Given their long-standing presence in the industry, I had high expectations for Ky-Ko. They pride themselves on quality, but my recent experience doesn't align with that claim. After their work on my roof, it looks worse than before they started. The bottom row of tiles is uneven, some protruding by at least half an inch. Many tiles aren't properly aligned, causing one side to sit lower than the other. There's now a noticeable raised ridge at the front of the house, exposing raw wood. Additionally, tiles in the ridges aren't straight and have inconsistent spacing. On the backside, the paper meant to be concealed is visible between the tiles. The vent sheet metal appears poorly installed. The adhesive is pulling away like melted cheese. There's at least one cracked tile risking water seepage.Ky-Ko had multiple opportunities to demonstrate their commitment to quality. Firstly, their workers didn't strip the entire roof as expected, leaving sections untouched, working in sections, and leaving behind cigarette butts, even putting one out on the new hardware. One worker even accidentally damaged the A/C refrigerant line without acknowledging it. Secondly, when a representative inspected the work, they assured me they would address the issues. Lastly, a supervisor came to oversee the crew, but aside from fixing the A/C, it seems little else was done to rectify the problems. Based on these experiences, it's clear that Ky-Ko falls short of its quality claims.

Great job. Kudos to estimator, power washer, coating guys, and final inspector. Checked with another company and KyKo was cheaper. Good recommendation from friends who used them. Showed up on time, did the work, cleaned up nicely. Only issue was that I have three antennas on roof, one of which had a grounding wire they had to disconnect to do the job. They could not figure out how to reconnect that wire at the end. I have recommended they clearly mark such issues and take photos when they undertake future customer jobs. All in all happy. Course it hasn't rained much yet.....--jim

It took me six months to make the decision whether to fix a portion or to replace my entire roof and thanks to Kyler Hopper I went with KY-KO Roofing for replacing the entire roof. I've contacted a total of six Contractors in my search and I found Kyler to be the most honest and qualified, but still competitive. I recommend to everyone, especially in Sun City, needing replacement or repair. You'll be as happy as I am, I've been here 25 years.

I called and scheduled a visit for a roofing issue and spoke to Tracy. I verified the date and time before ending the call. The scheduled time came and went with no call, no show. I called back and was told the appointment was cancelled by me, which was not true. I don't believe this company values potential customers time, nor attention to detail. If I'm a POTENTIAL customer and this is the experience, then I don't want to find out what happens AFTER I've given them my business. KY-KO was the only company out of 4 scheduled, that behaved in this manner, all others were on time and attentive. You only get one chance at a first impression.

Ky-Ko just left my home. I called as the roofmate on a roof job they completed for my neighbor. I had a problem with the connection of her roof and mine so they did not get a dime from me directly. They showed up to fix "my" problem within 4 days of me contacting them. WOW! Not that I want my roof to fail but if it did..... I would for sure call this company to fix it. The two guys that showed up were respectful and friendly and if that is the service non-paying customers get then I am all in!

This roofing company was recommended to me by a friend. At first, they were very helpful at assisting. Now that the roof is finished, it is the opposite. There has been several issues with the awning since they replaced it. It rattles and has had to be looked at and repaired several times since they replaced it. Now, the roof is leaking again. Every time I call and report an issue, the office staff is very rude and has the attitude that I am wasting their time. They are short with their answers and not warm. Also, TAKE NOTE, they do not respond to negative reviews, only positive reviews. I DO NOT recommend this company.

Kyko Roofing did a great job. Very nice folks who work for there. I have an old foam roof that needed re-coating and they did a great job. Other companies would not do this job because they didn't install the roof but Kyko did. It will be Kyko when the time to re-coat comes around.

THANKS TONY THE OWNERBUYER BEWARE - THIS COMPANY IS SO HOPPED UP ON BAD REVIEWS YOU CANT EVEN SPEAK TO SOMEONE TO STRAIGHTEN IT OUT.I received an emailed quote stating the "worker" would "do the work themselves" not Documented - Then when I tried to speak to someone at the office, I was gatekeeped into, the manager's not here, nobody said this to you, your not experiencing this. Now the employee is blowing my phone up and threatening me. My next stop is the BBB - I can't fathom treating customers this way.

Something odd and unstable with this company - be careful. When the work was done we paid the bill within a week and they already filed for collections. We get a notice in the mail after they already cashed our check. Paid within a week and they already sent it to collections. Will never use them again.

So happy with my decision to use Ky-ko Roofing. Oscar gave me best quote out of 5, never pushy but had great followup. Marvin was my job general manager and he definitely managed the job, they stayed within their quote they replaced all rotted wood, and painted trim. The roofers cleaned area daily, were hard-working, friendly and respectful. As always when a person signs a contract there is always a little trepidation, that disappeared as Ky-ko was the best. No fear use Ky-ko you won't regret it.

They sale you a Cadillac but you get a Chevy. Just don't expect a KyKo truck in your driveway... it looks to me like they just subcontract it out. I personally had a problem with a couple things and they did finally correct everything but I just expected way more from this company.1 month later I had some issues with a rat coming into the roof vent and into my vent fan in the laundry room. Ky-Ko had their best man, Oscar, come out and take care of it. He found the roof flashing around the vent was not up to par and got it taken care of. He also went ahead and checked the other vents. I really appreciate their customer service who still believes the customer is always right!I could have given them a 5 star rating but here is where they messed up: 1. they removed all the tiles and flashing very quickly but left all the vents open over night (maybe 2 nights). Could have just at least layed a tile over all open areas so that rats, birds, etc.. would not enter the roof. 2. just had the flat roof over my garage redone by another company but the workers thought this was where they should lay out all their tools, extra tile and take breaks. 3. the fllashing on the vents was not reconnected correctly (see above). Just glad we caught this early before I had a real roof rat problem.

We contracted KY-KO Roofing after 5 other bids. They offered a special rate which is normal in the business as an incentive to hire quickly. They were contracted to do a commercial roof, old ceramic tiles of which we had to match, as well as a insulation from to cover a patio and HVAC duct. They showed up and knocked the job out. They were very responsive, respectfully, and got the job done within one week. I would recommend KY-KO any day.

The crew did a nice job and made the repairs that were necessary while replacing the roof underlayment and took and shared pictures throughout the job. They worked steady and hard each day and cleaned up. I guess I won't know for sure how good the job was until we get through monsoon season dry with no water leaks or water damage but certainly looks like all processes were followed for a quality job. I called Ky-Ko to replace a couple corner tiles that broke and fell off the roof. I got a call from Ernie and scheduled a meeting. He was professional and thorough with his repair recommendations. I tried to get another estimate from 2 other contractors, but apparently they were too busy. I called Ernie back and accepted their proposal. About 2 weeks later the crew came and fixed my roof. I paid exactly what I was quoted and have not had any problems with my roof since then. I had the opportunity to use Ky-Ko roofing for repair of a water leak which, in the great scheme of things was probably a minor job for them but was a world class project for me. I was very impressed by the fact that they made me feel like this was their top priority from the initial inspection and estimate through scheduling and repairs.The company staff was patient, sympathetic, understanding and most importantly knowledgeable in explaining every step of the process and providing advice as well as alternatives that could expedite the repair and meet various HOA and neighborhood requirements.The crew who came out to do the repair took great care in moving around on the roof so as not to crack any of the tiles and, in my opinion went "above and beyond" simply doing the job when they found two additional potential leak locations and, instead of just replacing the "underling" cut out the wood, replaced it, and THEN laid new underling so the potential problem was eliminated. They were very professional from the initial visit all the way to the finish. Devin did the first inspection and estimate. He let us know the problem spots and the proposed solutions. He had options from a simple repair to an entire new roof. They have good communication on the project. The work was completed. We did have one issue with a wind turbine.
