This last few weeks of heavy, winter rain reminded me that I'm long overdue for a review of Canyon Sunrise Roofing. I've previously used Dave and his company for a repair on my current tile roof as well as a full replacement of a shingle roof at a rental property. So, last monsoon season when water began pouring into my garage there was no question who I'd call. For the record, due to the size and expense of a complete tile roof job, I took a few other bids and Canyon Sunrise was extremely competitive along with the assurance of using better quality underlayment as standard practice... no upsell for something that was going to last.We did encounter some challenges including my somewhat frail and super scarce roof tile that was made by a manufacturer who'd been out of business for close to two decades. Dave found me an excellent matching alternative that seamlessly blended with old.Lastly, I was around while his crew worked and they were a conscientious hard-working group. They also did a really nice job with cleanup.So, last week when it began to pour I took comfort in knowing the job was done right - water tight - and that Canyon would be around for years to service me should I ever encounter any challenges.

We purchased a 25 ear old home in Scottsdale which had never been re-roofed, so in May 2021 we hired Canyon Sunrise Roofing to do the job based upon the recommendation of a close friend who had used them. Dave Mack, the owner, provided us with an estimate and detailed scope of work following his roof inspection. Dave also supervised the work performed by his crew. A full roof repair was performed by Canyon Sunrise Roofing in February 2021. The job was estimated and supervised by the owner, Dave Mack. He was very responsive providing a detailed scope of work. The work was completed in about 3 days. Workers minimized dust and dirt during the course of the project. After removing and stacking all roofing tiles, existing single 30 lb. felt underlayment was replaced with double 40 lb. Boral/Tarah modified underlayment. Approx. 15 to 20 LF of fascia board was also replaced at no additional cost (10 LF allowance was included in contract). Dormer vents, vents, etc. were replaced and painted. Drip edges were installed where appropriate. These were non-existent and are essential to keep fascia boards from rotting. All work was performed to the highest standards. A 10 year warranty was provided upon completion. Highly recommend Canyon Sunrise Roofing for roofing repairs.Service: Roof repair
