Very nice museum and facilities. Really enjoyed waking around Skagway. There's a nice coffee shop, restrooms, and souvenir shop right next to the museum in the train station building. Lots of interesting things inside the museum but also outside around the building also.

Great little museum with an odd collection of items. All based on Skagway but that is where I lost the thread, lots of helpful pamphlets around the place. Worth $2 and 30 minutes of your time.

Small, but great exhibits. I would expect to see more history on the native people.

Excellent museum. We learned a lot we would have missed if we'd just visited the National park building. And a very reasonable entry fee.

A great little museum with well-curated items from the gold rush era as well as from the native Alaskans who originally occupied this area. The docent was very knowledgable and eager to answer questions that we had. For just $2 it is hard not to recommend this to those wanting to dig a little deeper in understanding the history of Skagway.

A nice detour from all the shops while visiting Skagway. You can walk the entire museum in about 20 minutes or longer if you spend extra time with any of the exhibits. My son was given an Alaskan flag after completing a scavenger hunt for kids. Worth checking out. Small fee for adults($2)

Well. All I can say is don't eat the salmon in Skagway! It's the worst ever! I ordered fish and chips at a place and the fish was super skinny! Tasted bad as well. I would have thought that Alaska would have good salmon!!

For $2.00, it was the right price. Some really cool artifacts about the history of Skagway. There do seem to just be some random "old" things that aren't really connected to Skagway scattered throughout the exhibits.

$2 entrance, great artefacts, photos etc. Knowledgeable staff. We were the only ones there. And a real diversion from the main st jewelry stores.
