Price - They're a bit overpriced. The last two bids that I had from other licensed roofing companies was half the price. (0 stars)Speed - After multiple weeks of waiting I was forced to go with another company due to time constraints. (0 stars)Communication - Their communication was terrible. They very rarely answered there phone, never returned a missed call.Outcome satisfaction - Although they did not do the work in the end, their Process and waste of my time was a major factor in why I did not go with them at the end. (1 star because I have to give at least one star and they did not do any work to really rate the outcome.)Honor/Honesty - They're initial response was a ball park for a week and a half, Eventually I got it narrowed down to either Wed or Thu of the 2nd week. Then I had to actively work find out why that day was missed and if they would be coming another day. (0 stars)I would not recommend them. And after they wasted 2 weeks of my life I was backed into a corner and almost missed my deadline to have my repairs done. For a little context, I was in the process of selling my house and the buyer asked me to perform some roof repairs. It took about a week to get back to me because they were waiting on a quote from the roofer (State of the Art Roofing or SOTA). In order to save time I used SOTA since they had already seen the house and generated a quote.Initial contact: I was able to get a hold of them after the 3rd time calling. I was told that they weren't sure but it would be about a week and a half before they could get to me, and to just sign the quote and send it over. So I asked them to confirm receipt when I sent it over... no response.Week 1: I called them multiple times a couple of days in a row. Finally I get an answer at the end of the 3rd day. They say we will get out to do your house on the wed/thur of the following week.Week 2: Tuesday... no call, Wednesday.... no call, Thursday no call. I called multiple times on Thursday afternoon no call back. I call a couple of times on Friday, finally I get the owners number and call him up. He says he will see what's going on. About 2 hours later I get a phone call. The assistant apologizes and informs me that the crew has been out sick with pneumonia. Now besides that being skeptical, it doesn't negate the fact that you didn't communicate any of this to me without me hounding you and your owner. You couldn't even bother to return my calls. At this point. she said she'll call me on Monday of week three with an update. Since I have a deadline with my buyers I start reaching out to other roofers. most say they can't do the work on the short notice.Week 3: The assistant at least calls me on Monday but only to say their still sick. Thursday SOTA calls and says they can do the work on Monday of week 4. But at this point they are too little too late.
