This roofing job was a great experience. Ryan responded to our request for an estimate promptly, listened to our needs, didn't try to oversell, and delivered exactly what was agreed upon. The crew was on-the-dot punctual and extremely efficient. Everything worked like clockwork, and the clean up was great. Matt is a gem to work with, too. Communication was clear and accurate. It was really nice to get email/text notifications of where our project was at on a timeline. On a five star scale I'd give these guys a 10!

We had a leak in our roof by our chimney. They "fixed" the flashing around the chimney. The roof still leaked. They said we needed a cricket behind the chimney. The roof still leaked. They came out and did a hose test on the chimney and it was still leaking by the flashing. We replaced it again. 5 years later and we are still having leaks. We are now going to have another company come and redo the work they should have done the first time. We wasted our money on this company.

Sunset Ridge did an incredible job on our house! We had them replace our run-down siding with new James Hardie cement composite and they also installed new windows for us that we had pre-purchased. Right off the bat, they were one of the only contractors who would even talk to me about putting in pre-purchased windows, or any of our other peculiar-to-us job requests. Their team was great--they communicated well, showed up timely, worked SUPER hard to get our house finished, and asked lots of great and helpful questions along the way. I hope I never have to reside another house but if I do, I'll definitely go with Sunset Ridge again.Service: Exterior structural repairs

We have used Sunset Ridge exteriors twice over the last several years for two different projects. The first was the total reroofing of a rather large home. The second was replacement of a flat roof. The work was accomplished in a timely fashion, and the quality of the work was excellent. I found it easy to contact the project project manager when we had any questions. We have absolutely no hesitation in recommending Sunset roof exteriors.

Sunset Ridge Exteriors fixed roof damage from a racoon for me awhile back and were amazing to work with, so when my house was hit by hail last summer I immediately knew who I wanted to call to do the repairs. They replaced my windows, roof, and siding on my house and it looks amazing! I could not have asked for anyone easier to work with and their speed to respond has been amazing whenever I had a question along the way! Their attention to detail and making sure every step was completed correctly was the best I have ever seen.

Landscaping is my passion. It’s my art. So when I realized that we needed a new deck I was nervous that the yard would get trashed during the process.I honestly didn’t trust Autumn when she said with full confidence that the guys wouldn’t damage any plants or trees while doing the tear down and build. I thought, yeah right. Companies don’t actually care what the homeowner’s concerns are.Guess what? I was wrong. Kasity and Ryan were so considerate with the whole process. Where they set materials, where they put equipment and especially the daily clean up. I was blown away.Autumn and Matt were so quick to respond whenever I reached out with a question or concern and had a solution immediately.The whole team was so rad. A great crew of cool people who are easy to talk to, great communicators, tidy, respectful and courteous. And do great work!Shout out to Alex who was the first member of the team I met. I had about 10 decking companies come out to assess our space, but after I met Alex I was like, if I feel like I can have a beer with this guy, then I can talk to him if something goes awry during the build.We’re so glad we went with 3rd Gen for our deck. It was as smooth and stress free as could be!

Do not use Sunset Ridge Exteriors!Initially I was happy with my roof/installation etc. but fast forward six years and I have water coming in the house. At first I thought it was a separation in the flash and after an argument with Mike, the OWNER on whether it was the original flash (despite being in the contract it was to be replaced) their sales person begrudgingly came out to check. Without even looking in the gutter, I was told my gutter was full of leaves (I have gutter guards) and that was probably causing water to come in the house and caused the exterior and interior damage. When I checked the area/gutter I pulled out a substantial roll of roofing nails (see included pictures) from the gutter which blocked the flow of leaves and water, causing the back up. Once the nails were removed water flowed freely.I went back to Sunset Ridge Exteriors with what I found, Mike the OWNER denied the nails are theirs and went so far as to suggest i placed them in the gutter myself.All I’ve asked Sunset Ridge Exteriors for thus far, is to come back and check the area again and rest of my gutters to make sure there aren’t more of their nails in them, but Sunset Ridge Exteriors won’t even commit to that. Sunset Ridge Exteriors has chosen blame me, and not assume any responsibility for correction. I think it’s safe to say I won’t hear from Sunset Ridge Exteriors any longer as I’ve received an email to direct all future correspondence to his attorney.Sunset Ridge Exteriors was quick to cash my check but when you need them they are incredibly dismissive, have no sense of urgency. extremely accusatory and argumentative. The employees will tell you i am not the first to say this as well. So much for that warranty!Unless you want your gutter clogged with rusty roofing nails, and zero ownership for their mistake I would NEVER recommend Sunset Ridge ExteriorsService: Roof installation

I scheduled quotes from 6 different vendors when we decided to replace some of the 20 year old windows in our house. Sunset Ridge Exteriors had the best price to quality ratio. We contracted them to install 4 windows into our home (three sliders and a picture). They understood our needs, they didn't try to upsell us on products we didn't want, the windows are great quality, and they did a great job with the installation. My home feels better: no more drafts; no more ants; better insulation; better noise reduction. Also, the warranty on the windows is excellent. I feel like most people underestimate the value of a quality transferable warranty, but when comparing a bunch of different vendors the warranty is real point of differentiation.

We've had Sunset Ridge do two projects for us so far, and we've been very pleased with both. They replaced the box vents in our attic with a ridge vent and they replaced our front door.Both projects were done quickly and the workmanship in each case was spot on. The thing that struck me in both cases was the clean up. When each crew left, it was like they'd never been there. No stray nails (from a roofing project!), dust, not even smudges on the glass in the front door, and there's a lot of glass. The crew even wiped down the (seriously dated) white trim from around the door when they replaced it.Easy to work with, on schedule, on budget. Kind of all one can ask for.

I cannot say enough about the great job that Sunset Ridge Exteriors did with our new windows and doors. I am impressed with the quality of the windows and doors. I looked at several brands and feel that I bought a high-quality product that was not overpriced.Everyone that I worked with was top notch. I dealt with Matt, one of the owners and David, one of their salesman. Matt and David kept in contact with me as to what was happening and scheduling. Both guys came out to my house multiple times before, during and after construction. The construction crew were phenomenal. When the house was originally built the front door was larger than the opening and the builder finagled it to fit. Matt and David noticed that the door was the wrong size, ordered the correct size and the construction crew rebuilt the entire front opening, and it looks so much nicer. The construction crew clearly knew what they were doing and made a difficult task look easy. The office crew was also great to work with.

Working with Mike for the contract was super easy and enjoyable. Unfortunately everything after that made me question our decision. From lack of communication for weeks on end to them tearing off my neighbors roof instead of mine. The roof looks great. After they cleaned up and came back once more per our request to pick up nails/debris, this is what we found with our magnet that we bought for $10 because we kept finding more in the mulch beds where our 2 year old likes to play.

We got it measured in early July by Matt and they were installed in early August. The process was, quick easy, and painless. Everyone was very professional and responsive. We hired Sunset Ridge Exteriors to replace our roof and they did an outstanding job! Their estimate was the best of the four we asked for. I knew their work from the year before when they had done a quality roof repair, so I felt very good hiring them again.Their crew was excellent. They worked on a day with 90 degree heat and 80% humidity! To say conditions were difficult is an understatement. It was brutal. The guys worked their tails off. They even worked when a downpour of rain came. I can not compliment them enough for their effort.Hopefully we will never need to have our roof repaired again, but if we do I will definitely call Sunset Ridge Exteriors.

Sunset Exteriors now M&M…Subcontracted with people who came in to fix the roof at 7 am on Saturday morning without warning. These contractors punched holes in the roof while installing and we ended up with a garage full of roof debri. They also broke a tree in half when they threw the material from the roof in our yard. In addition to this, they did not initially flash the siding that was replaced. We asked to have these issues addressed. The siding was addressed in a timely fashion but when the guy from Chicago came out to inspect the other damage he offered to fix only two spots that had boards broken in half and then told me we could pay to have them fix the rest that they broke. He also condescendingly responded to my request to cover the loss of the tree telling me I would never fix it anyway. This company then harassed us about payment and asked us to sign a form releasing them from all damage. Worst experience ever!!!! Never hire this company!!! We are telling all our friends the same thing.

From the beginning Mike and Matt were very helpful in the layout of the changes we wanted for our existing deck and had good advice on the product selection. From Fran to Ryan to Belmont to Matt to Shawn (I may be misspelling Shawn's name...), this organization did a great job in getting our roof and gutters redone in a timely fashion. In fact, our neighbors mused to us that the roofers were treating the roof as well as it being their own.Owing to the age and condition of some of the wood on the roof, one of the roofers did step through in our living room (thankfully stepping through is ALL he did). Matt worked with the team to get this interior damage corrected within a week.Overall, we are pleased with the result and performance, and recommend Sunset Ridge Exteriors for your job.Service: Roof installation
