I had been dealing with another roofing company that didn't pan out. They sort of left me high and dry when I came across Ironwood Roofing. Matt came to my house the very next day after I called him, to take a look at my roof damage. There have been some hurdles with my insurance company and these guys have been so patient and helpful. They've been with me every step of the way! I worked with Matt the most and to say he is friendly is an understatement! He is kind, patient, calm, knowledgable and professional! His customer service skills are ON POINT!!! I only got to meet Chris a handle of times, but he is just as awesome as Matt! His customer service skills are also ON POINT!!! My roof looks awesome!! These guys were terrific. Fantastic professional job. Even found some old tiles to match our roof so there were no color mismatches for the broken tiles. A storm dislodged a corner tile four years after they did their work, and they immediately came by and did a repair at no cost. Highly recommend them.

We used Ironwood Roofing in the past and they did a great job repairing our tile roof, which had been significantly damaged when the house painters walked on the tiles. Chris told us to call before the house is painted again so they could avoid repeated damage.We are about to have the house painted again so we called Chris. We thought it would be necessary to remove the tiles, have the painting done, and then replace the tiles. Chris told us that is no longer necessary. They just put thick pads on the tiles and save us a ton of money.During the prep process we discovered a leak and thought we would have to do major repairs. Chris sent Angel from his team to assess the situation, and as it turned out we just needed to fix a hole in the stucco and add some caulking. Again, saved us a bunch of money.These guys are ethical, they show up when they say they will, and they approach their work as if they were the homeowners. You can't do better than that. I'm proud to recommend their services!

Responsive to calls, emails, they communicated proactively about scheduling, expectations, and worked around my schedule for the work.The quote included specific details about the materials and process they would use for the roof.The roof already got some significant rain and no leaks at all. They provided drone pictures of the process and workmanship.Their crew picked up trash, nails, scrap and blew away debris after each day of work. Matt and Chris owners of Ironwood Roofing deserve a 10+ Rating!!! I interviewed and received estimates from 5 top rated roofing companies many recommended on NextDoor- Estancia ranging in price from $6,500 to over $12,000 to just re-coat the flat roof of my 22 year old 4,500 sq ft home. Chris, an owner of Ironwood Roofing is the only Roof Inspector that discovered that most of my roof damage was a result of hail damage which should be covered by homeowners insurance. I was skeptical at first but after personally viewing the damage and discussions with my insurance company & the insurance adjuster I approved Ironwood Roofing to work directly with my insurance company to replace my flat roof. Ironwood Roofing also removed two sections of “A” frame tile over my entrances, installed new underlayment, replaced tile and repaired an area where a chimney was removed during a 2019 home remodel. Matt, Chris and their Team are always professional, extremely knowledgable and their prices are fair and very reasonable. The project started on time, ended on time, they were always clean, neat and respectful of my property. The project costs were exactly as estimated. In todays world this is unheard of and says a lot about Chris, Matt and their company Ironwood Roofing. I strongly recommend Ironwood Roofing to anyone needing to repair or replace their roof.

Angel and Chris were primarily concerned with solving the actual problem, and had no desire to sell an unneeded repair. Ironwood Roofing spent the time to diagnose and repair the actual source of the problem and saved us thousands in costly repairs by fixing the actual source of the issue. We absolutely do not recommend this company for roofing needs. We had our roof redone in 2020. In 2021, we had a couple tiles fall off. We have set 5+ appointments over the course of the last 4 months for Ironwood to perform the repairs and they have not showed for a single one. Every time I call, I speak with one of Chris’ (the owner and roofer) assistants who profusely apologize for Chris’ behavior (yes, I’m serious), but there is nothing they can do. Chris is intentionally choosing not to show up for the appointments even after the assistants promise he will be here. He obviously doesn’t care.Service: Roof installation

5-Stars for Ironwood Roofing - a TRUE FRIEND of the Homeowner! Angel worked for over 2-hours water testing, to determine whether or not we needed a small roof over an upper deck. Our problem was that when it rained, water would “seep” into the upper room flooring, and then make its way down through the ceiling into the room below. Having ruled out the deck flooring, window casing & installation, and the stucco, it turns out, the issue originated from a single bracket in the upper portion of a sunshade installed on the deck’s window. We DID NOT need to add a small roof to cover the deck to fix our water leak after all! Without Chris’s insistence that Angel performs a methodical assessment of the situation (he spent over 2-hours), we would have been looking at a roof installation for that area in the $$Thousand$$. Angel (and Chris) SAVED us a costly roof installation. Angel found that by simply “properly caulking” the bracket on the sunshade, the water leak was FIXED! Thank you to Ironwood Roofing for NOT installing a costly and needless roof, when a tube of caulking was all that was needed. You are a TRUE FRIEND of the Homeowner!

Chris came came out and inspected the roof. He was the first contractor to actually be honest and tell me that I had life left in the underlayment and not to do anything.
