It may be well built structurally but the finishes on our house are terrible. We are very disappointed because we spent almost $200,000 and are going to have to redo everything. Paint that don’t match (after someone came out and basically had to paint the whole house). Water leaks (my husband fixed) on every faucet. I wish I could’ve just told them to take it back🙃 Deer valley might want to be more careful with the crews they hire because it’s giving them a bad name.

Rodney over the WV office is absolutely rude. I would never buy from him just from his terrible, egoistic manner. Called to get a quote and turn around estimate today, in which he was extremely rude when asking what we wanted to spend and I said around about 250k, he practically laughed and said that’s $100 a square foot and impossible. Then we sat in silence for a moment….As if it’s impossible to find a home for 250k, LOL! Either way, he will not be getting my sale. Big head!!!!

John was extremely helpful. I am a park owner looking to get homes bought & moved in, and although it wasn't the right fit, he was more than willing to help me find the right fit with someone else. He went above and beyond to help even though I wasn't a customer.

We spent two years looking for our dream home. We walked into a Deer Valley Mossy Oak Series and fell in love. Ordered ours that day. I cannot speak for any other build they have done but what we received was not the perfect home that was on display. It has been over 18 mths and we finally just got the tiles in bathroom redone. They were a mess. My list is way too long to post. We purchased our home before covid, so the long list of AGONY WE WENT THROUGH should have never left the factory. My floors were covered in overspray, drain line connections on top of duct work. Nail holes in tub surround, The worst mitre cuts ever seen, I was blessed to have had a good group of repair men.Update: The issues that we had at start have not affected the basics of our home. It is a heavy built and very sturdy home. If I had to do it over, I would still buy a Deer Valley. Until you walk in one and feel the difference compared to other man. homes, you cannot understand what heavy built is b

Sometimes we make poor choices. This was one of mine. Live and learn. Just because it’s nice and heavy doesn’t mean it’s good.

Home just little over 2 years old. "Luxory Vinyl" flooring finish wearing off. Floors show where furniture has sat. Flooring not lasted smooth. Windows leak when it rains. Nail heads on dry wall showing everywhere. Very poor workmanship. So sorry I spent so much of this poor workmanship flawed home. Buyer beware.

We love our Deer Valley Aimon!!! They were so quick to come fix the minor things we found wrong (A window was cracked) and then we found a leak last weekend and they were here on Tuesday fixing it! Such great customer service/repair guys! Such a great home. Our house feels so safe and sound and no cracks or anything! We are so happy with our purchase and have recommended deer valley to a lot of friends & family!!! If I could give ten stars I would **********

Water proof flooring? I think not when there are gaps between the tiles. Trim work looks horrible. Tiles in the shower that were not properly installed when it was delivered and still not fixed. We had a cabinet fall off the wall. Needless to say my husband ended up fixing it. Countless other things that just look bad! Very disappointing!!

Update: it’s now been almost 4 years in the house and we are having to completely replace the roof. My suggestion if you buy a modular home is to get your own roofing company. Most roofing companies will offer a better warranty and will Definitely do a better job.Original post: We had our modular home built in July 2016. I'm writing this review a little over a year later. We had several leaks in our roof right after it was built. They came out several time to try and repair these leaks. It was finally resolved. Over a year later we started having leaks in other places. I called out a professional roofer and he said the roof was poorly done. The shingles do not overlap and the valley where the roof meets has to be completely replaced (est $1200). Deer Valley has stood by their 1-year warranty and will not be assisting in fixing the roof. I'm not surprised, they were very hard to work with in getting anything fixed. Each time a different contractor would come out and tell us how all the other contractors did a poor job. This whole company is doing a poor job!

This is been the longest and most frustrating experience that we have had in most of our lives. We were told by Henchs when we looked at a model home they had on their lot that they had the same duplicate with the same trim out and all the countertops and the white trim and the mirrors all the way down to the smallest details setting at another lot ready for us and when it was delivered it did not have any of these things that were the same so we’ve been sitting here for months and months waiting for somebody to come and put new countertops new kitchen islands new trim work new mirrors and a lot of small details. And all we’ve had done is the run around and passing the buck and told that they would be here in a month and a month would go by and then we were told a week and then we could go by and then we were told they didn’t have all of the things ordered yet and it would be another week and another week and we have not seen them since. They don’t call us to keep us informed on anything, we have to call them and continue getting more dates that they don’t show up for. I would not ever recommend or use deer Valley again and for anybody reading this if you don’t want a headache that last a very long time then stay away from this company!!!!!!!!!! To top it all off the countertops that it was supposed to have Arnel discontinued so we don’t even get the ones that we were supposed to get originally. Buyer beware. I forgot to add that they do not insulate very well because our electric bill is outrageous and more than a Home we were in before that was twice the size.

Not a five because of after the sale. I chose the Deer Valley for the construction attributes. However, buyer beware. While it is house construction with sheet rock through out, they will sneak in trailer molding in the closets versus real crown molding. Also, the crown molding will not be painted, nor will the joints/nail holes be filled. If you order ceiling fan bracing and wiring, of course for an extra price, do not expect any extra wiring for the fan and the light. One switch. Inspect the trailer real hard, quality control is not a plus. Even look at the air outlets, mine are crooked in the room.Update after the first year: You really get to know the home and see the quality issues. Just walking the floors you can hear the creaks from loose sub floor. Reported to Deer Valley and told they would send a crew . Never happened. Identified a cabinet door that swung backwards during the initial inspection, and told no problem. After months of waiting, they mail the wrong size door. Call and told they will send another. I guess they stall till the end of the year and then forget you. Got your money and gone. Watch out for the review pumping up by employees with 5 star ratings. Not a 5 star operation.

We moved into our home in October of 2019. First we had lights that wouldn't work, then we had a water leak, which they fixed, but then we had a roof leak. I temporarily fixed it, but then the other night we had two more roof leaks. I had a roofing friend come look at it and he was amazed at how poorly the roof was constructed. Paid good money for this home and expected quality. Anything but. Would not recommend.

I want to share my recent experience with the guys at Deer Valley Home Builders in Guin, Al. I purchased a home in July 2021, took a while to get here just like everything else is during these times. The home arrived, was set up and there were a few issues that needed attention. The folks at Deer Valley in Guin were excellent in communication, keeping dates that were promised and getting our home trimmed out and repaired after final delivery. I want to mention a few guys and recommend them and their services. Mr. Dustin Hulsey, Mr. Thomas Thompson, Mr. Jimmy Myles and also Mr. Jeff Holcomb all need to be recognized for their customer service. I couldn't be happier and the problems that I had were all taken care of to the complete satisfaction of me and my wife. Thank you guys, keep up the good work.

We bought a Deer Valley home back in February. We love the home, the floor plan was just what we wanted. Waited 4 months to get the home, covid set back delivery time. We still love our home but whoever did the drywall work on our home should be in trouble and the inspector who sent it on without repairing should be in trouble. Horrible work on some of the walls and corners. They have done some repairing and came back to do more repairing but if I am the repair crew I would be embarrassed and mad that they are repairing what should have never come that way to begin with. Some of our walls looked like an old house was being repaired. The contact rep is not very professional either. Won't return calls to a customer just sends the crew.

We love our deer valley except for the leaking roof and the poorly installed floors. We been in our home for over five years. And after several contractors from deer valley repairing our roof it still leaks same spot. The floors have gaps in them. Deer valley has been great about trying to fix the problem with our home. Not sure if it is a design problem with the doghouses or material problem but the house still leaks. You would think after sending crews to patch n repatch it. They would try putting on a completely new roof!!

Biggest mess I have ever experienced in my life, poor follow through. House was dumped on property, specs not correct, setup team didn't have enough material and never even brought the 2 sets of steps needed to even get into the house. You get your one trip warranty and they just tape and glue stuff and then to be told by the crew none of the tile is sealed, that's on the homeowner.Regional Homes sold us this sinking ship, they had nothing but sub par contractors doing work. AC was installed improperly and now AC company won't even call us back when we left several messages regarding missing parts.Initial setup of crew could of cared less where we wanted home placed. The quote "finishing crew" set everything up with no power and never even unwrapped the appliances. Damage to floor in many places we have since found in closests. The most disgusting part is they got money for all this so called quality craftsman ship that is an absolute horror show. Sub par faucets and fixtures that look nice till you use them and they fall apart. Paint is sprayed on with over spray in areas and very poor quality. Have never seen walls that stain so fast by just leaning on them.Doors not standard sizes and can't fix them without special ordering parts. Ordered Storm Doors with Screens and got solid glass Strom doors that don't even latch closed.Decking on back porch is untreated when we where told it was treated. Loaded with imperfections dips and splinters.......Only thing I can tell people about Deer Valley or Regional Homes is RUN AWAY.......We went with Deer Valley because of the whole "Heavy Built" claim thinking this would be better quality.... its not... its just a flashy over priced trailer.

I have been in business for over 21 years. I have worked for many different manufacturing home companies. For the last 5 years I have been working for Deer Valley Home Builders. By far one of the Best Manufacturing home builders that I have ever worked for. Starting in the plant, they build a Superior home, to the salesman that sell their houses, finally to the service department that services their houses. A Great group of guys and ladies to work for. They build a great house, and stand behind the product that they build and sell. In the last five year's, I have seen them go above and beyond to make their customers satisfied and happy with their purchase of their Deer Valley Home. As a contractor working for Deer Valley, the service department is by far the fairest and most understanding service department that I have ever worked for. Working for Deer Valley is like a family environment, from the CEO, who knows you by name, too the guys in the plant. I highly recommend a Deer Valley home, not only for the quality of the home, but the quality of the service that you will be provided.

In 2014 we purchased the Briar Ritz. We fell in love with the look and were sold on the "solid" construction and energy efficiency. After our first winter we've quickly fallen out of love with our new home. We can not keep this home warm, the floors are constantly cold. Last month we had a $500 electric bill and froze our butts off. Deer Valley advertises this home as an energy efficient home, you'd think for the $240,000 price tag we would be able to stay warm. We're now in the process of spending an additional $15,000 to upgrade the floor insulation and heating system. Very disappointed!!!

This is one of the worst companies I’ve ever had to deal with. They use the cheapest products while charging $$$ big prices. Save your support and go to Clayton instead. These folks won’t even fix what’s already broke and we’ve had this home for a little over a year. The ceiling has a crack in it, the “marriage line” has lifted and cracked, the coloring of the floors is scraping off. They won’t accept my calls to hear what I have to say and they delete comments on Facebook but they can’t delete my honest review.

We purchased a modular home that was built by DeerValley. We love our home and any issues we have had with a new home they have quickly taken care of. I would recommend their modular homes to anyone. They have been a great company to work with, the dealer we purchased it from lacks but all I have had to do is call DeerValley and they have taken care of it. I just go straight to them for any issues and not the lot we bought it from.

We special ordered our home so we didn't have a chance to see it on the lot. I would never recommend doing this. You pay for something before you get it. We've been in our home for not quite a year and each day I am thoroughly dissapointed in the buildquality and attention to fit and finish. Bumpy floors, unlevel frames and ceilings. Poor workmanship in general. I felt sorry for the good gentleman they sent out to fix problems, what do you tell him, "tear it down and start over?" It obvious the builders were more concerned with the speed of the build rather than craftsmanship. A fine waste of fairly decent materials.

We bought the Koinonia last year, we moved in, in May of 2014. Now is August 2015. We had some major floor plan changes compared to their "standard floor plan". Deer Valley was very accommodating for most of our requests. We have a 5 bedroom, 3 bath, 2400sqft (2600sqft if you count the porch). The house is completely electric, even our water (it is a well). The highest electric bill in the summer has been $187. The highest in the winter was like $350, that being said, our pump shed for the well wasn't completely done last winter, so we had to keep heat lamps in it all winter. My wife's parents were also staying with us during that time, so they were home 24 hours a day. I think this winter, our highest bill will probably be around $200. I would definitely recommend deer valley but don't be afraid to ask for changes in the floor plan. Make the house the way you want it to be, you will be the one living there. If you pick the cheap options, expect cheap results. We took the kitchen and shower from the briarritz and had them put it in our house. We basically picked what we liked from all Deer Valley houses and had them put in our Koinonia. If your mobile home dealer doesn't act like he wants to work with these changes you want, find another dealer. Deer Valley has no problem making the changes that the customer requests.

My husband and I bought our home in April of 2017. They delivered 2 sections and were supposed to bring the 3rd the following day. There was a horrible storm. When my husband went to look around. When he walked in, water was over his feet. Water was coming in thru the living room ceiling fan. We put a 45 gallon garbage can under the fan it was full in 20 minutes. It was 2 months before we could move in. Roof leaked. They sent roofers 3 times to fix it. And the paint.... it awful. If you bump the walls, it leaves scuff marks. Forget about trying to clean the walls. They turn splotchyWe already need to repaint most of our home. Deer valley won't help us at all.

Bought it new in 2008. It's been a battle fighting leaks and plumbing issues ever since. Roof leaks, the back door leaks from day one. Stay away ! Do not buy ! Most of the 5 star ratings are from people who work in their plant , NOT CUSTOMERS !

Most beautiful home around and also the best trailer plant to work at within 100 miles. They show employers respect and really care about each one of us
