We were given ACR by our insurance company. They were paid $44,000 by the insurance company even before we reviewed their contract. The first clue to walk away was the lengthy contract with a separate link to more language not readily visible from the signature pages. Daily hounding to sign, sign, sign their contract. As well as pay the deductible on day one.Aside from the required State protections, their contract is completely one-sided. Usually these contracts are written to indemnify them based on past practices, at the expense of the homeowners. The initial bid is usually low to appease the insurance company. Then everything grinds to a halt. The materials are not ordered. Subcontractors with no ID, no company logo, show up after normal work hours to take measurements that were already taken 10-12 weeks earlier.Insurance company inquiries on expected completion date go unanswered. ACR has repeatedly lied to owners stating that addendums and supplements were submitted to the insurance company. Basically falsely blaming their delays on the insurance company’s lack of approval. When, in fact, nothing has been submitted to insurance by ACR. It’s just a lie, and a stall tactic. It’s been 2-months and not a single item has been repaired.ACR has refused to give license and identification for any of their subcontractors. For all we know, they were found in the Home Depot parking lot. They have lied repeatedly regarding the ordering of materials. To date nothing has been ordered.Meanwhile, they will skillfully ratchet up the cost of the job and if the insurance company balks, the owner is responsible for any excess undisclosed, unspecified, and unforeseen costs. The delays continue while the scam intensifies.Attempts to reach project managers and/or the owners go on for days with no response. We suspect they will find an excuse to hold the owner in breech of their lengthy word salad contract and walk, or delay delay delay while increasing the cost of the job. If insurance declines their supplements, it’s on the owner. Eventually the job costs will undoubtedly be at or above the much higher bids from other companies. It’s their method for getting their foot in the door. Meanwhile the house is torn apart and unlivable with no clear progress or start date in sight. Just stalling, excuses, and lies.Do yourself a favor, get several bids and don’t walk, run from ACR.Owner"s Response to Review was a word salad CYA response. There is/was no continued professional, transparent communication. In fact, they said one thing but did the complete opposite. They had picked up the existing cabinet faces prior to their 3-week zero communication period. They initially kept the location and name of the cabinet company a secret. According to ACR, the cabinet people do not use email (first clue).ACR overcharged the insurance company by disregarding the $2,000 deductible paid by owner. Only when owner pointed it out did they adjust amount they billed insurance. Keep in mind ACR was paid by insurance BEFORE cabinets were completed. Then ACR emailed and said they would delivery the cabinets. But something changed and they conned the new contractor into coming to pickup the cabinets. There were missing cabinets (only 12 of 16 were on site). The cabinets were scratched, and falling apart at the seems. The insurance investigator determined that these cabinets were unusable. However, ACR is refusing to return the $14,000+ insurance payment.Meanwhile the cabinets are worthless and must be remade by another company. Keep in mind that had any homeowner contracted with ACR directly, there would have been no payment. But since insurance paid ACR prior to cabinet completion, I guess ACR feels they are owed the money for a set of garbage cabinets. Needless to say ACR refuses to answer emails and/or phone calls. Last contact, with Nick we couldn't get a word in before he began shouting and hung up.However, the owner's review states they pride themselves with the utmost professionalism. That's fabrication at best.Services: Install flooring, Tile work replacement, Bathroom countertop resurfacing, Paint indoors, Drywall installation, Plumbing fixture installation, Drywall repair

Jeffrey and Steve are amazing. They were always available whenever I reached out to them. I described my vision to them and they caught that vision and made it a reality. Dealing with ACR was fine. The sub-contractors were very nice guys, but did not seem very qualified. We were told that they used Youtube videos to figure out how to complete certain projects. This seems more in line with a DIYer, rather than a qualified professional. They cut various corners to get our project done and it shows even to this day. We’ve elected to resolve these issues without ACR because, by their contract, we are unable to utilize alternative subcontractors who may be more qualified. We no longer wanted them in our home, and if we are unable to get qualified people, we’d rather seek resolution elsewhere. There was also a myriad of contractual issues caused solely by our project manager. He was fired during our project and we only found out because someone left a business card at our home which puzzled us because ACR suggested we move out temporarily. So they were well aware we weren’t home, but never reached out via telephone as they had before. In essence, they were deliberately avoiding us, or that’s what it seemed at least.I had to ask the subcontractors to stop washing their paint brushes in our bathroom sinks. I am still finding chunks of paint in our plumbing. I cannot explain how frustrating this is, and is the reason why several months later I am posting this review. We are currently investigating the extent of the issue. We ended up compromising with the situation and electing to move forward without ACR. The situation was emotionally distressful to begin with, and we were so left in the dark that we never felt any relief until everyone was gone.

We had serious water damage in our home in Scottsdale. ACR came out immediately and started the mitigation process. They were very responsive and communicated with us regularly about their progress in mitigating all of the water damage. Julio and his crew of Rafael, Rosalio, Michael, Mario and Juan did an excellent job with all aspects of the initial phase of our restoration.

I had an unexpected flood and chose ACR from my State Farm list of construction companies to finish out the construction work. A team of two brothers came out for most of the work - Beau and his brother (cannot remember name) were so respective of my time and property-and were very particular about their work. Impeccable work and very kind. When the construction was done - the company moved back the heavy furniture, moved in order to re-carpet and paint. Rapheal and Patrick wore little booties, not to make mess on my tile flooring or carpet. They rehooked my washer and dryer - and tested both - found a leak in hose on washer - and took the time to go to homedepot and get the part and replace this part on my washer. Again showing detailed work and respected my home and myself with respect.I would certaintly recommend this company, they were a pleasure to work withServices: Paint indoors, Repair flooring, Furniture assembly

I contacted a few companies about cleaning our upstairs (2 bedrooms, hallway and stairs) carpet. AZ Carpet & Restoration had the best price and the friendliest service. Shortly after making an appointment I received an email with a confirmation. The email contained the name and a photo of the Carpet Professional who would be coming to our home. I found this information extremely helpful and definitely gave me peace of mind.He arrived exactly on time, was extremely friendly and got right to work. I was impressed with his knowledge of removing our particular stains from our carpet (pet stains). The whole process took about 2 hours.WOW! What a difference! Our carpet looked fantastic and smelled wonderful! With such wonderful prices and service I will have my carpets cleaned far more often and I am definitely a life time customer of AZ Carpet & Restoration.

Horrible interactions with this company. Shoddy work then refused to fix the damages they caused unless we file a claim with OUR insurance.

We were referred to Arizona Carpet and Restoration for hot water heater water damage repair. They were excellent! They sent out someone to determine the repairs needed who did a thorough job, making sure that all the damage was addressed in their estimate to our insurance company. They sent us a copy of the estimate and Cindy (in their office) called to make sure that we were in agreement with everything. It was a complicated procedure to minimize any inconvenience to me ... the new hot water heater had been installed the week before, and they would have to remove it to do all the repairs and then reinstall it. J. Fernando and William were very professional and conscientious doing all the repairs and reinstalling the hot water heater. Craig Wakefield was instrumental in fixing the plumbing so that the solar water system and hot water heater worked together efficiently and took the time to explain to me how it all works. I have to admit that as far as I understood when it was originally installed, it was 'magic'. I was delighted to have it explained to me.Cindy Drascic was so very helpful throughout the process, especially when I had some time constraints and restrictions that required her to make adjustments to our appointments.I would recommend them in a heartbeat. Great company, with fantastic service.

We used this company when we had an insurance claim due to roof damage from a storm. If I'm going to be honest, when we first started working with them I was not happy, the two they sent to start damage control were increasingly late to appointments- like appointment time is 10am but they show up at 8pm, kind of late. But I called their office and explained what was going on. They apologized profusely and then acted on what they said. Their restoration and construction teams were on time after that.Communication was great and the work was outstanding, no matter how often we called with questions or concerns (new homeowners dealing with a leaky roof is scary!) they were polite and responsive.Im confident now that my Ceiling and Roof are solid, they cleaned up both inside and outside before leaving and were polite.

Our toilet leaked (from the bottom) and the bathroom had to be torn up to contain the mold and bacteria. When they first tore it up, I didn't think there was any way it would look the same.We had three different guys come out for this project. The work was phenomenal--it looks like nothing ever happened. But all three of the guys were high quality people. They were prompt, cordial, professional, and any other superlative I can think to attach. They took care to do it right.

This company is a complete nightmare scam. We have got a referral from our insurance for small water damage restoration project and 3 month later we still haven’t heard anything back after 6 people came out to the house to ‘ take measurements.’ We even found the material in stock made all the arrangements and still no effort on their end to complete the project they just stopped returning our phone calls. We made sure they are removed from the insurance referral list - they are a complete disaster and should not be in business scamming people.

My sister did, but I helped manage it. Took about 6 months, and there seemed to be a lot of delays. Probably most of the backorder had something to due with COVID. Christina Calabrese was our project manager and was excellent at communication. She always kept us up on any progress and any delays. Her boss Zach Brizzee even came to the project site and checked in on it. Those two were key in getting this completed. Thank you!Paula B.

We were unfortunate on two different occasions that pipes burst and flooded parts of our house, and one of them happening on New Years Day. Both cases, Arizona Construction & Restoration were called out to respond to our water damage. They showed up when they said they would be there, and they completed to job on the time line they gave us. This was Key to the whole mess...They have an amazing team and they have my business if ever needed again...Thank you ACR

I would put in a zero but there’s no way to make a comment without at least marking one star. They need to fix what was not improperly completed and they need to fix the money issues. They were really good about telling me someone else’s work was shabby but then when their work was shabby they didn’t see it. What someone else had done was easily fixable but what they did is impossible to fix without tearing out my walls. They really played me for being stupid. Oh, they’re great sales people. Also, their cabinet man ran off in the middle. I have a lot more to say but I ran out of time.

The work hasn’t even been started yet after over 3 months going back and forth and starting from the top on every contact. Cannot provide us an accurate or complete quote of the work supposed to be starting in a weeks time. Will not work with us to include work we need or want done with the restoration. Having been living with black mold growing daily for 4 months already and at this point just going to accept it and find another company.Services: Mold inspection, Flooring, Water damage-related cleanup & repair, Painting, Water damage-related mold removal

Having a disaster is a very stressful situation, thankfully I was recommended to ACR from a friend. They were professional and very helpful in explaining all the steps in the process. The technician came out in middle of the night to extract the water. They handled the loss from the dry out to the put back. I am thankful for their help in getting my house back to the way it was.
