What a joke. I ordered the Winston Lynn. First problem was they sent the wrong floor plan and delived it to my property. Came got it. Built another one. It’s been a year and a few days. My punch list still isn’t finished. They have sent to wrong door for the house they built 3 times. What a joke. I would never recommend them to anyone. The crown molding looks like a 3 yr old put it up. One piece may have 4 cuts in it from lack of measurement. How sad this company is. The kicker is I signed papers and there was $12,000 more added to my final bill. When I asked I was told hidden fees. And never have got that straight. Best of luck to anyone that is looking.

Don’t waste your time on a Winston Mobile Home. Literally had no answers from factory after 6 months of last visit from them witch was horrible finally comming Monday. We are almost a year here . $560 later from their electrical mess (when they did come last year)up out of my pocket lights still flicker And Will Need to be tended too. This is Crazy !I am done with this .My house is nice but not worth what was paid. You get half the satisfaction out of the disappointments.-Cracks everywheres not fixed on walls-Paint different colors everywheres- trim not caulked nor painted- wood beams have paint all over them that can’t be removed- shoe molding still not completely attached- two totally different textures on walls esp hallways- did I say the marriage live is completely crooked ! Like bad ! Literally turn my food to the side and that’s how it looks- lights flickering and or surging$What they caused last visit to FIX everythingIn witch they didn’t !!!- paint on window shams from last people who come- paint on floors from them also- No molding done-bedrooms and areas painted were painted with Exterior Paint! Yes Exterior and a totally different color. Way Darker !-all the kids were sick had to go to dr and leave the house due to the paint … nope still didn’t realize it was from the Outdoor paint they used.- white patches left not painted- oh did I say Paint on my Ceilings? Like strings all over ? They were by far painters that come out. -I had paint on a child car seat paint on my kitchen chair curtains both sets, my Tv did they compensate ? Nope just expressed to me how to remove their mess up- Paint on my white unpainted molding alsoI could keep going…… Literally Over This ! Not bashing who I bought it from but this Winston Company is just ridiculous!Went and bought some paint and will be painting myself with the correct paint 🎨 very soon . Unless they are bringing a pro painting crew I don’t want them in my house .They endangered my family’s health. Caused a huge mess, and fixed Nothing! One Mad BuyerService: Country home building

They say on their website, that they build with pride and the customer in mind. My first step into my home was a horrible experience. I called to invite the owner to come for a visit and do a walk through, have not yet had an answer. Someone from Winston called asked for pictures and said they would send someone out within 3 weeks. Still got a week or 2 before that happens. I paid 79,900 for a home that I'm determined was a practice run for some new people. See photos below. Not very happy with this company, even asked for a refund and then come get this one. There is over 60 photos with issues. Want share them all.Update! Their 2 weeks are up and still no repair. The last I heard the contractor had the work order and supplies to repair, and is supposed to call us with a date and time. That's been a week ago, still no phone call.A lot of money spent on something to not be satisfied with.

WARNING !!!! WE WILL NEVER EVER RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY NOR WILL OR FAMILY OR FRIENDS !!!! I would not give a STAR but I had to in order to post this. The day Our home was delivered the door and door frame was busted. It had to be propped up in order for us to have some kind of locked door. I had to go buy a Brinks security bar, !! Wrong kitchen island counter top, 4 rooms with the wrong paint, cabinet HAD 22 DRILLED HOLES in it going no where, cabinets cut, gashed , crooked and scratched up, walls gashed, wood cut, gashed, exposed beams scrathed , cut, vents messed up and broke, 3 inch screw plus rocks under flooring-which we are still finding more rocks, ordered two shower fixtures-only put in one, we ordered a larger shower so they took and redesigned our whole bath closet area without telling us , we never approved what they did, even though we asked several times for the layout which they did not have but then called and said "oh its ready!" Our closet was cut in half etc. NOW I still cant get hot water for my bathtub! Handle to the shower is on the outside of the wall-you have to turn hot water up and run back and forth to check it !! Wrong carpet plus now walking on the carpet in the livingroom we have found a large bolts , screws sticking out , then what feels like a hole in the floor, (not the first hole we found) they forgot to hook up my microwave so had to cut a large hole in my wall to fix it, two differentof colors in flooring in my entry to kitchen-their excuse-oh they didnt wax that area!! There was a gash the size of a softball or bigger on our ceiling above the island that they just painted over , they kinda fixed it but so much more is wrong with the ceiling that the guy said they will have to send someone else out to fix it ?? Havent seen them yet !!! Grout is cracking and washing away in our showers, mantle over stove had a huge gash in it.. oh it was replaced but only with one that was cut /gash on the other corner !! They cut a hole in my island to put an electrical plug but realized they cut the wrong side and just left the hole which sits under my garbage can for food to fall in it- was half way corrected, a HUGE GASH WAS CUT IN THE COUNTERTOP ON BOTH SIDES OF OUR SINK AND ONE BY OUR STOVE-YOU KNOW WHERE WATER AND STEAM GOES ! THEY WANTED TO JUST PUTTY IT UP !! PLUS EVEN AFTER WE REFUSED THEY STILL TRIED AND DENTED THE SCRATCHED UP SINK UP !! WE HAD TO FIGHT TO GET NEW COUNTER TOPS BUT ONLY TO HEAR HOW THEY WERE ONLY GOING TO REPLACE IT ONE TIME !!?? Sink scratched so bad- SO MUCH MORE !!! Their inspector (a joke) came out told one of the managers "She is Legit". The person over our home could care less!! After the inspector , his report , phone call, photos, my photos and my report, the manager never reponded or cared to call us! We had to contact him ! He was more interested in building a show home instead of fixing our home ! I guess since We Paid Cash for our home they had our money so could care less!! Our home should have never left the lot ! It seems that at least one of the head managers after all this trouble would have cared to come see our home but...NOPE ! So much more I could say !! My husband was so mad about this home that he would not take a key to the house and just did not even want to deal with the inside of the home until we finally moved in. He was just disgusted with it and even more disquested with dealing with the company. Look on their Facebook, they pride themselves in giving Bibles. I think the guys name is Boo Haughton. Tried to contact him..no response. They can have mine back- My Bible teaches Christians to treat people better than this. We are constantly cleaning paint off floors, exposed beams, paint drips, patching gashes in walls, fixing 100's of nail holes they refused to fix . WINSTON !!!!! WHO IS GOING TO PAY US FOR FIXING OUR BRAND NEW HOME ?????? THIS IS SO NOT THE HOME WE ORDERED !!!! Posting a just few photos !

Please DO NOT buy a Winston home. They do NOT care about quality. They throw it together and send it on its way. Our home has been at our land for 7 months and no one has come to fix anything. Our barn doors have not been hung, cracks in walls, ceilings have not been fixed and the worst yet is the water leaks!! I am still waking up to clean water out of floors and dealing with water damaged walls and baseboards. If you want a nice home Winston is NOT the one to buy from. This place should be shut down. I know several people that purchased a Winston home and have the same issues plus some. Also we don't have lights in THREE of the four bedrooms because the switches went out. The fans work but not the light. Another thing, we ordered the natural LIVE OAK shelving. They slapped some stain on a 2x and hung them on the wall. If you want to buy an overpriced box assembled by crack heads, Winston home builders is the place for you! I did my best for a year there welding frames, but from the TOP down this place is ran by incompetent people. Quality is an issue when you hire issues. Don’t even get me started on safety violations. Frames swinging overhead, forklifts slamming into the very piece your hood down welding on. Truly do your research before investing in this place. The best decision over ever made in my life was quitting this place on day #365. Edit: after reading these reviews, wow. I couldn’t find 1 believable 5 star review. With so many bad ones with proof, how are they still in business? Probably the FEMA contract. Close the doors and quit wasting materials.

I wish I had never bought this trailerPoor quality. They don’t care about you. They don’t care about repairing your home. The first people they sent out really didn’t know what he was doing and did more damage. Had electrical wire missing and no power to plug outlet. They are so many things that are wrong to tell. If this is how they care about there products they need to close there plantsI wish I had looked and found there reviews before I bought. Take away the employees review and they would have a one star. If I don’t get my trailer fixed I will put a sign on my vehicles about them and paradise home in TroyStay away from both

I Love Winston homes. They're gorgeous, and Winston puts a lot of pride into them. I'm still looking for this 1 particular year/model that I fell in love with. I hope I am successful because I really love this home. I'd recommend Winston to anyone if you're looking for beautifully done homes.😊😊

We bought a Winston home from them it's in the building stage they build a great home I suggest you check out their website have any questions call Andrew at Winston there's some really good YouTube videos on how they build their homes I suggest you check them out we bought the model of the upshaw.Update it's now 8 moths later and Winston has yet to produce the home now they say maybe in December.Update our house did arrive in Dec . It has a few bumps but it's beautiful. Most the pictures you see are after it's traveled across country and set in place across rough ground . Wait until they fix it. Their guys in the field are great. Shannon has been twice and we couldn't be more pleased. So give them a chance. And it also depends on who you buy the house from. Marty wright has handled it so well.

I finalized the loan on my 2021 Helicon 2.0 on December 7 and was told we could have delivery the week after Christmas. My home wasn't delivered until January 20. I have already made my second mortgage payment and my home still doesn't have siding on the ends. No one has contacted me and I have not received a call back with any updates. There are still areas inside that haven't been completed. The team they sent out (Greg and his crew) have been awesome but they can't get Winston to get the supplies they need to complete the job. I have a 7 year warranty on the home, but it doesn't matter if no one will return a call or even complete the set up of the home. I have tons of pictures and would be happy to speak with anyone considering a purchase from Winston Homebuilders. My number is two zero five, five two nine-two nine five seven. Please reconsider purchasing from Winston.

We ordered a home from this company and are still waiting on it to be built. They gave us a timeline of just a few weeks. I know that was a long shot, but was excited. We are renting a POD and have 1/2 our things in storage. 6 weeks after their date and we still don't know anything. No one will call us back. Their customer service is just junk! 130,000 for a house you would think that they would be more responsive.

Awesome!! Quality Built Home!! After shopping around, we realized that the Winston brand is extremely high quality and well built, but a fraction of the cost of the other High End/High(er) cost brand options. Couldn't believe how quickly the home arrived and how quickly the minimal touch up items were complete! 5 stars isn't enough! THANK YOU WINSTON!!

Purchased a $153,000.00 home and moved into it last month. There are more things wrong than right! They do not respond to phone calls and do not answer their phones. After leaving 15 messages on the phone and sending an email I finally got a reply. However, everything is still broken, warped or falling down! If and when my home is fixed or replaced I will update this review! Until then, really think twice prior to the purchase of a Winston Home. Thank you!

My dad works there as a guard. He has worked there for about 3 or so years, minimum wage, with 12 hour shifts. When he works weekends it's 12. But if he works week days, he has to come in 30 min. early without pay. And he has to check all the workers that leave the plant. He does a good job for the people, make his rounds every time on time. He does real good to be 86 yrs. old. But the workers make a good wage that work in the plant. And they are good to work for. I noticed the inside of the plant I could see was clean.

Purchased and payed cash for a new 2020 Lyn home at a cost of $124,120.00 I have 24 pages of problems with the home . As of now they are working to fix said problems but slow in coming. Will update this post and further experience. I’m hoping to say positive things about this company. Time will tell. After long agrevation they have yet to fix the problems they promised they would fix. Apparently they can manipulate these reviews some how and make you think there product is better then it really is. I can’t even see my wife’s review we’re she sent in photo’s and a list of the problem’s . I’ve been more then patient and have no patients left.

I'm in tears, we are surprised this home even passed inspection and left the plant. $186.000 we paid for the Helicon. So disappointed. I have a list with 30+ things that are wrong. After reading other reviews of customers we even more discouraged. I bought a Winston home for well over $100k. It is hands down the worst decision I've ever made. Brand new house leaks everywhere. Floors are popped up and creaking. Their contractor somehow don't feel it. Now I'm being told by them that they won't be fixing anything even after I was sent numerous emails assuring me that all of these issues would be handled.

I bought a 160k home and expected I was getting a great well made home. After moving in realized I had many things wrong that needs repairs. When someone comes to repair they never have everything they need, they never know everything they are suppose to repair and they never repair for it to be completely fixed to have no further issues and for it to look like a new home. I have been in my home a year now and still have issues that I am getting many excuse for and many reasons why it hasnt been repaired or why thwy arent repairing it as promised. ASHLEY that is over ordering the repairs is a joke and doesnt deserve her job because she could care less. I really wish I wldve made a better choice and got a home built than buy one that they could care less if its built well enough for you to be happy in it for the rest of your life.. They definetly drop the ball on their builds and their customer service

Nails coming up through the floor ripping the flooring,bowed out walls, crown molding and throughout the entire home have unsightlynail holes and gaps. We have a list of 45+ things that are wrong.We just purchased ' the helicon' .' There are things that simply can't be fixed without ripping it all out and and starting over. $186,000.why did this pass inspection before leaving your plant? We just purchased and can't move in.

We bought one of their homesin October of last year it has been such a hassle to get them to come back and fix anything and their craftsmanship on their house is very poor really wish I would have done some more research on them before I decided to go with them. They don't return your calls. I would not recommend them to anybody.

I worked at Winston for 2 years as a team leader in the sidewall department Tyler Hayes your review is a joke Johnny and Ricky make it very stressful the best one in the whole plant is Anthony Hood. Boo is a good guy but honestly sherry, and Erin are the worst people to have in office. Winston home builders management is the worst The management is why I will never work for Winston again

I went to Winston Home Builders to check out the facility and see if I would want to work there.Ive been in the mobile home industry for 29 years and I can say I've never seen a more efficient plant.They build beautiful homes and I think Winston will go a long way.Time will tell if I join the team but I was very impressed.
