Needed my impacted wisdom teeth removed. Never had a procedure like this done before, so I had a lot of questions. Everyone was very helpful in answering them, and Dr. Seth Jorgensen went step by step through the process with me the day before my appointment.No pain during the procedure, just some tiny stings near the beginning and some pressure. (As to be expected!)My favorite dentist I've ever been to! Super friendly and experienced. 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

Dr. Wortham has treated all the members of my family with complete professionalism and knowledge. Both my girls feel comfortable in his presence and he always makes them feel at ease. I'd recommend him and his staff for anyone who prefers a hometown feel in a dentist practice.

I really appreciate the Dr's working on my tooth, it tells me that they really do care. It's not just a service they provided, it's also building a relationship with their customers. I was afraid to go back to the dentist because with my previous (with another provider) visit, she worked on one of my teeth & worked through it too quick & I didn't feel comfortable with her. But the Dr's here are professional, trustworthy, & they care about the patient(s). I would HIGHLY recommend Foothills Dental Alaska.

I recommend Foothills to all of my family and friends. Dr. Wortham saved one of my teeth another dentist had decided to pull; it was very much worth going to Foothills for a second opinion. Since they have free consultations, there was nothing to lose and a tooth regained! :) Dr. Wortham is a kind and peaceful dentist, open to the patients' feelings. He does not talk down to his patients, and even sees folks by special appointment to meet their needs. They do accept Denali Kid Care and have been very good with our daughter. We have been to over a dozen Alaskan dentists over the years and have found the one we will stay with. Thank you, Dr. Wortham & staff! :)

I have had dental work performed in Florida, North Dakota, Iowa and Colorado along with other parts of the world. The quality of work and moreover, the dentists, pale in comparison to the treatment I've received from Dr. Todd Wortham. His attention to detail, superior quality of workmanship and absolute drive to ensure perfection is not only special, but extremely rare. Uniquely, unlike 99.9% of other dentists throughout the United States, he does not refer out to oral surgeons or other specialists due to his high level of education and ongoing certification across all disciplines. This 'one-stop shop' environment is such a refreshing convenience which obviously saves his patients an inordinate amount of time and hassle.Dr. Wortham is incredibly personable, engaging and has an inherent passion for his craft. I feel extremely fortunate to call him my dentist.

I was in Valdez on a fishing vacation and my tooth cracked! They got me in the same day, took x-rays to verify if there was root damage, then created my crown right there in the office. I watched it being made. It fits perfectly, and I have had no problems with that tooth since. The staff was very friendly while maintaining professionalism. The cost was a little over half as much as my dentist charges for a crown, with only one visit instead of multiples! My only complaint is that it is too far to drive for a hygienist visit!

The Dentist that I used in Valdez, was over talkative and spoke of harsh topics without regard to the child in the room. He let her cry in pain or fear, after the conversation I didn't know which it was. He compared his grandparents slaves to animals in context with my traditional hunting practices. The very comparison was to strong to be witnessed by an innocent child.
