We decided that we wanted to update the attic installation of our 18 year old home because we were experiencing issues with condensation at the top of a coupe walls in the winter. We looked at the attic installation and found that it had settled and was blown away from the top of the wall in a few spots.We contacted Rockweiler to get an estimate, and the estimator that came out was prompt and did a nice job of explaining what he found and explaining what some options were available to us. He sent us an estimate for three different upgrade options and let us decide what we wanted to do.After we decided what we wanted to do, we scheduled the upgrades. Rockweiler’s small crew was great. Friendly, knowledgeable and capable. They got to work and it only took them a few hours to seal up air leaks throughout the entire attic before blowing in the additional insulation that we requested.It has been two warm summer months since we had the attic sealed and increased the insulation from what ever R value it was after the years of settling to an R value of 60 and the benefit was immediately noticeable. The house is much cooler and quieter now than it was before. There have been several days where in the past, we would have had to use the air conditioning, but now we just closed the windows in the heat of the day, and opened up when the temperature dropped in the evening, And the house stayed comfortable. And on the sustained hot days, the AC runs much less to keep the house cool. This was a surprise to us because We hadn’t expected to feel a difference in the summer, we did these improvements for the heating season. I am looking forward to seeing how the house will feel in the winter heating season, and I have no doubt that we will see a noticeable drop in our heating costs.The Rockweiler team was also great with informing us about available rebates and tax credits to help offset costs of the upgrades. They put insulation in my attic. Fantastic job! The initial estimate was thorough and they gave me options so i could figure out what worked in my budget. The installers were on-time, polite, fast. They explained to me each step they did. I compared several companies and I'm glad I chose Rockweiler. The price was lower than some other quotes, the work was excellent and I've also noticed a reduction in my electricity bill. Highly recommend!

Rockweiler added insulation in the attic and buttoned up around the lights, bath fan, etc. They also foamed the basement rim joist and plugged any other open air escape routes! The team I had was so pleasant and informative. I would highly recommend!

We ended up not using their services, but I would go to them in a heartbeat with any future needs.It was a little wait for the estimate, but when they came they looked at everything much more thoroughly than other companies had done. They told us that we were missing critical insulation, and while they offered to do it and provided us with an estimate, Pat pointed out that since our home is energystar certified, it should be something that should have been done in the first place by our homebuilder. He recommended that before we used Rockweiler's services, we should contact the homebuilder first to see if they would address the problem. We ultimately were able to have the whole project taken care of by the homebuilder, but that would have never happened without the honest recommendations of Pat and the team at Rockweiler.

The Rockweiler men spend a good deal of time installing chutes, foaming ceiling holes, fixing the bathroom ventilation tubing, installing foam board over the kitchen and bathrooms and fixing anything else that was allowing warm moist air to move into our attic. They then blew in a foot of insulation. Before they started they covered steps and hallway with drop clothes then vacuumed -up pieces of lose insulation. I am happy and impressed with the work done.

The team at Rockweiler was stellar throughout the insulation process. We had them re-insulate our attic after we had vermiculite removed. Pat was very knowledgeable and shared a lot of information with us about different options and the process. Karen and the office staff were responsive and helped with coordinating scheduling. The team that performed the work was professional, courteous, and respected safety measures. And left the house clean!I also appreciated Pat and the team's help in going above and beyond in helping with energy rebates, and talking us through that process.The only drawback is they book out fast - call them now and schedule your work!

They arrived on time, they were Covid correct and did a great job cleaning up afterward, with little disruption. This is the second house I've owned that they insulated. 10 out of 10. We hired this company to apply closed cell foam in our basement around the basement sill. They had done this accurately, professionally in a reasonable timing manner. They cleaned up after themselves. They covered all around the sill and spend a little extra time and materials to seal around old windows sill without rising a price.Great job!Service: Furniture assembly

Brian came by and listened to the issue I was having with the basement being too cold. The previous owner that finished the basement never sealed the box sills with spray foam. They quoted me for multiple options of them removing the drywall ceiling or me. I ended up doing the drywall removal myself. The day of the installation Roberto and Aaron arrived and covered everything to prevent dust and spray from accidentally getting on anything. They removed the old batt insulation and then did spray foam. Their customer service and quality was some of the best in the home repair industry I have experienced. The basement is noticeably warmer and the situation was taken care of. We had to be out of the house when they sprayed because of the potential fumes and had to wait about 2 hours after they left. There was no smell when we returned and I could not tell they were there. I would definitely use them again in the future for any insulation work I need. They even plugged old holes from electrical wires near return air ducts.

From the original request for an estimate to the service of installing, we were very pleased with Rockweiler. We received more than six quotes and went with Rockweiler because they were honest with us and didn't try to oversell us. We first reached out to them in 2016. They asked us if we were planning to have any work done inside the house, and when we shared that we would be redoing the kitchen, they told us that we would want to wait to get the insulation. None of the other folks told us that. Had they not shared that with us, all the work we would have done would have needed to be re-done after the kitchen work. Additionally, when we asked them their thoughts on removing old insulation before putting down the new, they were honest and said in most cases it just wasn't necessary. There were other companies that quoted us this service and it double the cost of insulation.The staff in the office were also always very helpful and provided us without resources and information we found to be helpful.Highly recommend Rockweiler!

I had Rockweiler out to my 80+ year old house. They insulated in the basement and the attic spaces. It was truly an amazing transformation. I could immediately feel the difference in my house, and I have noticed that my furnace rarely kicks in. I cannot wait to see the difference in my heating bills. This was a project I had considered doing myself and after spending some time getting it started, it became apparent that I needed to call someone. I opted to call Rockweiler. The quote can be higher than what you might expect, but as it turns out there is quite a bit more work involved that just blowing insulation in. In terms of time, perhaps the last 15%-20% of the actual time spent on the project is blowing the insulation in. In our case we had Larry and Louie (I hope I have those names right) come to our house to do the work. Prior to starting Larry explained the their plan and invited me up into the attic to talk about if I wanted.I left them at their work for about 4-5 hours and stopped back in to check on how things were progressing. Larry was glad to explain where things were at. They were getting close to the point where they'd blow the insulation in and things were going well. I poked around in the attic and noticed the workmanship which was better than what I would have done, and far more complete. I'd even call it impressive.I left the house so that they could wrap up and finish their day. When I came home everything was cleaned up and as neat as it could be. The attic, a sea of insulation. If you are so lucky as to get Larry and Louie doing your work, you are in good hands. Thanks guys.

Pat (estimator/customer liaison) was fantastic to work with and very patient with my schedule changes, questions, etc. He gave sound advice and didn't use car-salesman tactics. The crew who installed the attic insulation was phenomenal. They kept me informed, were timely, and showed wonderful courtesy to the senior residents who live in the apartment building. It was clear they knew their jobs and materials. They also took time to report what they saw in the attic that needed attention. We are confident that the insulation work will be noticeable quickly this November and into the winter months, and especially so with our elevator which always seemed to pick up a cold draft from the attic. The draft disappeared, finally! Rockweiler performed exceptionally well.
