K&G Metals did a fantastic job in planning and constructing a 24 x 32 garage/workshop on our residential property. Mandy and the whole team were a delight to work with from start to finish. Mandy helped us design a building that looks great in a residential setting, despite our initial concerns that a metal building might look entirely too industrial. The features, colors, and details she suggested resulted in a truly good-looking building that fits in well with both our brick house and our neighborhood. The quality of the finished product is outstanding, including the spray foam insulation, which is keeping the interior surprisingly cool even without turning on the AC on the hot days thus far. The building construction is precise and solid. We are anticipating decades of maintenance-free use from this superbly built structure.

Mandy and the entire K&G Team were very pleasant to work with. This year was a very wet year, Covid, and supplies not the easiest to get a hold of! Thank the Lord the weather held off and the metal building was completed prompt and on time. It was a pleasure working with Mandy. I’ve always been a get it done yesterday type of guy and I’m sure I’m not the most patient guy to be honest! But as I said Mandy worked hard and they did a great job. I went to K&G and the customer service was surprisingly nice. They made the building fit my slab perfectly. The quality of the frame and metal were better than expected. The crew was friendly but I had a couple small issues. Very surprisingly K&G had them return and they corrected the small issues as soon as they could. This is nearly unheard of in this industry. They stand behind every building they do. This is a 24x31x12 plus 12 wide lean-to. If I were going to do this again I would not hesitate to go with K&G a second time.

Very satisfied with my new shop. Very well built. Looks great too. Alben and his crew were very professional and friendly. He kept me updated when he would be coming back to work on the building. The price was great. They even recommended that I go with a different dimension on my shop and it saved me a lot of money. I definitely recommend Alben and K&G Metals.

My experience with K&G Metals was nothing short of extraordinary. They went above and beyond assisting me. I was in a bind as my house had sold and due to outside factor’s my new home was NOT ready to move into as promised.I asked Mandy/Glenn/Matt if they could expedite the construction of my 30x30 building to allow me to store my household goods in. Much to my amazement, they were able to expedite the order and work a schedule that had my building complete in just 6 weeks. This included assistance with finding someone to pour the concrete pad (Mr Ortiz is a great contractor as well).The building is well-built and high quality. The 12-foot walls allowed for the construction of a loft that increased the square footage by 280 square feet. The roll up door allows for ease of use and sound access.The team at K&G were great to work with and would recommend them strongly to anyone seeking a building.

K and G did a great job at putting up our shelter/carport for our 5th wheel. I looked at several carport companies before choosing K and G. I found that most companies were a middle man for a manufacturing company and then they would contract with a third party for the installation. The results for the resales were inconsistent and all over the place. Some customers were satisfied and others not. The one thing that seems consistent with the others is their glowing reviews on their own websites (no surprises there). Also, with 3rd party involvement if a customer was disappointed, there was a lot of finger pointing and no help after the sale/installation.My advice if you're looking is don't decide based on reviews from the company website. Find an independent source. Personally we are very satisfied with K and G and I would not hesitate to recommend them.Johnny Y

K&G Metals installed a 20x16 metal building a year ago and is still standing strong, resisting the strong winds of North Alabama. The building had a leak initially and when reported to K&G a crew was there the next day to seal and repair. K&G recommended the concrete crew and they were awesome, formed and finished in record time and perfect for my building to remain dry and free from pests. K&G also recommended a Loan Company which helped me with the lowest interest rate possible at the time. I'm very pleased with the building and Service. Thank you Mandy!

K&G Metals turned out to be the best metal building provider within a 75 mile circle of my home in Gadsden, AL. I researched metal building contractors for almost a year before stumbling upon K&G metals. The material quality, structural integrity and moisture resistant are second to none ! If you look into these businesses, you will find that they are very similar to use car dealers and all they want to do is get you to sign a deal on a building they stay away from details, and they use third-party contractors who 80% of the time don't speak any English put your building up !? K&G's crew consisted of 3 local guys who have all worked for the company for over 15 years and are well-paid, they are highly skilled and detail-oriented that is probably why they're one of the few to offer a 20-year leak-proof guarantee ! I also found that on top of all these positives, their prices were competitive with the the other shady contractors, so if you need a high quality metal building & in Etowah or Dekalb County you would be foolish to use anyone else !

Overall, the building seems to be put together well. The installers did a great job. Gave it 3 stars because they up sold me 2k on insulation, only to find on INSTALL DAY that it was a thin foam moisture barrier. I called them about it, and they nicely said sorry, and that I should have been told. If I had known, I would have had a second contractor insulate building. Also, make sure you know exact colors of doors in advance. I was told I had plenty of time to pick colors, but when I decided to pick a color (other than white) for the roll up doors, they told they could not get that in time for scheduled build date. That too, should have been told to me up front, as I would have chosen sooner. As other reviews have said, the people are very nice to deal with, but vague on specifics, that can be costly and disappointing.

Their was a problem with the first crew, the way he lapped the siding. That crew leader was let go and no longer employed withK&G. Mandy Duvall sent another crew and all of the siding on my RV carport was repla ed with new material. I am very happy with the finished product and would feel confident doing business with K&G again.

Being a woman, I have found it difficult (at times) to be treated professionally. I would highly recommend K & G, to anyone who needed a building!! When Bama metal was in business I found them expensive and ,aside from the office, rude and not helpful at all! K & G didn't try to put me over my financial comfort level gave me several options to fine tune my experience, when they came out to put it up very professional, cleaned up the entire area when they were done. Have had such a wonderful experience I am saving up for my next building!!
