the actual work was fine. The communication was good, and the project was finished on time with good workmanship

My roof had wind damage, and I was looking for a reliable contractor to do the work. Brian from Smartroof knocked on my door one day, and he assessed the damage. Brian stayed with me from the start, contacting the insurance company until they finished the roof project. Frank did a fantastic job supervising the construction process. I recommend Smartroof, especially Brain's assistance in any replacement/modification project.

We were overall happy with the initial roof installation in October 2020. However, we noticed some leaks in the summer of 2021.We first filed a warranty claim in July of 2021 and there was no follow up. I called a few more times and was finally put into contact with someone from SmartRoof's warranty department In October 2021. After about a month, he asked me to text him pictures (attached) to a cell phone number, which I did. There has been no response since November 2021. We are now at about 6 months since the warranty claim was made and no action has been taken by SmartRoof.We are frustrated to have to deal with subpar customer service from the warranty department. We initially had a great experience with SmartRoof, but their lack of follow through on servicing their commitments means we paid $32k for a leaky roof that we will have to pay someone else to fix.Services: Gutter installation, Roof installation

The SmartRoofing team arrived early as I was told they would, which is a good thing. My house has a porch roof and small bump out roof in addition to the large main roof and a garage roof. Not only did they finish the all that roofing in one day, but also replaced my shed roof before sunset. Courteous when I asked questions and inspected their progress, the roofing team was thorough in their day’s end clean up. My 35-year-old house looks new again. The field supervisor Frank communicated with me several times during the day with updates and answers to my questions. He meticulously followed up on my requests to handle items like nailing an aluminum cover on the facia that came loose last year. Frank followed up immediately on a couple small items that the roofers missed. Frank is a top notch field supervisor. I highly recommend SmartRoof.Service: Roof installation

We had our cedar roof replaced with SmartRoof. They have a well-oiled process and worked with our insurance company to ensure all the damage was replaced and the new roof is up to current code. I did add a few upgrades as well.The approval process was long, but after it was completed, the installation proceeded at a rapid pace for the standard items. Some of the “non-standard” items, needed the assistance of their handyman group. Those guys know what they are doing.Jairo, the field supervisor for my project, did an outstanding job keeping me up-to-date, coordinating with the crews, (roofing, siding and gutters, and handyman) and ensuring all of the upgrades were installed and up to code. Thank you, Jairo. The roofing installation team worked quickly and professionally. That is a difficult job and the team put in long days to get the job completed!The final result turned out just as we had imagined. I would be happy to work with them again if the need arises. Hopefully it will be a long long time from now.

Our SmartRoof experience started Nov-2021 when Todd S**** knocked on our door. I typically do not buy from door-to-door salespeople, but our roof replacement was on our radar anyway, so I gave Todd a few minutes to explain SmartRoof. From the start, Todd knew a lot about roofing and the various insurance companies and how to work with them. It is now Aug-09-2022, and our main roof and wrap-around metal porch roof are officially complete. The timeline seems long, but between COVID, supply chain issues, rainy spring and summer, the summer heat, and finally, our lovely HOA - we finally got it done, and everything looks great.We had two (2) teams working on our project - the asphalt roof and the metal roof team. Both teams were very conscientious with our property and cleaned up after themselves, including running around it dozens of times with nail magnets and picking up stray nails and staples. Today David D****, the SmartRoof Project Manager, came to inspect the final product and reran our yard with a nail magnet (even got a couple of straggler nails). We noticed one part of the metal roof corners were kind of odd looking - nothing major, and David P*** took photos and will have a crew come back out to tweak the metal roof corners. And with that, we signed off on the project. These guys did a fantastic job, and I would highly recommend them. They walked us through the entire process from A-Z (including how and what our insurance company will do and that process, too). Even with the rather lengthy timeline getting our roof replaced was a relatively smooth experience and the final product is outstanding. It's clear that the company places a high value on customer support - all our questions were answered promptly throughout the process. I met Smartroof at the Philly Homeshow. Of all the roofers I spoke to, they're the only ones that I felt had my best interest in mind and weren't pushy! They had wonderful communication, were responsive, and very detailed during the whole process. What really put Smartroof over the top is the day of installation, I had some Tulips growing along side my house, and the workers put buckets over my flowers so they would not get damaged. That made my heart so happy that they went that extra mile. They also did a great job cleaning up all the debris! I would definitely recommend Smartroof.

Working with SmartRoof was a great experience start to finish. Andrew Killian, Sales Consultant, surveyed my entire roof for wind and hail damage, marked and photographed all compromised areas, and fully explained the insurance claims process. He returned 2 more times with other roofing experts to further survey a cedar shake roofed gazebo and other sections of the main roof. He later walked over the entire roof with my insurance adjuster. When insurance failed to acknowledge proper dimensions and certain specialized roofing features, SmartRoof went to bat and was able to compel the insurance company to increase the claim settlement by 20%. Vernon Carfine, Project Meeting Representative, reviewed all details of my new roofing system, materials choices, upgrades and other special requests I had, which were incorporated into the contract. Emmanuel Odagbodo, Field Supervisor, was onsite before, during and after the roofing installation. He did an excellent job to immediately rectify the few issues that arose. Emmanuel liaised expertly between the subcontractors, other Smartroof personnel and myself to ensure the entire job was completed to my satisfaction.

We recently had a roof installation done by SmartRoof. Initially, we were not satisfied with the result due to a noticeable discoloration in the shingles. This was a cause for concern, as it didn't meet the expectations we had for a new roof.However, we were was pleasantly surprised by the responsiveness and professionalism of SmartRoof. They took our concerns seriously and immediately took steps to address the issue. They guided us through the process of submitting a warranty claim to the manufacturer.Throughout the warranty claim process, Rene Vega was incredibly helpful and supportive and worked diligently to make things right. Once the claim was approved, they swiftly coordinated the reinstallation of our roof.The second time around, the roof was installed flawlessly, and the discoloration issue was completely resolved.
