They are excellent at communicating with their clients, they are punctual, they are friendly, they are considerate, they are efficient, and they offer great value for your money. I would not hesitate to recommend them to a friend that needs roofing services, actually I already have. The owner of the company was present and was actively working everyday of the job. I called in early July for a roof estimate for my mother's high-pitched roof. I was told I would be given an estimate in approximately three weeks. I called to follow-up in August and was told they were not giving any estimates or signing any new contracts this year due to the cost of materials increasing and they can't possibly know what the costs will be next year. All roofing companies know the costs are increasing, they knew weeks earlier, they knew in July, they knew in June and then waited until it was too late to line up other estimates. This is an unfortunate way to do business. Tracy would like to blame this review on other factors (she is defensive) but my frustration is absolutely not about an earlier contracted company that very professionally had to cancel all high pitched roofing contracts for loss of their key roofer. My disappointment with this company is that they canceled the estimate so close to the end of summer and then shockingly admonished me and treated me with unnecessary hostility when I expressed my disappointment. Tracy absolutely completed her berating of me with: "WELL I HOPE YOU LINED UP MORE THAN ONE ESTIMATE!!!" She was clearly too busy cutting me off defending herself to remember she said that, but she absolutely did. The reality is, I didn't think I had to line up multiple estimates, I had depended on their reliability. Had she handled this with professionalism, much like the other company that had to cancel, I would have felt differently. However, Tracy has a cold and unprofessional demeanor and is hostile and quickly agitated. In hindsight I am glad they canceled the estimate. We don't need the roof done until next year and my 87 year old mother deserves a company that is customer service oriented and kind. The day after I called them and was met with such a condescending demeanor, I received an email that they would not be giving any more estimates this year. If you want a reliable company, or at the very least a company that is customer service oriented, this surely isn't the one. We are old time Alaskans and we expect better.

Tracy put us at ease with her honesty and guided us through the process. No hassles and answered our questions. I highly recommend Premier. We are very pleased with Premier’s work on the removal and replacement of the roof on our home with Malarkey Windsor shingles. We had no idea what roofing company could properly handle our extremely steep and difficult roof while meeting our exacting standards. We contacted 10 roofing companies and requested bids. We researched the manufacturer’s installation instructions and had extensive telephone conversations with the technical representatives at Malarkey. Throughout the installation, we scrutinized every detail of Premier’s installation. We chose Premier because: a) the company owner is the lead hands-on worker at the job site with complete control over a small and efficient crew that gets paid by the hour instead of by the square. b) The owners (Dan and Tracy Jones) have decades of practical experience running their own company in Anchorage c) Dan was not intimidated by hundreds of technical questions that were asked both during the bidding process and also while the work was underway. Dan and his workers were always polite. Dan gave answers to questions based on his practical experience and would strive to meet our expectations. d) Premier has an outstanding work ethic and they obviously take pride in what they do. e) Premier was prepared to handle unexpected weather conditions and protect our property f) They kept their schedule as promised and remained focused on exceeding homeowner expectations through to job completion. Companies like Premier are very hard to find these days and we highly recommend them.

Our home is on the Anchorage hillside and our roof shingles were old and would blow off every time there was a wind storm. I contacted several roofing contractors for estimates this spring. Dan and Tracy at Premier Roofing responded promptly to provide an estimate. Their estimate was a good value and I read many positive reviews about Premier Roofing. We were very impressed with their professional responsiveness and very happy with their workmanship. Dan and his crew arrived on time everyday, removed our old shingles and roofing materials down to the wood decking, replaced all the flashing and roof vents, installed new underlayment and new shingles. They laid down tarps to capture debris during removal and cleaned up and hauled away all the old roofing materials. We are very satisfied with the final installation. I am thoroughly impressed with this company's professionalism and the work quality. Owner Dan is personally on the job site daily. He and his crew pay meticulous attention to details, making sure everything is completed with perfection. The crew is quite considerate. They play music at the lowest volume so not to disturb neighbors. They pick trash, debris on the ground at the end of each day. Secretary Ms. Tracy is polite and patient. She answers my e-mails promptly. She is amazingly knowledgeable about roofing business. She prepares documents with such fine details that I hardly have the need to ask further questions. She provides clear and concise instructions of what I need to do prior to the job commencement.From the front line roofers Dan and his crew to the ancillary staff Tracy, they all have demonstrated superb knowledge and outstanding skills. Working with Premier Roofing was a breeze. When we requested a quote, Dan, the owner, was the only contractor out of 5 contacted to actually get up on our roof and spend a good half hour viewing the site. His estimate was very thorough and gave several options to choose from. Premier Roofing showed up when they said they would, worked tirelessly for a minimum of 8 hours a day (often more) and delivered on their promise of a quality job. Dan worked at our site every day with his crew. He answered any questions we had and pointed out any deficiencies he found. We are highly satisfied with our roof and would wholeheartedly recommend Dan, his wife and office manager, Tracy and the rest of the crew for any roofing job you might need. Premier had replaced the roof of one of our neighbors a couple of years ago. I had watched that project from start to finish. I was impressed with their work ethic, and the quality of their work. I also discussed Premier thoroughly with the neighbor. So, when it was time for a new roof on our house, I called Premier. I felt that all of our questions, concerns, and options were addressed in an honest and straightforward manner. we felt that the estimate was reasonable. They are not the cheapest, but I believe in the old saying that one gets what one pays for. We were informed that a price increase was imminent, not as a pressure tactic, but as a bit of information to consider for our decision. RE: our project, Dan (owner) and Chase were very professional, personable, and punctual. They put in solid workdays and finished the job when they said they would. They cleaned up the worksite every day prior to leaving. We are quite pleased with the results.
