Grand Building built our dream home in Wittmann. The new build took about 9 months. Michelle & John were so kind to provide us with regular updates along the way and even allowed us to make adjustments to their plans which turned our dreams into a reality. Our realtor and this company made building a home easy and exciting. I have never experienced working with a team that made you feel like family. I was so grateful they invited us to the "roof on" party because we got to meet the talented & kind team that built our home. Towards the end of the build during our walk through, we only found 1 light switch that didn't work which was easily fixed. I was so impressed with the final piece. Its easy to see that the Grand Building team is a team that takes pride in their work and their level of professionalism. I HIGHLY recommend this team to all family and friends looking to build a new house or remodel their current home.

John and his staff were fantastic!! John and staff built new commercial restrooms for our wedding and event venue in Surprise and I am so glad we chose Grand Building. Being a business owner, I have worked with many GC’s and John is top rated for sure. Responsible, reliable, and on time is what stuck out to me plus they do excellent work. Timeline’s were always on point and when they said they would be there, they were. I would definitely build again with John and his crew

Grand Building and Remodeling, John Martinez, did an excellent job on our building project which consisted of an additional room to our home (combo bedroom/laundry room with cabinets) and an attached single car garage. John was open to our choices, he followed up regularly, he had a clear and precise contract, and finished our project in a timely manner. He also came back after the project was completed (and paid for) to correct a small issue. We had gotten 3 estimates and Grand was in the middle cost wise but we chose Grand Building because John was the most professional. We are glad we did and we'll definitely hire Grand Building again when we have another project.

We had a 14’ x 16’ addition put on the house this year. We put the project out for bids to three different contractors. Grand was the only contractor that gave us a detail bid proposal. We then met with the owner and after a few good suggestions from him we enter into a final contract.We were completely satisfied with the workmanship of this project. The employees were always courteous and helpful. We were kept informed of the progress of the project. It did take a little longer than we expected, but this was due to supply issues and the Maricopa county permit process not the contractor.He had told us up front about the county's slow process and to expect about 3 months just for that. It took me a while to find John and Grand Building and Remodeling. But it was definitely worth the wait. I had over 16 bids prior to finding him to convert and extend my Carport into a garage. Either contractors would not handle the plans/permits, or they were too busy to take on the job, or low ball estimates led me to believe the work wouldn't get finished since half what others were estimating. I don't recall how I found Grand Building and Remodeling, but I did read this company was one of the best builders for garages in Arizona. John came out to give the estimate which fell within the range I anticipated and it included plans and permitting. We encountered hiccups with permitting through the city, no fault of John or Grand Builders. So the project started late. But let me tell you, each crew John sent was top knotch. All were respectful and exceptionally skilled in their trades. John kept me informed each and every step of the way and went above and beyond my expectations. Special shout out to Omar and the carpenters (I don't know their names) and the electricians. They were such a delight and you don't typically get that type of experience with this type of trade, at least in my experience. Honestly, as thrilled as I was when the project finished, it was also sad to not have these awesome people at my house because I got used to them working here every day for a few months. Final results exceeded expectations and John is honest, fair, and an absolute pro. Thank you for my beautiful garage and for taking the stress out of what easily could be a stressful project. I highly recommend John and his crews.

Grand Building provided us with a fair price quickly. Identified an issue a previous contractor/engineer had caused which resulted in trouble with the city on permit. Once Grand took control there were no further issues with the city. Communication was great. They always showed up when they said they would and were very professional. Grand Building & Remodeling did extensive work during the Fall of 2017, into 2018. We added a one bedroom/bath/large walk-in closet addition as well remodeled the kitchen & bathroom. In addition, we changed out all the doors/doorframes, added crown molding & larger baseboards. We are very pleased with the final product. John (owner) was very good at transforming my design dreams into reality! All of Grand Building workers, sub-contractors did exemplary work. All the workers were professional & easy to work with. We received daily updates on the next days work schedule so we could anticipate who & when there would be workers arriving. Any time we had questions/concerns, they were addressed promptly. We plan to do more remodeling in the Fall of 2018 and without a doubt will again be using Grand Building as our contractor!
