Strong Roofing ReviewRecently due to inclement weather in Mesa , my parents home was left with excessive damage to their roof due to strong winds and bad weather. Marcus was able to provide a competitive quote and work with my parents on scheduling and made the process very easy. The work was done with high level craftsmanship, and now my parents home looks like a new home. Marcus and his team are EXCELLENT!!! We contacted him for an estimate on replacing all of the shingles on our roof and the very next day he was out checking out our job. He was so fast to give us a REAL quote with line items and everything. Some roofers wanted to charge extra for ridiculous things (like color of shingles) that didn't even sound right - Marcus said there was no such upcharge. He really knows his stuff, uses quality products, and is very friendly and easy to work with. I would recommend him and Strong Roofing to anyone I know without a doubt!

Marcus is a very personable guy and will do his best to see work is done. We had problems with the material…no fault of Marcus, but made for a stressful project. We were out of town during last monsoon and some of our roof shingles were torn off. Although Marcus was very busy he fit us into his busy schedule. He had to reschedule a couple times due to rain. He is one of the very few contractors you can reach by phone (even while working on a roof! ) Local business, honest, fair price, good work. He may be a little backed up but would definitely recommend him. He also sent pictures of the work when he was done. Use Strong Roofing if you want a quality job and a fair price by a real nice guy.Service: Roof repair

Called Strong Roofing for quote and Marcus the owner set up meeting a few days later and showed up on time. He took time to answer all my questions and had samples of shingles. After a few bids decided to go with Strong Roofing. We set up date a few weeks later and few days before roofing shingles were delivered on roof. His crew of 7 showed up at 6 am and by 4:30 pm were all done and looks great. They cleaned up everything and would highly recommend them. Any questions I had Marcus would always call or text me back. *SORRY FOR THE LONG READI had a VERY bad experience with Marcus and Strong Roofing. We had set an appointment with them "seeing as they had very good reviews" to inspect our roof for hail damage. He was over an hour late for the appointment with no call ahead of time. After confirming the hail damage, we set up for Marcus to meet our Insurance Claim Adjuster when they came out for their inspection. He didn't show up on time, or at all for that matter. Said he had another appointment and wouldn't make it in time. I guess our appointment didn't matter. The Insurance adjuster said we had no hail damage because Marcus wasn't there to represent us like we planned. Marcus then said he would come out the next day to see what the inspector had chalked on our roof about the inspection. Again, no call, no show. Finally text me back the next day but I had already started working with another amazing roofing company by this point. The new company helped us fight with Insurance for 2 months including sending detailed reports with pictures and finally we got a roofing engineer out and deemed it a total loss from hail damage. It didn't need to take this long, but it did because Strong Roofing wasn't reliable and always put us 2nd to other things. Them not showing up cost me 2 months of fighting with Insurance and almost 18k out of pocket. Look elsewhere for reliability and respect.Service: Roof inspection

I had an appointment to have an estimate done. I work overnight 12 hour shifts, and skipped sleep to be awake for our appointment. Not only did no one show up for our appointment, I didnt receive any call/text/communication before or after. Completely ghosted me. Now I have a bad roof and only 3 hours of sleep for a 12 hour overnight. Very unprofessional.EDIT TO ADDAfter finally getting a hold of him almost 2 hours after the appointment, he apologized for dropping the ball, which was greatly appreciated. But then, after seeing that I wrote a 1 star review BEFORE I was able to contact him, he called me again asking me to take it down. I understand that everyone is human and mistakes happen, but that doesn't change the fact that it happened. You apologized and made it right, great. Now we move on, use it as a learning tool, and continue. Not call everyone who leaves a bad review, especially for legitimate reasons, and demand they take it down.

The 2 stars for the review was for the initial inspection. The owner was the one to come out, he thoroughly inspected the roof and diagnosed/estimated quickly.After receiving the estimate, I indicated that I wished to move forward with the repairs, I received no response.After contacting the front office I was given a date and arrival window for when the repair technicians would come. I made sure that someone would be at the house during that time, to make sure that the repairmen had everything they needed from us. They never showed up, and the front office never contacted me to let me know that they weren't going to make it, and they didn't respond to my email/voicemail when I asked if they were running late.I went through that same routine 3 times. 3 times of no shows, no contact, nothing. I emailed the owner about my issues, no response.2 stars are for the initial inspection, -3 stars -1 for each no show.Service: Roof inspection
