When they installed a new roof on my garage they compromised the integrity of the existing leaf guard system. One of the gutters is now out of alignment as well. I’ve sent pictures and emails to hopefully get this resolved. I’m hoping they get this taken cared of and if they do I’ll change my rating. Otherwise I don’t recommend this company. Update… they did try to fix it and it’s as good as it’s going to get so I updated my rating.

Recently had our roof replaced and couldn't be happier. Everyone involved was very professional, great communication, and very smooth process. The roofing crew was very conscious of our landscaping and did an amazing job keeping everything tidy andcleaned up afterward leaving our yard, landscaping and house in pristine condition. Big Fish did a fantastic job on our home. We had damage from the recent hailstorm and they replaced our roof, fascia, gutters, downspouts, and skylight. The work was done in 2 days. The crews were very efficient. Everything ran smoothly, from the first meeting with Jason, to the delivery of the materials and the installation. They cleaned up all of the materials and covered/took special care of our plants and landscaping. We were one of the first homes in the area to have our project completed. The roof was completed in a day and so far no issues so I'm very happy with that aspect of the work. However I would not recommend using them for add-ons. They said they could install a Solatube but they could not. The unit they received was bent but they installed it anyway telling me they would come back later to swap it out. They never came back, never hooked up the electrical to it, and never vented it properly so now I have to crawl up into the attic and try to figure out how to vent it. I'm glad at least I noticed it wasn't vented correctly or it would have been pumping moist air into my attic causing potential issues. Unfortunately I've paid them already so they never got back to me on finishing the job. So, for a roof they are probably fine but I would not recommend that they do anything beyond that.In response to the electrical comment, I was originally told that you would be hooking it up. I was then informed later that you were no longer working with the electrician that you had been subcontracting. So that's kind of a grey area for you to claim that you were never contracted to do the electrical. Regardless, the venting discharge was never installed and the unit that was installed does have a minor defect which no one ever returned to correct. As far as being a phone call away, several attempts were made to reach out to you and I was repeatedly told that someone would get back to me to schedule the completion, but no one ever did.Service: Roof installation

Big Fish just completed work at our house where they completed new roof, new gutters, gutter guard and some siding replacement work. Throughout the process, starting from quoting, Erik was very helpful in answering all of my questions and explaining about different products. Roof crew was very professional & hard working. They finished the roof work in one day. There was different team for gutter and siding work but all did excellent job. From beginning to end, Big Fish and Erik D and crew, did a great job. The price was competitive, the work was done on time, communication was great, concerns were handled appropriately, crew showed up early or on time, they were respectful of our property, and more. They did a complete tear off, and partial re-decking and installed skylights in one day. Another crew came to do gutters the next day . Looks great. Two big thumbs up for Big Fish Contracting! I had a complete roof tear off and replacement along with all new gutters. Jason and Tanya were always friendly, quick to respond by phone, text or email. Jason did a great job of explaining options to me, sending color examples, and keeping in touch. The quote was in line with other company quotes, but my neighbor used Big Fish a few years ago and their roof still looks great.All materials were delivered the day before. The crew came early to avoid the 100F heat index and immediately got to work. TJ checked in to see if I had any questions. Plants and lawn were covered with large tarps. My neighbor texted me with “Wow! this crew is efficient” when ½ of the front side was already done. Even though they were speedy, care and details were taken care of. The cleanup crew were constantly filling bins and running the magnet around to collect nails. The roof was done in a day and the gutter guys came the next day. The gutter team was just as friendly and quick.I recommend Big Fish for any service you need done, and will definitely use them again!Service: Roof installation

I hired Erik / Big Fish to re-roof our house, and the entire experience was absolutely fantastic. Erik was very professional, responsive, and his advice was solid. He didn't push me toward anything that wasn't in my best interests - He gained my trust quickly. He and his team were very efficient - I was on a tight timeline to have the work done, and his team came in and did a great job thoroughly but quickly, cleaned up everything, and I ended up with a beautiful new roof. These guys are amazing. Very detailed and perfectionist which is what you want on your home. Along with outstanding workmanship, It's the things that can't be seen by the homeowner that sets them apart from others. Kick out flashing to divert water, flashings under siding to ensure water doesn't get underneath, Ice and Water shield, repairing any boards. All things that make your roof better and last longer but you would never notice. They use a high quality shingle and they work with you to make sure you select the right productsThey installed roof, skylight, and gutters for me.Their office manager sent me emails daily on when they were expected to start, and she kept me informed on any rain delays. The contractor would stop over multiple times during the work to see how it was going and to give me updates.They cover all the windows during tear off. They pick up at the end of every day. You can't tell they were there, except for how amazing your home looks.I know many friends who used someone else, and their contractors were constantly coming out after the fact to fix things that were missed during install. Erik and the entire Big Fish Team are the real deal. We hired them to do a complete exterior makeover of our home. New roof, new siding, new windows, new doors, new front porch, new garage doors, new gutters and downspouts, facia, etc.Our house looks amazing. Each team that was at our house was professional, clean and efficient. Communication was great all around as well.Erik is extremely caring and only wants to make your house look it’s best. We had storm damage to our roof, with interior water damage to one of our bedrooms. Big Fish came highly recommended to us by the remediation company hired by our insurance company. I cannot say enough about this company and I am so glad we hired them to replace our roof! The communications with Jason were always easy and prompt. He got us an estimate the same day he looked at the roof, and were able to schedule us within one week for the work. The crew was awesome! We could tell how experienced and professional they were, because they had a system in place for the steps they did to protect our yard, removing the old roofing materials and doing a superb clean-up job afterwards. It was like each worker had his own tasks to do, and they worked together well and as a team. There was not one nail, not one spec of roofing material or anything left behind. Our house is a small ranch mind you, but even with installing 6 new roof vents and caps and replacing some decking and new flashing around the chimney, they got our roof done in about 6 hours! The roof looks amazing. The workmanship is excellent. The crew is a great group of guys who certainly know what they are doing, they are hard-working and take pride in their work. My husband and I HIGHLY recommend Big Fish Contracting, LLC!

We recently had Big Fish Contracting come and do a complete tear off including removing the decking over the entire house. They also replaced the soffits, fascia and gutters. They were wonderful! Paid close attention to details. My husband and I were at work while almost all of the work was being done and we didn't worry at all about quality of the work. We had our roof done. Sales guy (Erik) was outstanding. They offered a good price. Not necessarily the lowest, but a decent price and he instilled trust. His crew was amazing. They worked hard and fast and did quality work. Our roof was stripped and replaced in less than 8 hours and not a trace to be found of debris. Erik also suggested a ventilation change that I believe has fixed a long standing issue we have had. Erik was also very responsive to questions both before and after the bid was won.

Big Fish just completed a remodel of our master bathroom and we are very, very happy. The designer/architect was Lisa, who we have worked with previously at a different company, and she is the best. Al was our project manager and did an excellent job of communicating with us and making sure we knew exactly what was going on day to day with the project.Finally the work of Travis, who did ALL the work in the bathroom, was excellent. He took his time and is a perfectionist which is exactly what we were hoping for. He was also a great guy and we enjoyed all of our conversations with him. Top notch all the way around.I highly recommend Big Fish for any work needed around the house.

A warranty is only worth a much as the company who offers it and with Big Fish it's worth nothing.We have issues with a repair that they made and left multiple messages and emails and the only time I ever received a call back was a promise that they would get back to me early the following week and never did.I'm shocked at all the 5 star reviews as the quality of the initial work was sub par at best, took longer than promised and the end result was mediocre.I would be very weary to have Big Fish tackle any large project you have as it doesn't seem like their work is made to last longer than it takes for the check to clear.
