I called Matt a few days ago and then the next day he sent someone .I had a good experience with Intel electric communicated with Matt about what I needed to be done to install my 2 lights and vent hood. Matt referred me to a company to get my vent hoodInstalled. Scott installed my 2 lightsFixtures and an outlet in my kitchen. Nice guys but…to just view a job and provide a quote there will be a $350 charge. Supposedly a verbal communication of this minimum fee is provided, however I don’t remember the service technician providing me with his information when he came to my home. In addition, when I check the Website the minimum prices listed are far below $350 and presumably include some work towards an end product. I would recommend that Intel post their minimum fee on their website so that other consumers are not caught off guard. I basically paid $350 to have them just come to my house and give me a quote of $1200 for a bathroom fan installation. I went with another service provider who was able to complete the job for 2/3 that cost.

I’ve used them before and they were great but this time around I was very disappointed. They were scheduled to be at my house 7:45 AM and didn’t show up until 4 PM and then they had to come back the next day because they had the wrong lights. The real problem came when they left a hole in my kitchen ceiling from where the old light fixture was. They did not inform me before installing the recessed lighting that I would have a hole in my ceiling. When I asked if they would be back to patch the hole I was told “we’re electricians” and that they don’t do sheetrock and then they still had to come back a third time by my request as I noticed they forgot to install the light switch dimmer. Overall, disappointed in the professionalism and lack of communication.Service: Light fixture installation

Had what I thought was a small project, changing out a few outlets in my house to get it up to code for sale. Turned out to be a bigger project than I thought. Intel Electric answered the phone on the first call, scheduled the appointment without hassle, worked with me on the issue so they didn't go in blind, the technician showed up on time, and knocked out the work in well under the time I was quoted. Dangerous driving on the highway and nearly caused 2 wrecks, including veering across an exit ramp, doing 90mph, and cutting cars off. I reported this to the owner and had no response. Stay far away from this company! They are reckless and allow irresponsible dangerous habits by their employees.

This time they did our electrical box in the house they put a new one in and outside they put n a new meter and box. We are up to code. Fantastic work we highly recommend them. Matt and his team were great! The breaker to the house was going off at random times and we kept loosing power to the house. Today after tripping it, power wouldn’t get back on. Intel Electric is absolutely the best service I’ve used I’ve used in Anchorage! They were willing to come later in the day to help with an outlet problem and found others due to the age of this building. Those were taken care of immediately, and another electrician was here the next day to replace others and install new light fixtures. Lots of info here, but I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them! The electricians came in earlier than expected which was nice. They called and checked if I was home to start working on the issues. They communicated what was going on clearly and recommended replacing my lights with LEDs to save on the electric bill as well as brighter lights! They didn't want to install the bathroom fan I had bought at Lowes, so they provided their own at a cost of $220.00, which I was OK with. It took 21 minutes to install it, and the price ended up being $569.00. That comes out to $349 for 21 minutes of labor, or roughly $1,047 an hour...to install a new bathroom fan! Very disappointed in the price which, by the way, was never up front...not even a ball-park estimate. I will not be utilizing "Intel" for any future electrical needs.

Intel informed me that a service would be there the next morning, but the tech (Scott) showed up that afternoon. That is service. Highly recommend Intel. Our electrician was wonderful, he came on time, was pleasant and respectful, and did a great job with what he was able to do. The reason I am not giving five stars is that when I first called to set up the appointment, I received a quoted range, for two outlets and a light fixture swap. In the end, only the light fixture swap and one outlet was installed. The price ended up being $300 over what I was originally quoted. I emailed to ask if I was being charged accidentally for the second outlet that was not installed, and I did not receive a response.

This crew is great. They helped me switch from a gas range to an electric induction range and they also installed an electric vehicle charger. Both of these were 50 amp connections from the breaker through the attic to their various destinations. Everything works great and looks great.

Matt was on time, respectful of our home, putting on shoe covering when he seen the wood floors. He quickly determined that the transformer was not the problem, instead he found a faulty connection and was able to repair the connection. Matt and his team do great work at very reasonable prices. I had them troubleshoot, repair and replace almost all of my homes outlets and 10 or 12 light switches as part of a complete remodel. They were on time professional and the job was done right the first time. They respected my home and did a great job cleaning up when they were done. What would have taken me a week to do they managed to knock out in a couple of hours. When I go to sell my home I know the electrical will meet all code inspections.
