We had a very positive experience with Acuity Builders and Construction. We had major water damage on two floors of our house. We hired one company to do the water damage mitigation and then based on recommendations and interviews, we contracted with Acuity to do the restoration and along with some additional renovations. Gabby was very professional estimating this complex project and did a masterful job working with the insurance company adjuster to get the full estimate approved. To get this work done we then had to vacate our house and have a complete pack out and pack in. Ken Hawk managed the project and his estimate of 11 weeks to complete the project was spot on. Ken’s relationship to his reliable local suppliers, workmen, and subcontractors made this possible. We learned how critical timely two-way communication is in this process and Ken proved to be an excellent communicator. He was also exacting in the quality of the work being done. In his regular inspection walkthroughs with us he would note needed tweaks in the work and make sure these got done to his and our satisfaction. His cost estimates of additional work we wanted him to do were reasonable and he stood by his estimates. Ken has honored his two-year warranty on his work and has corrected two small issues promptly to our satisfaction. A year later we look back and consider ourselves very fortunate to have chosen Acuity. We strongly recommend them.

I couldn’t be happier that we chose to work with Kenny at Acuity Builders. We had a big project/remodel after a flood and I never imagined my house would turn out this beautiful. The communication was hands down 5/5 stars. Kenny listened to what I wanted, never told me no and never tried to steer me in a direction that was just “so-so” just so that it would be easier for he and his team to complete in a timely fashion. We had a timeline, and it was met. His team is 100% reliable and dependable and they were all very friendly. Kenny was more than happy to fix any issues and I can’t tell you how much I appreciate that. It’s one thing to get the job done, it’s another to get it done right. I also felt that he was fair with what he charged for the work. This is a company you can trust and I’m so glad he was recommended to us. My husband told me he’d never let me remodel because he could never trust that the contractor would complete quality work. Then after we were forced to after the flood, I cringed at the thought, but the process couldn’t have been more positive. I highly recommend Acuity Builders.

Ken and his team did an INCREDIBLE job. They were so efficient, respectful and great to work with. Ken is an excellent communicator and the project was seamless. We had our entire home tiled, wall replaires/painted, an additional room added to our kitchen, partial bath remodel and a total kitchen remodel. Our home looks better than we expected and we cannot say enough positive things about Acuity. We hope to work with Ken and his crew again in the near future.

Kenny and his team did a great job on a water damage restoration project at our house. Essentially our entire floor needed to be retiled after a major plumbing pipe issue. I am so pleased with the result of my kitchen renovation needed after water damage. The general contractor, Ken, closely monitored every phase of the project. The workmen he sent over for demo, flooring, cabinets, countertops, painting, and other jobs were friendly, professional, and completed their tasks in the estimated time. Acuity Builders are awesome. I had flood damage and decided to make some additional changes; they went above and beyond in a timely manner to work with me. Every member of his team expertly demolished, repaired and cleaned up every bit of damage in exactly the time they promised. Ken and his guys at Acuity took fantastic care of us after we had some water damage to our home. The reclamation company did more damage than the original flooding, so by the time Acuity got to us, we were already beyond stressed. Ken took the time to understand our needs, worked with the settlement from our insurance, and put our home back together beautifully. Ken Hawk and his team are amazing. They took the nightmare of needing a home restoration and turned it into an amazing remodel experience. My house never looked this good. I was very sceptical at the beginning because all the other 5 Star restoration companies wanted to just rebuild me the same house that I had before, but Ken totally had a vision for transforming my house, and he did just as he promised to do. I was really impressed. Ken's team is amazing to work with. I just need to give a shout out to one member of Ken's team: Saul. I would not trust another human being to do a very minor paint touch up above newly installed beautiful carpet, but I trusted Saul and fixed the minor issue like he always does to perfection. If I ever need another restoration job, Acuity Builders and Construction is the company I would call without a doubt. Thanks for everything Ken.

We had an amazing experience with Kenny and his crew. Kenny was very attentive and communicated well in all aspects of our remodel. We replaced all flooring, filled in a sunken living room, replaced all doors and windows, as well as all baseboards, remodeled the master bathroom and kitchen and painted the inside and outside of our home, all in three months time. Our experience with Acuity Builders was the best I have ever had with a contractor. After the hail storm we learned that our roof and air conditioner were damaged and had to be replaced. I called multiple companies and went with Acuity because they were the least expensive but also the quickest to get back to me. Ken Hawk came and talked to my husband and me personally, answering our many questions with patience and professionalism. He walked us through what the insurance process entailed and then took care of everything, including dealing with the insurance directly! The workers he hired were clean, polite and courteous, leaving no mess behind like other roofing companies have done. When a minor problem came up many months after the work was completed I called Ken and he had someone there within a couple of days- problem fixed! Imagine getting this kind of quality workmanship and customer service from the lowest bidder! Companies like this DO exist! I can not recommend Acuity Builders and Construction strongly enough!

They removed the old floors and baseboards, painted the house inside and out, put new floors in and had someone come and clean the entire house. I had a leak in my master bedroom and bathroom that was a real mess to clean up. Acquity was referred to me by Copper State Builders who had to take out all the damaged areas and did a GREAT job. Ken at Acuity was great. He and his team restored the drywall, painted, put in new tile in the bathroom, built a new vanity and installed, put in new carpeting and padding, painted the bedroom and bathroom, and restored everything that needed to be restored. He was great to work with as were the rest of his associates. I would definitely hire them again if, God forbid, another disaster presents itself. I was also glad to see all their great reviews. We used Acuity Builders for our personal home after a lift station malfunctioned in our basement. The attention to detail from Kenny was fantastic as well as the communication and deliverable of the remodel. I would highly recommend Acuity and happen to be calling them again to assist us in repair after a more minor leak this time but definitely a job I know they will deliver on and do so in a timely manner.

I had a water leak in the kitchen. Did not know who to go with. Someone told me about Acuity. After meeting with Ken I decided to get my entire house remodeled. I have a brand new house! Working with the insurance was a nightmare! Ken worked with the insurance and got my tile covered. I had water damage under the tile and the insurance was refusing to cover it. Very happy with the work that Acuity completed at our house. We had a roof leak that occurred due to a moved condensation line. This resulted in water damage to the interior. Omg where to start!! We had our drainage pipes replaced because they because it busted all threw out home !! Acuity builders was amazing!!! We had started with a different company with our kitchen, needless to say we didn’t let them go any further! We hired Acuity builders , what a difference between the two companies!! From start to finish , Gaby did our walk through and estimate, answered all questions and dealt with the insurance company!! Matthew was the foreman for a project . Him and his team did a beautiful job on our bedroom and bathroom ! We did some upgrades to our bathroom and our bedroom floor, Mattew gave me an estimate and stuck to it !!! Matthew was very communicated and answered all questions! After 6 months of being out of our home they came in took over like a⭐️ Boss ⭐️and got us home !!! Thank you so much !! In February 2017, I discovered wet walls and carpet in the walk-in closet adjacent to the travertine stone tile shower in the master bath of the house I had recently purchased. My real estate agent recommend Acuity Builders as they had performed well for a client of hers. Ken Hawk and Matthew Garrett of Acuity Builders came to the house and determined that water was going through the through the stone tile and breaching all layers of waterproofing.Matthew and Ken worked closely with us to rebuild from the water damage. The entire shower was torn down and rebuilt with new tile.
