American Solar & Roofing installed my new solar system. Jose and Miguel did the install. It went online today and is working great. Thanks guys for job well done.This was a fantastic experience from the beginning (when getting the estimate from Sean who explained the system I was getting and answering all my questions) to the end (when it went online and I could see my system generating solar power).Additionally, I was well informed of the process and schedule, always getting updates from Mary Anne. I had a home PV system installed using American Solar & Roofing 15 years ago on our previous home. I was very happy with that install and had no complaints. I decided to use them again for our new home in Anthem. I’m glad I did. Another great install. Jose Leon and his team did a fantastic job. Everything was straight forward, and everyone one at American Solar was very receptive to questions or any concerns I had. I’ve got no complaints. Great improvement with their service and responsiveness compared to 8-9 years ago. Responded quickly to my request for checking out our inverter, schedule an appointment, and sent a very knowledgeable man out. The representative that examined the problem was very nice, explained what the issue was, ordered the needed part, and explained what to expect next. VERY HELPFUL.

The technician, Mr. Curd Flowers, troubleshot and identified the Inverter as the solar system problem. The Inverter was still under warranty, was placed on order, and replaced in two weeks. Also, Mr. Flowers explained, in detail and demonstrated to me, all other solar system components were operating properly. Lastly, American Solar and Roofing gave me a free roof inspection, in conjunction with, a free Production upgrade proposal. Definitely a 5 STAR experience!

Great customer service! Knowledgeable staff from the front office to the technicians. They put in my system 17 years ago. I needed service and repair on my inverter. They were still in business. That’s huge. Curd our tech was top notch. Kaiden in the office is quick with responses and proactive messages.

Just had American Solar & Roofing replace my inverter. My array they installed in 8/2008 is still going strong! My inverter was 5 years past warranty and American Solar gave me a very good price on a replacement and now I'm good to go for another 10 years+!! Thanks to the Great work completed and my questions answered you Tech. Curd! He did Great and walked me thru all the particulars. Another wonderful experience with American Solar and Roofing! In 2009 American Solar and Roofing (just American Solar back then) installed our solar panels. A few years later we needed our clay tile roof redone, by then the company had done so many roofing jobs they morphed into an excellent roofing company. They found issues with a previous Ky-Ko repair, and fixed numerous problems from the previous roofing job. The new roof has been solid and water-tight for nearly 10 years now and the solar panels are on their 14th year, still producing over 80% of the power they made when new. Highly recommend Joy and her company, American Solar & Roofing.

American Solar & Roofing service scheduler, Kaiden was very professional and promptly followed through with service updates and scheduling. Technician 'Curd' was a super guy who was really knowledgeable about our solar system. During his first visit, he accurately diagnosed the inverter problem and ordered a replacement. Upon returning to install the new SMA inverter, Curd did a beautiful job with the installation, especially reconnecting the existing and new wiring. I highly recommend ASR for any solar system install or service, emphasizing communication with scheduler Kaiden and superior service by technician Curd.

Curd Flowers was wonderful. He really explained the system and gave us access to the app. The previous tech said to call the office to get access and the office said I couldn’t get access because my internet was too slow. That was not true at all. We really thank Curd for helping us.

Being new to solar energy we didn't know what to expect. Working with American Solar & Roofing (ASR), they explained the process and product in a way that made it clear. No overselling, no unnecessary product. We felt extremely comfortable moving forward.From the start of installation, Project Manager Jose Leon and his crew are great! He would update us every step of the way from Approvals and System Design to Installation and Completion. His crew were On Time, Kind, Accountable, Knowledgeable each step of the way.We shopped around for months and spoke to many Solar Installation Companies prior to selecting ASR. So, if you are looking to install Solar, I will say we are very pleased with the service, expertise and responsivness of ASR.

I hired this Company to redo my roof and install solar panels about 15 years ago. They did a stellar job. Called them back to redo my roof and re-install my panels in 2022, not stellar anymore. The roof work was flawless. The solar panel re-installation was fraught with issues. Repeated visits from their technicians and nothing was fixed. I will give them credit for being responsive but their technicians were not properly trained. After hundreds of dollars in electric fees because my panels were not connected properly I found a vendor that determined that the polarity was reversed on two arrays and another vendor that actually repaired the problem. A simple mistake that could not be recognized by their technicians that cost me hundreds. My review is a three star because their roof work was high quality. There is no rating that can address the disappointment over the lack of training of their solar technicians.

I wish to HIGHLY recommend American Solar. Ben, William & Charles were a joy to work with when my solar panels were removed & reinstalled after replacing a very old roof. They were knowledgeable & conscientious in completing the project & followed up after the project was done to ensure I was satisfied with their work. I'd like to think I'll never need service again for my solar panels, but I have complete faith I've found the company I WILL call if needed!!!

I obtained 5 quotes. All suppliers were thorough and appeared to be reputable and trustworthy. I selected AS&R because they were the most affordable, plus they could handle the entire job in-house (i.e., remove existing solar panels, replace underlayment and tile, then reinstall solar panels).There were some glitches. The start date was pushed back a couple of times. They couldn't get the solar inverter restarted, but persisted, finally tapping the manufacturer's expertise. One year after the install, a house painter noticed that they did not lay tile all the way up to the edges of the solar panels. When I brought this to their attention, they jumped on it and made things right.
