We were really impressed with Reimer Roofing for our complete tear-off roofing of our house and garage, along with gutter replacement. Although they were not the cheapest quote we got for this work, Kelly Reimer’s attention to detail and thorough walk throughs with us during the process of getting the quote made us confident that we wouldn’t have to deal with the typical woes of working with contractors - and we were right! Very thorough communication, professional crew, and the roof looks amazing! They even worked with us to install some insulation on our second floor while the roof was off. We felt respected and valued through the whole process and every question or concern we had was met with care and thorough information. As a bonus, Kelly has a good eye for color for the indecisive among us - the color we went with was not on our original list but he showed it to us thinking it was a good match. It was better than anything we had thought of ourselves and we are thrilled with the result!

We hired Reimer Roofing to do tear off and replacement of a leaky roof and gutters. Kelly was very responsive to all questions and provided detailed information regarding the many options we had in replacing our roofing and gutters. Kelly went out of his way to make sure we had the color we wanted for our chimney flashing. Crew was on time when scheduled and completed the tear off and roof replacement in one day. They were very good about clean up. All questions and follow up after the project was completed was done promptly. Kelly provided us with pictures during the replacement process detailing the work that was done as well as any trouble spots they came across during tear off. Very happy with the work and service provided and will be contacting Reimer Roofing and Remodeling with future needs.

We hired Reimer to redo the siding on our house, from a yellow-ish mustard color to a gorgeous soft gray (before and after photos included). I did not want to buy a new roof but a minor leak around a bathroom stack led to the realization that our 15+ year-old double layer roof needed to go. We live in a two-story colonial with a 2-car attached garage.Four quotes from local contractors received. Low $6,900, high $12,500. Reimer Roofing was not the lowest, nor the highest, but I felt more comfortable with Kelly Reimer and his company at the first meeting. I trusted my gut and moved forward. Here’s what I liked:Kelly Reimer took the time to take a good look at our existing roof as we walked around the house together. He explained the progression of the job from start to finish.He offered to come into the house, go up in the attic and make sure he did not see evidence of a bigger problem.He suggested installing a Broan vent for an existing main-floor bath fan, as well as installing a second Broan vent for a fan in the upstairs bath to make it easier for the electricians to install a fan when we decided to do so.Kelly’s company has developed a checklist, obviously meant to avoid common issues, and helped us make sure we were ready to have the roof done. This included things like covering our motorcycles, making sure our dogs were not left to run loose in the house while the work got done, and clearing the area around the home.Reimer Roofing uses a dump trailer rather than a dumpster, to protect the driveway and retain control of the delivery and removal of the trailer. No other company explained their process and I didn’t know to ask.The removed shingles are recycled. This may be common, but no other company brought it up during the quote process.Their team is large and is not sub-contracted.I did ask for samples of the products they were going to use, and Kelly provided samples of the water barrier and underlayment, which have changed significantly since our last asphalt roof was installed. He brought out large designer boards with five different colors of shingles. The Owens Corning TruDefinition Duration shingles had two color families, standard and Designer Colors Collection. There was no difference in price, and we chose Designer Color Summer Harvest. What a great choice!Materials were delivered the day before the new roof was to be installed.Communication was great. If Kelly said there would be an e-mail, there was an e-mail. Every time.On the day of the job, brother Scott Reimer arrived at the stated time and got to work preparing the site for the crew who arrived a little after 8:00 AM. Very efficient job, from start to finish. They finished the roof and were cleaned up by 6:00 PM.Speaking of clean-up, it was also outstanding. They swept, blew, and went over the area with a magnet to pick up nails. Again, this might be common, but no other contractor explained the job as well as Reimer Roofing did.Kelly came back after the job was complete to review everything with us. The roof looked great, there were a couple issues. We had rusted aprons behind the gutters we had replaced several years ago. We thought the old rusted aprons could be removed, but that proved to be complicated by soffit and fascia work we had done, so another option was offered. On the day of the job, Scott Reimer discovered that their new aprons were not going to cover properly and they had to custom bend metal to match the gutters. Unfortunately, the crew ran out of the metal and, on the lower gutters, used the aprons which didn’t quite cover. This was very evident and when we pointed this out, Kelly said he’d make it right.A couple days later, Kelly personally came out with more custom-bent metal and did just that. The end result is a gorgeous new roof and a happy homeowner.Integrity, honesty, humility, professionalism and a commitment to do what’s right. They started with a single roof tear-off, laid down a complete roof with ridge vents on my 3100 sq. ft. roof all in one day! The team of 10-12 men went right to work, good attitudes, and everyone knew what to do. They even worked together well. Everything was cleaned up and hauled away. They even cut out and put in a bathroom vent at the end of the day...in the rain! The next morning Scott came to make sure everything was cleaned up to our satisfaction- even all the nails.Next came the gutter crew a day or so later. These two guys were experienced and skilled. They took out the old and put all new 4" gutters and downspouts, re-routing the flow that really made sense. The gutter guard was installed and everything looked great. They cleaned up after themselves and were gone all in one afternoon.Then came in the vented soffits and fascia replacing the under-vented or no-vented soffits. They installed baffles for good outside ventilation into the attic space.Extra service at no extra charge: My old roof was leaking into the living room ceiling. After I signed the contract with Reimer in late winter, Scott came to fill in all the gaping nail holes to stop the leaking issue before the new roof job.We liked working with Kelly and he answered all our questions. Very personal and friendly and professional at the same time. Great service at a reasonable cost. They even include a Lifetime (50 year) no leak labor warranty to their shingle installation and chimney flashing. I highly recommend them.

Reimer Roofing did an excellent job quoting and replacing my roof that was damaged from a storm. I also went with their recommended gutter guard system and I'm happy with it so far. They were upfront and honest in their pricing and made sure I was happy with the work they performed. The crew was fast and efficient and left the area just as clean as it was before. Excellent communication and work! We had to pan around a stormy season. Finally when there was a break, Reimer came to our home with a huge crew and did the tear off/new roof all in one day! Everyone was very friendly, but the best was the clean-up! We didn't have to do anything. We recommend Reimer Roofing!

Reimer Roofing did an awesome job putting on our new roof. I can’t say enough about how quickly they completed the job, how well they cleaned up after and how knowledgeable Kelly and Scott are about what they do. We had a challenging part of our roof where it required a carpenter to add some fascia to the sides of our Florida room and the carpenters were very experienced and did a great job making it blend in with the main roof. Kelly was very accommodating when coming out for the estimate and working with us to complete the job when it was convenient for us. He is so friendly and made us feel like we were important and doing a good job for us, was his number one priority. He took the time to talk to us and explain in details everything that his crew would do with our roof. Estimates we got from other companies, they didn’t explain everything in detail and didn’t make us feel comfortable going with them. The other companies made us feel like they were just about getting the money. I highly recommend Reimer Roofing and we would definitely go with them again, if we would need another roof in 25 years.Service: Roof repair

We had a few estimates for our roof that were very close in price. We decided to go with Reimer Roofing because of how impressed we were with Kelly Reimer. I hired Reimer Roofing to remove existing siding and gutters from house and install new same. Also had gutters installed on fairly new garage. Kelly Reimer came over to house in a timely fashion to look over work needed and work up a quote. Kelly was at house on a Friday morning and by Monday I had a quote for the work. Thats what I like. The crews came about a month later and completed project in 3 straight days. Quite happy with work. Highly recommended!

I had a complete tear off and new shingles, venting, flashing and ice dam installed They told me the job could take 2-3 days. They arrived early on stated date with a dozen workers. The entire job was completed in one day! The workers were there late into evening cleaning up and asked when they were done, if there was anything else I needed. A few days later the Owner came by to ask me if I had any concerns and took a ladder and walked the entire roof and inspected the work done. He was at my home for a hour or so checking all the details of the work. I would, and have, highly recommended Reimer Roofing and Remodeling.
