Any DIY person could have done the job Palm did. Absolute worst wall and ceiling texture. Left a mess everywhere. Any reviews from individuals giving high reviews on flooring alone - I agree with- the floor installers were amazing and take pride In their work. The rest of the experience we have had is trash. They showed up to start work at 3pm and leave within a couple of hours. Absolutely no respect for our home or our time. Left trash in our house until we complained enough. If I could give negative stars I would. WORST OF ALL THE PROJECT REMAINS UNFINISHED after we paid tens of thousands of dollars for a kitchen remodel. See photos and this is just the tip of the issues. We are just sick over this. RUN!!!

*Pros:* Laborers were professionals and each one does the work perfectly. So 5 stars to the Laborers. Finished work in 10 days which is amazing. See pictures on Yelp and Google that cabinets/countertops are great but overall kitchen remodeling was not completed*Cons:* 1.) Aggressive sales team. We wanted only to add additional cabinets and ended up with Kitchen remodeling at 4 times the original planned budget. An analogy could be that the team will sell you a Porsche when all you wanted was a Honda. The problem is you would never know the true cost as I never wanted a kitchen remodeling. However the sales team would make you sign the contract and make you pay 10% down payment that very day. Please see other comments in Yelp, Google and BBB to understand I am not exaggerating2). Finished cabinets and countertop is top notch but the state of Kitchen was left very unpresentable. Kitchen remodeling needs to be complete3) Asking for 90% of payment when the cabinets and counters are placed but not all work complete esp with broken torn down walls and appliances not installed. This is because when the contract was authored they conveniently authored it this way. I politely declined and the team accepted, yet should have never even asked for 90% payment when the work is not completed.4) Unclear statements - We spoke about backsplashing & the Sales team quoted under $200. Yet was not very clear in contract. While I agreed to paint, back splashing was conveniently removed from contract and as end customer I am not the expert in all these contract. So I felt scammed when I found it would cost approximately $20005) False promises - Stated will collect the final payment after confirming everything was satisfactory. Yet left with unfinished partial drywall but I did pay as signed in contract and never delayed payment except when work was uncompleted.I am not just a complaining customer but still wanted to register my dissatisfaction and educate other customers. Once again cabinets and countertop are great but overall kitchen is unsatisfactory. Please see pictures in Google and Yelp

Never use them.Bill before completionRefuse to do promised repairs.Work is shoddy, reason they need to repair.Cut power lines , poured concrete and let the rain damage it. Left rocks and gravel debris in the yard for months killing the grass. Broke the sprinkler pipes repeatedly.In Bid, promised to remove old concrete and debris from my yard, did not do.Promised a waterproof deck,did not doPromised to repair electrical wires,did not doPromised not to cash check until they fixed the concrete and sealed it,did not doPromised to do all repairs before they did any more work,did not do.Promised not to cash check until they completed the repairs and repoured and sealed the concrete,did not doInstead they sent a final bill and tried to paint the house, leaving me all the repairs.It is now middle of July, and they have been promising to fix since February.Should be able to leave negative stars.They never removed all of the demo concrete, so the yard was elevated, then the fence had to be elevated, making all the rest of the fence off level.Poured the concrete patio directly against some of the fence. I have no idea how to repair that.Within a week, there were more than 20 feet of cracks throughout the concrete, let alone all the holes from the rain damage.Installed hazardous stairs.Then called and harass me because I want the repairs done as promised before they do any additional work.The office person was belligerent, accused me of not letting them complete the job. Refused to schedule all the repairs. I haven't even used "Palm Construction," but I can tell you this place is NOT your answer.For a brief background, my family is looking to replace siding on my family's home. Due to some family circumstances, the owners of the home (my parents) will not be back for another week. They have asked me to get estimates in the meantime. Keep in mind, all of this was explained to "Palm Construction" upon the FIRST call with them on MONDAY.It is now Thursday, I have since gotten five more calls from them. I have explained to them time and time again that:1) The first representative I spoke with was told this2) They always reach the same conclusion that they will not send anyone out as the owner is not present, but they will try in a week when the owners are back.3) Each DIFFERENT representative that calls says they will document the file, but clearly no one has.What this tells me as a consumer is that they do not care about the person behind the phone, they do not communicate among each other, and they are not organized.If this is the impression I've received from the initial sales pitch/estimate set-up process, I cannot imagine what it would be like to retain their services. Do yourselves a favor and take your valuable business elsewhere to someone who cares about you.

My wife and I purchased our dream home this past March (2021). The first thing on our “to do” list was re-design and rebuild our deck.We’re very picky people - we know what we want, we research the hell out of everything, and we insist on quality at the best possible price (not cheap, but optimized cost to quality).I had to have gone through 8 different contractors for the deck bid - pricing was all over the place, and most contractors weren’t open to sharing how costs were calculated (because they were hiding shenanigans). I was about to just cancel the project and wait a year, until I met Lior from Palm Construction.Lior was attentive, friendly, professional, and completely open and transparent about costs, timelines, choices in materials, etc. After a ton of questions and design from my wife and I, we signed with Lior for the deck remodel job (it’s a huge deck).Lior and his team executed on our custom deck design flawlessly, and even took it up a knotch here and there with some details. The finished deck and pergola are absolutely stunning. Lior was attentive and responsive throughout the project, checked in daily, stopped by often, and had a consistent mantra of “no problem” whenever my wife and I wanted to adjust or change something mid project.The experience with Palm, and working with Lior and his manager Ray, was 10/10. I’d recommend Lior to any of my personal friends and family, and will continue to give Lior and Palm our business for future home construction projects.

They removedThe three foot wide part of porch that I used to be able to wash my windows. The porch isMuch smaller, and cost me three times what my previous builder did. I created a request through Angi for quotes for window replacements. I decided not to get a bid through them though and have told that I'm not interested and asked them to take me off their calling list. Despite that, they refuse to remove me and have called me 2 to 5 times EVERY SINGLE DAY since I created the request a week and a half ago. It's an extremely harassing and predatory company. They must have a lot of sales callers because it's been a bunch of people that have called me from a lot of different numbers, so it makes it hard to even block all of their numbers.

While we ultimately got a nice deck it took a lot of time, effort and aggravation to get there. Despite being the most expensive bid we got we chose Palm Construction because they were highly rated with good reviews. Unfortunately we encountered several issues.The first is that when the salesman came out he showed us beautiful pictures of window framed decks with lovely miter joints which is what we thought we were getting. He didn't actually look closely at our deck. As it turned out, since we were not doing a rebuild, miter joints were not possible in all but one corner.The second issue was that the cedar purchased to rebuild our railing was poor quality. We did not get a chance to inspect the wood before it was installed and painted There were many gouges and it all needed a good sanding. The gouges were filled in with putty. When we complained how rough the balusters were we were told that's how the wood comes and no contractor would sand it first. That may be true but it was ugly and, in the case of the stair railing, a hazard. After showing the railing to the supervisor it was replaced with better quality wood but Palm Construction refused to sand or replace the really rough balusters and threatened us with legal action if we did not accept them.The third issue was that the crew used screws that were too long and then cut the excess off. They damaged some existing wood in the process and were going to leave it as is until we complained. Palm Construction replaced the damaged wood and used decent quality.The fourth issue was that four of the Trex boards were damaged. The crew didn't notice and installed them anyway. When we pointed it out Palm Construction replaced these boards without complaint.The fifth issue was that two of the miter jointed on the deck railing were not lined up.Fortunately for us the site foreman brought the crew back. He had them come back to fix the miter joints and sand and repaint the worst of the balusters but just for the side that faces into the deck.After reading our comments on the project sign off sheet a woman from Palm contacted me and asked if there was anything Palm could do to improve things. Since the project was finished we said all we could think of was a partial refund. I was told she had to discuss it with her manager and would get back to me on Tuesday. Several days after Tuesday she contacted me and offered a rather small amount as compensation. In exchange we had to promise not to post a poor review. We did not accept.We now have a nice deck but it was a big hassle.Service: Deck construction

2024 Update: While the initial work was completed successfully, the quality of work completed has NOT held up long term. We identified several issues immediately after construction (failing grout, poor tile install) that was initially addressed by Palm Construction, but eventually led to no contact. Now, we're dealing with a variety of poor installation issues. The shower that was installed leaks water all over the bathroom, the finish on the wood floors has bubbled cracked and peeled, and the floors are not level in many locations. Since no follow up was taken by Palm before their warranty period, we now are stuck spending money to correct these issues in the future. I would not return to Palm for future work.-----------------------------We contracted Palm Construction to complete several updates to a townhome we recently purchased. They were able to promptly assess what would be required and provide a fair quote for the work. Supply chain issues aside, they were able to work quickly to remodel our main bathroom, install new tile, and hardwood floors across all three floors of our home. It has totally transformed the house. There was clear communication and updates throughout and they were always pleasant to work with. Lior maintained good communication throughout the project (deck replacement); provided status updates on materials orders, the team's work schedule, and status of where they are at the end of each workday. The crew also did a great job installing the deck. They showed proper respect to our property and tried to minimize interruption to our activity as much as they can, which was very helpful as I was working out of my house. They completed the project on time and on budget. And cleaned up properly afterward. They were professional and did excellent work.

This company is very unprofessional and they did not do what they said they would do. They didn’t know how to properly install our fence and on day one had to start over. Because of this they left holes filled with concrete under the fence instead of removing the concrete before starting over. They also didn’t know how to install our driveway gate and we had to do tons of research ourselves concerning the gate, deck, railing, etc. Palm construction also didn’t want to build our railing to code for our deck. The project manager argued with us about us wanting to build our deck to code. They didn’t know how to properly adjust the tension for the cable wires and they didn’t know what marine grade was or what the tension on the railing should be per building codes. They put holes in our Trex deck where they shouldn’t be and just left them open. The corner of our deck came apart after one month. They didn’t put waterproof tape on our stairs and they had to redo the concrete pad because they laid the concrete in rainy and freezing weather. They left screws, wire and concrete pieces all over our yard. Also, there were 3 (middle school aged) kids helping out when they shouldn’t have even been on the property. A huge liability. We wouldn’t even give one star for this company if there was a zero. A job that should have been done right the first time and would have taken 90 days ended up taking 8 months because EVERYTHING had to be redone. DO NOT use this company!!! We used them because they got 5 stars, but after the fact, come to find out the reviews were for the LA office.Services: General construction, Deck construction, Concrete pouring, Patio construction

We used Palm Construction for kitchen remodeling. Coral is the project manager that contacted us and we discussed the possibility of a small kitchen remodeling project. Instead of pushing us to "think big," he stayed realistic and concrete. When we did want to expand the kitchen into the family room and go for a totally new floor plan, he also supported us and gave good advice. He was very professional and good at driving things. We liked how meticulous he was--listing all the materials we needed to get and estimating the costs that entailed. When the project started, staff at the companies that supplied the materials and the workforce to install everything were on time. We waited four weeks for a picture window and three weeks for the cabinets to come, but that was expected. Once the project started, Coral visited site frequently and listened to us. As for our specific requests, he could relay to the parties concerned. I am very thankful I have a new cooking arena.Service: Remodeling

The process started off fine. They were on time and did an excellent job with going over options, but then it turned poor. First the guy kept asking me how many bids did I already have, and wanted to know their pricing. He then said that they were normally a little higher than most bids. The contractor then said he could create the bid on the spot. We were getting our kitchen and bathrooms remodeled. After 10 minutes of "preparing the bid" he came back with a quote that was 3 times higher than everyone else, without any line item justification. It then turned into a car buying process. He called his "manager" and put him on speaker phone to see what they could do since I was such a solid guy. Then the "manager" said, "I don't normally do this, but I am going to knock off the price of one cabinet for you." This equated to $1200 off a $60,000 bid. At this point we knew they were ridiculous and when I said I would need some time to look at options, the salesman kept asking me to just make a decision right now. Seriously. If this is a normal business model, then I do not know how people are giving them 5 stars.I would highly encourage you to check with others before making a decision. I don't doubt their skill level, but they are definitely trying to find people who don't do their homework, and make on the spot decisions under pressure.

We hired Palm to paint the exterior of our home, which turned out very nicely. So we then hired them to demo our existing, tiny patio, and build a huge spacious one with a nice railing. Our project manager, Benjamin, was patient, explained everything as we went, and was always responsive to my texts. Everyone who came out to the house was professional and congenial.
