I called in this morning couldn’t get the guys name I was transferred to because he was rude from the start I tried explaining what was going on and what my insurance company needed he would cut me off very short as if he was upset about something before he even came to work and finally I just stated that is ok don’t worry about it! I don’t think someone with that much of an attitude deserve my time or check I needed immediate repairs was not trying to wait or run around looking for different people because I work and time wasted is money lost but his attitude and lack of customer service as if he was the God of roofs is just beyond! Fix it because as long as that guy is unhappy he will cost you a lot of business especially with greatly insured customers!

Jay Pate and Hathcock have done TWO jobs for me over the years; new wood deck w/ new covered roof and a new 2 stall garage. Both jobs have been constructed with detail and I had no problems that amounted to anything. Some reviews below would lean toward the contrary, and I just know you can't please all the people all the time. I would not hesitate to call them again, and would tell anybody looking for home improvement to call them. Now keep in mind it wasn't cheap, but the work doesn't "look" cheap either. Roll Tide.

For anyone considering using this company, please know it is like pulling teeth to get anyone to come out and fix something, even though your warranty is still good.My husband and I attempted to remodel our own bathroom and installed a shower unit that you can buy from Lowes. The walls in our house are crooked so we couldn't get it to stop leaking. We called Hathcock, who came highly recommended, to do our shower. We let them know prior to them starting work about the situation with our walls being crooked. They came and ripped out what we attempted to install and put in a beautiful shower stall. Only it continued to leak. We had them come out 3-4 times before they could get it to stop leaking (all due to the wall being crooked, which we told them about).Now we are finally trying to finish up a few things like tacking down the trim in the bathroom but have noticed the vinyl they installed, is coming up and is not glued down properly. I have called, emailed and emailed again for about 3 weeks now to have someone come out and they keep saying they will come next week, they will come tomorrow, even had them say "We will be there today." I have yet to see anyone from this company come to my house to fix this issue. Our bathroom is still under warranty considering it was just done November of 2014.I will NEVER use this company again to do anything in our house. Not to mention the guy who I've been dealing with is not very friendly at all. He always seems to have an attitude like he would much rather be doing something else than having to deal with a paying customer.

We were unable to get a quote from this company after coming out to do the assessment of our roof. They would not return our calls. We had to continually call to find out what was causing the delay. Total waste of time.
