Our family had a great experience with Cook Siding and Windows. We had our windows and doors replaced, new siding, gutters, and all new fascia. We went from the ugliest house on the block to the cutest little cottage with minimal disruption to our home's interior. The window and door replacement guys cleaned up after themselves extremely well! I would definitely recommend them if you want efficient, friendly, and expert work.

Had gutter guards installed in June but they were the wrong size and installed incorrectly. They came back out to install the correct size but again they were installed incorrectly. Cook’s came back out a third time to correct the work but only did half the work. Finally came back for a fourth time end of September to finish the work. I had asked for pictures/video to make sure areas I can’t get to was done correctly. The installer was standing so far away from the gutter and the added poor picture quality you can’t see anything. Took four months to install gutter guards and fix their mistakes and I still am not sure if the areas I can’t see were done correctly.However, they were responsive to my complaints and did come back to fix things although it took a couple trips.Response to Owner: I appreciated the upgrade at no additional cost but I had to question how they were installed to have them corrected. Your sales rep said his were installed with gaps similar to the pictures and it was normal. I had to contact the gutter guard manufacturer to get the correct installation information to make certain they were installed incorrectly, which they were.I understood the delay with the end caps. My main issue was with the poor workmanship and me having to question the install multiple times to have it corrected. If someone didn’t know any better would they have questioned it?In the end, to the best of my limited knowledge of gutter guards, everything was installed correctly.

Had been dealing with leaking windows for years. Contacted Cook Siding & Window to see if they could locate the problem. Was very prompt in coming, found the problem & repaired. I have a whole wall of 10 windows & years later during a hard rain, windows were leaking everywhere. Since they took care of the first problem, I felt confident in letting them replace these 10 plus 4 more. Their installer Gene was so polite & easy to work with, very keen to details & did a very nice job! Would not hesitate using them again!

Edited review:I left the review as we were frustrated to have siding falling off our two year old home. We called last week and spoke with a female who was not very friendly. We explained to her that our builder had subcontracted them two years ago for the siding on our home and let her know the issues. She stated if they came out to fix it, there would be a service call. I declined as if we were going to pay someone to fix it, we would choose someone else since we have had issues previously with the siding. I appreciate the response and Jesse, who sent a team out to fix it and to inspect the rest of the house and made a few additional repairs to the siding. Cook's Siding made things right, although I recommend following up with whomever took my call. At minimum she could have referred me to management since she knew I was unhappy.

I realize this took place many years ago, but it seems like every time I do a review it disappears, and others never get to read of our experience. And that’s not right especially if there is a problem.When Angie's list was once a thing we put a review on their platform, but it is no longer there. And the review did on BBB? Gone! If you go into the BBB today, nothing from our experience remains on the site. And, they are detailing almost the same problems.Nevertheless, we want others to know of our experience. We gave them almost 25 thousand dollars to replace doors, windows, siding and gutters. The brochures made the products look amazing. But as you will read, we were not to have any expectation the final products would look like the brochures. And since I brought it up, let me explain.When Mr. Cook came out to the property to hear of my complaint, I told him "I want it to look like the brochure" clean and professionally done. His response was "I just bought a Thickburger from Hardees and it did not look like the picture either...."In his response to the BBB he admitted this, as well as his final comment; "I am sorry (he) is not happy with his job, but I think he has unrealistic expectations from the products he purchased or is someone we cannot make happy. I also regret that he has put a bad mark on us with your organization as we value our BBB Rating highly."This should speak volumes to those shopping around. This was not a burger. And why shouldn't a customer who gave them almost $25, 000.00 have expectations of quality when the brochures are the product they sell? What good is a brochure?I will try to be brief with the complaints though I could write a book.The J channels were white in color, but they had used red ink to measure and cut. We were not able to remove the ink after attempting to clean it off. Neither were they.The J channels were not neat and uniform. Many of them overlapped because the cut was not precise. What they did was add large amounts of caulking.The siding overlapped in such a manner it appeared sloppy. And some pieces were not secure. You could move them from right to left. We were told it had to be done that way because it expanded and contracted. I didn’t see how this was possible on a brick home. Nevertheless, the optics was not pleasing to the eye like the brochure.The gutters were supposed to eliminate the problem of clogging with the gutter guards they sold. We had to constantly remove them by hand to allow water to access the gutters. But leaves were accumulating and resting on the gutter guards. The rain was diverted around the leaves.They brought out the Rep who said; ”the wind will carry the leaves off his gutter protection system and his roof, unless the house is sitting in such a way that the wind does not hit that area. In that case obviously the leaves will rest on top of the gutter guard until they are removed.”BINGO! We are back to the problem that we already had with the old gutters. We were back to the initial problem of removing the leaves. Apparently, the CSW salesman did not take into consideration we ARE surrounded by large trees blocking the wind. Yet, he sold us the new gutters without a bit of a challenge.The windows sash was not evenly spaced. They did fix those. However, we were saddened to replace the windows because who knew the older windows was quieter. We now heard things we never heard before.The employees showed up unannounced frequently. There were many different crews coming and going. One of their employees urinated in a water bottle and left it in our recycle bin next to the house door for us to dispose. He didn’t have the courtesy to put it in their van to haul off.I realize problems happen, but most of the time they can be fixed. In this case the owner had no urgency to make this a better experience. This was not a burger. This was our savings account used to fix an old house.Response- "Not there. What I was told". "Hardee" philosophy? Urination left in the bottle? It still happened!

Couldn’t be happier with our windows from Cook Siding! We had the best experience working with Josh to find the perfect windows for the front of our house, and we love how they turned out! We’ll definitely be using them again in the future for the rest of our windows!

Update/reply to Cook's response:I spoke to a woman on the phone at least three times about this issue over a two month period and they repeatedly told us we'd be contacted back, until the third call when she told us our job was "too small" and we likely wouldn't be called back about it. She then wouldn't offer any alternative recommendations. Two different representatives from our builders confirmed Cook's did our roof.It's fine if you had a communication and recordkeeping breakdown (clearly) but it's not a good look to imply that this never happened (?) or to assume you didn't work on our home.Either way, the work has been completed by a different company and the purpose of this review is to warn other consumers of our experience.----Cook's worked on our new construction in 2019. The drip edge flashing started coming off due to poor construction this year. When we called to discuss a fix, Cook's told us repeatedly they would call us back to schedule. Two months of calls later they finally admitted they had no intention of scheduling the job because it was "too small." I would be have been more understanding if they'd been upfront in the first place and not wasted my time, or if it wasn't their poor work in the first place. Ended up going with Modern Day Roofing who helped us out and did a nice job.

Installed window in new home. 1 window had broken open mechanism. After 6 attempts to fix the window they flat out forgot to order the part or wrong part keeps getting ordered. And 11 months later the window is still missing a part and has not been fixed. It’s been 11 months and counting. Good luck if something goes wrong using these guys.Update May 2, 2023. They came to fix the window locking bar with the correct size today. However, cooks team did not order the white handle to lock or unlock the window. So we can’t use the window still-12 months and counting with no fix.

I scheduled a roof job with Mallory a few weeks ago. Edwin showed up, tore off the old roof and put on the new roof in one day. The truck from the supply house didn't show up but Cook was able to pivot and get our roof installed just in time for a major rain storm. I am very happy with my experience.

I recently purchased a roof through cook siding and windows and I cannot say enough good things about my salesman! Cory was beyond professional and very easy on the eyes. He kept in contact with me throughout the whole process and was always available when needed. This past year, I had Cook Siding & Window replace all my windows, railing, storm door and my siding. I couldn’t be happier with the results. Everything looks perfect. Everyone at Cook has been great to work with, especially Josh Montgomery, the sales rep that sold me these projects. Josh is always responsive and alway timely. He went way far and beyond to make sure we were taken care of. I never once had to ask for an update as he always kept me informed as to where we were because all the projects were happening at different times. Also, Mallory Cook is great as well. Do not hire Cook siding and windows for any project you are wanting. We have had an absolutely miserable experience with this company. Our first experience was putting in new gutters. It took them 6 different times to come out to finish the project. Each time they indicated they were finished, they still had work that had to be completed.The salesman Tucker committed on multiple occasions that he had the correct measurements and scheduling, to find out he did not.We also hired Cook to screen in our side porch, against my better judgment and this project was far worse than the gutters. They had scheduled at least 3 times to start only to find out they could not work with our posts due to poor calculations.I spoke to Mallory, the sales manager on multiple occasions and after each conversation, she said she would call me back. She called me back once to confirm the screening installation, and once again, it was screwed up due to poor communication.I will reiterate, do not under any circumstances hire this company for work! I don’t know how a company like this stays in business!The guy they had come out to do our screens looked like a homeless man.The guys that they had do our gutters appeared to be new or have very little knowledge of gutter installation.Cook siding and windows are the worst company I have dealt with in my 58 years on this planet!
