Good overnight if it does not rain. The pull thru deluxe sites appear to be in a construction process however the layout is poor. Sewer is in the path where wheels travel and have no termination caps. The site is mostly dirt, roots and untrimmed bushes with deep ruts in progress. Expect mud bowls if it rains.New employee, Sherri, assigned to organize the park was injured in an accident and nothing but chaos remains.Good thing we arrived early. The gas station (3 bears) and store were nice.We had FHU so did not use park facilities.

Stay at the hotel. Not a good move. No refrigerator, no coffee but there was a coffee maker, no soap and no ice. I have had better stays at Motel 6!! Had to beg for coffee and did not receive any for the two day stay that I was there. Was going to stay a couple more but got tired of wasting my money!! Beg for soap and was told they don't think they supply soap for the rooms anymore! What a joke, accuse my English but this place sucked!!

Been in here twice in the last week to get ice cream, once the "cook" was on break, the other time, it was 7:00pm, an hour before they closed, but the "cafe" closed at 6:30. Both times the owner, Connie Dooley, was in there with 2 other employees (and zero customers) and Mrs. Dooley couldn't pick up an ice cream scoop. Prices are sky high, customer service is HORRIBLE, and like previous reviewer, they have a don't give a hoot attitude!! Drive 1/4 mile North to the Trapper Creek Outpost and restaurant, Great Food and Great friendly service. Gas is available here as well!! And prices are better. We were forewarned earlier by the locals to not go in there and support this place, we should have listened. Last time I'll ever step foot in there.

The owner Connie is a mean nasty lady. Doesn't care about locals, well not bend over at all for customers. Has no customer service skills. Food is overpriced. Water in restrooms does not work properly (eather hot or cold). Laundry room has more machines broken than working. Showers run cold and hot, you never know. Have witnessed owner yelling at her staff belittling them in front of customers. I can not wait for this place to close down! It has really gone down hill in the past few years. I recommend going to the trapper creek trading post about half a mile more towards fairbanks. Mile 115.5 way friendlier people that care.

Two stars only as The RV park is pretty nice wirh a common area and gazebo and easy to drive thru spots. It is a little confusing as to where to park as there are few if any directional signs and the spot signs are only @ 1 inch tall. Hookups are good and well placed.Service however is poor with rude attendants and don't give a hoot attitude. Tried to get the shower/toilets open after 9 pm and NO code given. Asked them to extend the closing for half hour for the rest of our group and told flat no. They referred me to the showers a mile up road. This was the main reason for staying here. Apparently the cleaners work at that time w no lattitude for after hour access no matter what. There is another toilet in the park but not well marked.Milkshakes are good and food server/cook was nice and responsive.

I would have given them a 5 star rating, but; I've stayed in many RV parks. This is the first one that I've seen that charges for showers. The shower is on a timer sort of like a self serve car wash. When the time runs out you have to add money. Also if you want to shower after 9PM, forget it. They lock the door.

Trapper Creek Inn & RV Park has,Store,Espresso Bar,Internet Connections,Laundry,Showers,Gas Station and everything else you could want. Though the prices are a little steep, they have everything you need in a place things are hard to get. They have a nice size store with very friendly folks working there. I was very pleased with all the services they offer and all in all, I have a great experience every time I go there. Trapper Creek Inn & RV Park is the last place for quite a while to get gas or anything for that matter, if your heading North. So be sure to top off the tank there if your in need of gas.

We camped at the campground. Nice wooded area not to heavy with trees. Showers are clean and roomy, you pay for showers. You have to go to store for showers and restrooms.

Do not stay here. We tried to check in for a camp site and was told the manager was on a 30 break and had to wait. So we had dinner in the cafe. The manger young lady that checked us in had no personality. We paid the $20 for a tent site and was told to pick one. We went to the bathroom and noticed the manager was doing her laundry. No one told us or handed information that the bathhouse, laundry closes at 8 pm. To our surprise when we attempted to go there at 9 pm it was closed. We talked to the manager about it and was totally rude and blew us off. After staying at many campgrounds and rv parks for the past 40 days this has the worst customer service.

Not much good can be said about crapper creek outt & bs park. None of the ever folks like it. Too many rules no bathroom after 8 pm, grumpy staff often just rude..high prices (esp. gas), mediocre food, always a line for the toilet and usually dirty, always line at the only till and till and card often do not work. The owner is loud and obnoxious, very mean to staff incl. a daughter... A very bad place...just stop at ANY other place and enjoy Denali!😎

They don't bother to tell you that they lock up the showers & laundry at 8PM...ditto for the restrooms. There is a portapotty somewhere , I believe they mentioned when we got there a few minutes before 8, planning on doing laundry & getting showers. But no, no showers, no running water for toillets or hand washing, and no laundry

This is also an RV park. Nice, unique set-up. No fire pits at each site, but sites are designed around a center pavilion with grills and a big covered cook area which encourages you to get to know your fellow campers. This was billed on a "find-a-campground" site as the best RV park in the area and only 3.5 miles from Talkeetna. HOWEVER, while it is about 3.5 miles from Talkeetna as the crow flies, it is more than 30 miles one way to Talkeetna when driving a car. That was frustrating, but the RV park itself is small and nice with a decent camp store, fuel and a grill inside where they cooked basics like hamburgers and hotdogs.

Friendly staff, good selection of road snacks, and usually not busy because I think most people stop at the Talkeetna Spur intersection.

Great hotel small and quiet. Great prices. Super clean and well furnished. The people that own and run the place are really nice people and I will for sure be back to stay.

Great having everything right there. All the hook ups, water, sewer, electric . The store, and liquor store. A little noisey up front during the day. No where for campfires.

Easy in and out, sites a bit too close for us. Owner yelling at the poor kid working there for helping us get propane was a big turn-off.

Wonderful coffee creations, nice bathrooms with glorious hot water and reasonably-priced fuel. You better stop here, or you'll regret it!
