i had to order some quikrete i needed 30lbs after 15mins i got a email saying the order was cancelled then received another email saying the order was confirmed sent my wife to pick up the order and when she picked it up the order was only a 10lb bag they where out of stock and instead of letting me know before they processed my order they just charged me for one 10lb bag they even had the 30lb bag in stock so after she wasted the trip i had to wait and drive 50 mins out of my way just to pick up the right order from LOWES they workers where nice but it’s ridiculous they couldn’t tell me this when i called to confirm the order

Have been here numerous times, the staff is friendly, knowledgeable and very helpful. Highly recommend visiting this store. The owner went out of his way to make sure the product I was looking for was delivered quickly. Go see the staff and tell them Squatch sent you.

This is the best Ace hardware store. Staff is knowledgeable and always available to help you. The selection is by far the best around everything from animal feed to grilling needs. The management is top notch if you have a issue its handled with professionalism. This is the only place ill go for livestock needs to simple home repairs.Definitely a better store than it use to be the new management was clearly what this place needed.

I had no clue what I was doing (except for one of the items) and the very knowledgeable sales person helped explain to me what I needed and what to do. All I did was describe where the leak was, and pictures of it. I had three different types (and sizes) of piping/hose. Pictures are from before:

Stopped in this store today not for anything in particular, just browsing and every employee we past greeted us and asked if we needed help finding anything. Even when leaving without making a purchase, they acknowledged us and told us to have a great weekend. Super friendly staff! Will definitely go back!

Really despised this Ace hardware after the back and forth I dealt with on a return of something a few years ago. But after attempting to use the merchandise card from that return, I had issues. Attempted to purchase online with the gift card but was unsuccessful. Figured I'd go in and give it a go. Same thing. Wouldn't process right. So, the transaction was passed off to a gentleman named Alex. This man did more for the customer than I have ever seen combined out of the staff in this place. He did everything in his power to run the merchandise card and we were finally successful.I returned again a few weeks later to purchase more supplies and wanted to thank Alex again for his assistance. To my surprise (since I'm terrible at remembering people) Alex remembered exactly who I was and was happy to help me find what I needed with suggestions.As long as Alex is there, I will return. The others could learn from him. Keep up the good work!

They have a little of everything. Prices aren't terrible. Easy to find help loading your car. Convenient location. Nice to shop somewhere Smalley than a big box store. Not always enough check out associates but that is typical of today's work scene. The only thing I was unhappy with was their screen repair service they say they offered but after three days of our screens sitting in the back untouched we took them back and went somewhere else. I don't feel like anyone cared that they weren't touched and that they couldn't provide an actual time they would be done.

I'm updating my review with a five star. This went up from a two-star. Staff is finally competent and there are some real trade masters there. As a pro, I just need the part I need or I need something that works. They've got it and it's worthwhile to go there. This place is open late enough to accommodate the weekend warriors and the evening warriors.Well done!

Purchased a locking mechanism for my front door that will not work for my door(which I figured out once I got home). Came back in about three hours later to exchange it for a different type of lock, and was told no I couldn’t return it. The package was open, but the lock was in the exact same shape as it was when I got it.

Wosrt customer service ever. I went to buy plumbing stuff and while checking out sales girls at cashier register were taking BS to each other without being noticed that someone checking out with bunch of stuff. They needs to get fired because behave like they are working without salary.

Went to purchase a grout trowel they didn't have it, purchased 2 5 gal. buckets for 14.00$ they are a better made bucket, high prices = better quality?

Alot of items to fix up your home. I hopefully visited on a bad day. I brought in a busted vent i wanted to replace. Two persons did not know where the vents were if they even had any. I found the vent in grey and asked a clerk if they had them in white. I was suggested to paint the grey one. I found what i needed at Home Depot

Love this Ace Hardware. It's one of the larger ones that I have been in. We just bought a house near Ace and I have been there often to get things I need from grass seed to plumbing repair parts and tools. The staff is helpful to me in figuring out what I need. If they don't have it in stock they can usually get it quickly.

Been shopping at this Fairmont location for years. Very clean store, they always have what I'm needing for my projects at home. The staff is very friendly and courteous, the staff is also very knowledgeable and helpful! They have excellent paint too btw. I recommend checking this store out before going to a "box store" elsewhere

I got there at 5:12 on a Saturday and they were closed. ( several others were disappointed and turned away.) I guess they don't really care about staying in business, because we'll be spending our money elsewhere from now on. Those Big Box stores have more selections and better prices, anyway.

Was a pleasant atmosphere they pretty much understood the explanations I told them what I needed which was typical Ace Hardware they almost read your mind the prices were a little bit pricey but I said the hometown experience is so much better than a big box companies these people actually talk to you and we all try to make sure you're Pleasant Construction West Side I called back up traffic and things but my day was pretty good.

They always have what you need, and someone always volunteers to assist you. The tellers are cordial and they greet you with a smile and a hello when entering the store. The Ace reward card and military discount is always applied to your purchase. Ace is the place.

I have even called the Fairmont Ace Store and had no response as yet. Over the years, we have spent a great deal of money with this store and as far as I am concerned, that has come to an end. I would rather drive many more miles to where we will be treated as valued customers.We paid $49.99 for this showerhead and it did not last one month. On the same day we spent more than $342.00 and when we tried to return the showerhead, which the cheap rubber-like inside hose had blown open, drowning our bath, Ace Hardware in Fairmont would not accept it because we did not still have the box, even though we presented them with the receipt. We have spent many hundreds of dollars at this store and are Very disappointed in their inaction toward regular customers. This will cost them far more in future business from us. I will never go back there even though it might take a much longer trip to other stores. I no longer trust them. This will also be posted on Google and Yahoo as well as Facebook.

I like shopping at this Ace. The staff is friendly and helpful. Most of the time they know their hardware.This Ace is a really good option when you need to send someone with little experience to get you something. A rough description with an example or a picture will usually do. They won't treat them like a jerk for not knowing the difference in something. I handed someone a 45 elbow with the instructions, "Go to Ace; I need this but as a 90." She returned with the right part, and said the Ace employee was very helpful.
