OUTSTANDING service. I initially called McBride Services to see about getting a new roof on the house. It was long overdue. Nathan came out to perform his inspection and with the help from our insurance company (due to hail damage), Nathan walked me thru the process to not only replace the roof, but also was able to replace the all the trim around the house and garage, new paint job, and new rain gutters all due to the hail damage. The McBride roofers were also wonderful people to work with. Very respectful, knowledgeable, and professional. In all honesty, there were a lot of fun to talk to as well and taught me a few things in the process.I HIGHLY recommend McBride Services and will DEFINITELY call them again for more work in the future. THANK YOU to all the McBride Service Employees. THANK YOU!Services: Roof repair, Exterior painting

I called McBride for a roof leak and they were out the next day. Steve reviewed all the work that needed to be done in addition to repairing our tile roof. He delivered a bid via email a few days later for the roof repair and the repairs inside the house as well. Work was scheduled to our calendar, roof and interior walls were repaired, wall and ceiling painted, end of story. Solid bid, solid work, very pleased.

We are a non-profit school in the valley so when we were awarded a grant to do some big repairs on our building we really needed to entrust the company we went with. We had to work hard for this grant and didn't want to get taken advantage of. We found McBride and we were extremely happy from day one. They professional all the way and very trustworthy. They replaced our roof and managed the entire construction process and dealt with all the other vendors which made our lives so much easier. Since then a couple of new things have come up, we call them and they come and fix the issue no questions - no hassle. Would recommend them to anyone!

After a hail storm, a McBride employee was hired to repair my roof and home. Within 3 months I was scammed out of $12,000. I contacted Steve McBride at his Phx office, regarding the scam. The initial meeting with him was encouraging and hopeful to get reduced costs for work that still needed completion. The “contractors” sent out over the next 6 months were not qualified, inconsistent, and some were hired from Craigslist the day of scheduled repairs. McBrides area manager, Brandi, gave continual false promises. Despite repeated calls to Steve and the office, there was no resolution. Today I have a “new”roof that leaks, “new” paint that is peeling on my house, and “new” gutters that don’t drain. The total cost for this repair was over $15000....not including the $12000 I lost in the initial scam. I am disappointed with McBride and saddened over their dishonest and deceitful work ethic.

I have to say that Nathan McBride went above and beyond. Everyone in the company took very good care of advising me on what steps to take. I was dealing with a leaking roof from a prior contractor. McBride roofing was extremely helpful in getting my issues resolved and I highly recommend them.

Summary – New roof in 2014. Since then, I’ve averaged a new leak each year, about 7 that I can recall in 4 different locations. I’ve made 30+ phone calls and text messages, with average response time greater than a month each time to address. Poor quality of work, poor responsiveness and disorganized. Today I continue to have issues and have not heard back from them since Aug, 2021 despite repeated attempts to contact them.Detailed Experience – I received a few roof replacement quotes in 2014 and decided to go with McBride based on price. They were the only company that did a bid by satellite image rather in person, but I didn’t think much of that. When they finished the job, I got billed $2,000 more than they had quoted me and they explained that the satellite image didn’t reveal that I was missing the proper roof caps which cost more. I agreed to pay an additional $1,000 instead of the $2,000 which they accepted. I was still unhappy, but I appreciated their willingness to meet me in the middle.Once I replaced the roof, I noticed a leak coming through the middle of an 18-foot ceiling – not easy place to repair and repaint I should mention. I tried to contact the company after hours but got an answering service, so I left a message. The next day I didn’t hear back so I tried calling them again and was still not able to get ahold of anyone. I eventually got in touch with someone – I think I left a message on the correct mailbox or something and they called me back, but was not given a date that they would be able to come out and address the leak. They said something like we will contact you to schedule a repair. Meanwhile, water damage continues unless you pay for a tarp service.Eventually, the roof was repaired so I hired a painter to repair and repaint the ceiling. This was a mistake because the next rain, it leaked again. In fact, it would take 3 warranty repair attempts to fix that one section and each time the leak traveled to a slightly different spot creating new damage. Along the way I had another leak near the porch that was addressed so the repair count was up to 3 or 4 at this point.A few years back I had some stone veneers fall off the house and damage the roof. I repaired the wall and replaced those broken tiles but experienced leaks in the area. They recommended I replace an entire roof section and charged $1,000 for the repair. It would have been nice if they tried to work with me a bit more on the price since they recently replaced the full roof, but they are in the business of making money, and the damaged tiles were not their fault, so I had no problem paying. Again, after the next rain, I had more leaks in the section they repaired. A month or so later, they came out to address the leak, and as you can guess, it was still not fixed. After several phone calls and voicemails and text messages, the owner agreed to come out and do a water test to locate the leak. The protocol should be to do this every time there is a repeat visit for the same issue, but the owner mentioned they are expensive and time consuming. This attitude towards water tests may explain my predicament today. After the test, they identify a hole near where the roof meets the side of the house. The hole is big enough that you can see insulation. I was told they would schedule something but they had a big job that would take a couple of months before they would be out. That was last August and today is December 29th and they have not returned any of my calls or text messages. A few weeks ago I decided to climb on the roof and filled the hole with caulk myself. We’ve had heavy rain the past couple of days and I think I may have fixed that issue, however I am certain it is a temporary fix. Last night, while sitting in my living room listening to it rain, I noticed the paint on my living room wall was crinkled - another leak. It is in the spot that first leaked a few months after my roof was repaired. Again today I have contacted the company and have not heard back - no surprise.

My spouse and I live in Plano Texas, specifically the area that got hit hard with hail. We had extensive roof damage. Cliff and Sergio helped us with every part of the process including helping with the insurance company. We are so happy to have a new roof damage free!
